    Chute Burger and Chute fries

Ok, I'll cut to the chase. This place has GREAT BEEF. I'm picky about meat because I'm from a farm and this place gets 2 thumbs up. I had a Chute Burger, my husband got a ribeye. Both were well seasoned , perfectly cooked and delicious. The "LC" branded onto the top of the burger bun was a nice touch. Also the pickles were very tasty and the onions were sweet and crunchy. Our server was efficient and friendly, the restaurant was comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. It was lucky we got there early at 5:00 on a Monday, as the tables were mostly full and close street parking full by the time we left. Just a few minutes from I80, we will be back.

Even though it sits right off I-80 in Grand Island, NE, the race-car theme inside gives it a fun, lively vibe, and the place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and very organized. We were promptly greeted by Ms. Heather, the hostess, who was polite, cheerful, and welcomed us with a sweet smile before leading us to a booth in Ms. Hailey's section. Ms. Hailey was bubbly, friendly, and incredibly efficient--no movement wasted. She took our drink and food orders and even repeated everything back to make sure it was perfect. My sister ordered the All-American Cheeseburger with bacon on a buttered, grilled brioche bun with lettuce, red onion, tomato, and dill pickles, plus a side of seasoned fries ($14.50). The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and very tasty. I went with the Farmhouse Burger topped with melted American cheese and a fried egg ($18.00). The flavors were spot on and the egg was cooked perfectly, though the beef patty was just a bit dry. We also shared the Wings Snack ($8.50) and an order of Onion Rings ($5.50). The wings were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, though they were a little heavy on the BBQ sauce. The onion rings, however, were outstanding--super crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly the best onion rings I've ever had. Overall, this restaurant was a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very professional. If I ever find myself back in Nebraska, I will definitely be stopping here again.
