I tried calling at first but there was no answer, so I went to their website and partially filled out the information request. After their last class concluded, I received a text message from Chuck. The message was very professional, polite, and informative. I had a brief conversation via text about what I was looking. Instead of trying to push a quick sale, Chuck took the time to see what MY schedule looked like and showed me sessions that would fit what I was looking for as well as my schedule. I decided I would give it a shot. They offer one "Free" session for you to try it out and several different packages to meet a wide range of price points. I arrived at the gym about 15 mins before the start of the 7pm session. I wanted to watch a little bit of the interactions and sign any waivers that were needed. Chuck was teaching and still took the time for a quick greeting, before continuing with his session. As the class concluded, I was able to get the paperwork filled out and was provided a loaner gi. I explained that I had zero knowledge of the sport. That didn't faze Chuck or the rest of the class at all. Everyone was friendly, laidback, and took the time to help me not just learn the steps but understand why they were there. There wasn't a moment throughout the entire experience that I was bored or wasn't laughing. By the end of the session, I was ready to sign up. If you're looking for a new hobby, I highly recommend checking this place out. Great environment and amazing people.

TITLE Boxing Club Fishhawk deserves ZERO stars. This is hands down the worst company I've ever…read moredealt with. They trap you in a membership and make it nearly impossible to cancel, even if you've moved out of state! They refuse to take cancellations over the phone, by text, or even by email--forcing you to keep paying for something you can't use. Their customer service? Absolutely appalling. The staff is rude, condescending, and makes you feel like garbage. It's almost like they enjoy degrading their members. I regret the day I ever walked into this club. This place is a disgrace to the fitness industry and a nightmare for anyone who values respect and decent service. Run, don't walk, away from TITLE Boxing Club Fishhawk. You've been warned--this place is the definition of horrible. Save your money and sanity! Update::::: Yet again, I am requesting the elusive cancellation form that has conveniently been withheld despite my repeated, polite requests. I have scoured your website and, predictably, found no such form. It's remarkable how a company so relentless in billing its members fails to uphold even basic honesty when asked to end an unwanted service. Furthermore, I'm aware of false claims made suggesting I owe money, which seems like an attempt to slander my name. I'm asking one last time: send me the cancellation form by email so I can officially end my association with this dishonest and horrible company. Let's resolve this now--just send the form.

I actually told a want a be gang banger at my work who was threatening me that I'd go ask the instructor here if he'd allow us to get in the octagon together in a controlled match to let us spare then hopefully we'd be able to get past our differences. Fighting shouldn't be a first option, but when it's necessary it should be in a controlled environment where each man can learn from from it and grow from it. He was an adult and less than half my age, but he declined. Now I believe if this man had joined this gym instead of hung out with gang bangers he'd have the discipline to speak better to his elders and wisdom to know when to fight, where to fight, and with whom to fight. There's a nice, small area with chairs on the other side of a windowed wall where parents and friends can sit and observe. The children's class we saw was about an hour long. They also offer teen and adult classes, too. We saw a classmate achieve another belt level -- and what he went through. It gave us an idea of what our grandson had to do to achieve his various colored belts and stripes. It was so nice to see the discipline of everyone; the respect given to the teachers. And the range of ages in the class. As others have said, these classes are not only for discipline and strength training, but also for building confidence. The students are well disciplined and respectful to the facility and each other. This evening's exercises were abbreviated due to one student's graduation session and moving up one belt.
