Since she was the cashier I didn't think she would be in charge of cooking the dood so I over looked her workplace handwashing hygiene. As O was putting my card away she went to the fryer and lifted prefried wings to see if there were 20 flats available. An old gentleman came from the back I suppose to complete the order. I sat in my car for about 7 minutes went in and the order was ready. I looked over my food and the wings were correct. The fries were brown and greasy burnt looking. I wanted to ask them for fresh fries because clearly these were not them, but since she didn't care enough to qash her hands I didn't want the trouble. Won't be back.

I counted three servers, a bartender and a host and the inside was full. I could see guests at tables waiting for food as we were waiting to be greeted. It took a while before a waitress came over to greet us and take drink orders. When she did, she mentioned that our assigned server was a bit overwhelmed and that she would be taking the table for us. We opted to just have water and put in our food order in. We ordered the whole chicken wings with a red velvet waffle with the icing on the side, a side of grits, a side of whole wings, biscuits and turkey gravy and a cinnamon roll pancake (per the server's recommendation). Note that the side of grits and biscuits & gravy were not on the paper menu, but an option to order. Around noon, a djay began to set up and play r&b music, prior to that there was gospel playing. Twenty five minutes or so later, I overheard another server state that there were only two chefs cooking, and some guests were upset because of timing. This made me nervous and I asked our waitress if our food had been started because we could cancel and return when they were less busy. However, she assured me that the cooks started our food and it ended up coming out less than ten minutes later. This is when an okay visit turned into a good one. The food did not miss. There was not really anything that I disliked. The cinnamon roll pancake was the star & I would recommend it and get it next time. The chicken wings were seasoned well and crispy. The turkey gravy on the biscuit was unlike any I've tried but delicious. The red velvet waffle was good with and without the icing. The grits were good once I added a little salt. Overall the meal was great, the portions were big and we had enough to bring home for the next day. I would return for brunch again on a less busy day.

See my pictures.. Burgers come out, I say HOLD UP, there's cheese, asked for a menu, says 1.00 additional for cheese, that wasn't the issue. I don't do dairy. Waiter drops the condiments on the floor. 10 min passes by, still there. I decide to cover the spill with a chair (see images) THEN the order comes back. cook literally scraped the cheese off and sent the swim burger back. Being that I am allergic to cheese I said 'this is what we're doing here?' Asked for the manager. Waitress comes back and says OH THEY'RE MAKING A FRESH new dish. So no manager apology but we will shut you up and do what we should've done. Waitress didn't know so she apologized and was like the oops glad it's not on me look. The sole purpose is I thought this restaurant was up on its service BOY WAS I WRONG. Skeptical about eating my new burger.
