Structured Fitness has been central in both my fitness and lifestyle transformations. Working with…read morePhil taught me how to push myself beyond what I thought was possible and take a conscientiously healthy approach to life, not only in terms of diet and exercise but also in terms of how I perceive my own capabilities. Phil taught me that "a well conditioned body is a well conditioned mind." When I started with him, I weighed in at about 220 lbs (on a 5'7" frame), with most of the weight coming from body fat. Worse, I had no insight into my physical health and no drive to learn how to change things. I don't doubt I was one of Phil's tougher clients, but he was so patient throughout my time with him. Days when I was dragging or not pushing myself, Phil was able to use his positivity and encouragement to get me through my training. Now, I'm at a healthy weight for my height and I workout 5 days a week on my own. I'm grateful to Phil for helping me slim down, but what I really owe him for is changing my mindset from "who cares?" to "dedication+determination= transformation".
