The bar was definitely hot when I got there. There was no waitress waiter customer service you had to figure it out on your own. I ordered the regular burger and they had tater tots so I went with that. The person taking the order was wonderful made suggestions and gave me a picture that went off shortly after I ordered. The tater tots were so spicy I could not eat it. They had some local seasoning on it that made it unbearable to eat. The burger was a burger, pepper, jack cheese, tomato, and raw onions. Can't beat this We passed through on the way to Moab and stopped for lunch (wish we have been here later so i could try some of their beers ) you order from the counter, some cool burger options and pick a seat. Foot came out fast, delicious burgers (my fries could have used a little more time in the fryer) The service was ok, not super organized but it worked. This is NOT cheap but the burgers were tasty. The good is the bar drinks and the craft beers and the bartender were excellent. The bar atmosphere was fun. The bad is you have to go up to the window to order food and then pick it up at another window. That was not so bad. However the young girls preparing the order seem to be having such a good time that they couldn't get the order right and when i let them know she tried to argue with me until she saw her mistake. The Locals (food) is located inside the Taproom (beverages). They are 2 separate businesses sharing the same eating space. They have a nice little outdoor dining area as well as inside dining. We had 8 garlic Parmesan wings and a side salad. The wings were amazing! They were large, juicy and cooked to perfection with carrots and cucumbers on the side. The flavor was really good and I don't usually eat much of the skin, but I ate some today as it had a really good flavor. The side salad was large and fresh. I absolutely loved this little find today. The food was amazing. We got a classic smash burger with all the toppings with sweet potatoe fries and it was just as you would imagine. Soo good that a little cheese and grease was running through my fingers. The fries were seasoned well and crisp. We also shared a pear and Gorgonzola cheese salad with smash grilled chicken on top and it was a big portion with what tasted like homemade dressing. I would highly recommend. Such a nice little find in this small town! Came on a Friday evening around 7 pm and we were able to find free parking in front of the building. The inside has a nice atmosphere with games and lots of seats. The workers were very nice and helpful. They greeted us when we came in. The menu had options of sandwiches, salads, and wings with many starters. I thought many things sounded good and very fair prices! I ordered the chicken salad and a side of Brussel sprouts for ~$22 together. The salad and brussel sprouts were very good! I liked them both and I left very full! Hidden inside The Tap Room, The Local is what I'd call Craig's best kept secret. Don't let the limited end of build your own burgers and chicken sandwiched fool you. They've also got some delicious sounding apps and hand cut fries. This is the only place I've ever eaten where lamb is an option to build your own burger with. They serve high quality food that's worth stopping into check out. Hubby enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and I had a chicken sandwich with Gorgonzola, bacon and the house made aioli.
