Has a vegan option! 1, but I took it. Coffee was fine. When you're vegan in Ireland, you'll kind of take any options available!

I loved the outdoor seating that allows you to take in the air, the narrow streetways, the buildings that have stood here for centuries. While we could only do outdoor seating at the time due to the COVID-19 lockdown measures, this turned out to be quite the good fortune. Where we sat was a nice spot to see the various people walking down the street, engage in conversation, all the while enjoying a cafe Americano and some tasty baked goods like brownies and shortbread with chocolate on top. If you know where to walk from the Eyre Square, it's a great find, moderately priced, and very tasty eats. Hopefully, the next time I can have some of the hot dishes they also offer when we return to Galway.

Was roaming around the Saturday market and discovered this cafe nearby. Ordered a vegetarian…read morebreakfast platter (+ avocado) and a Chai latte (with oat milk since they were out of soy). Both were excellent and very filling. The cafe is located just off the busy street and has some some outdoor seating. The window seating is great for people-watching. They have both books and newspapers as decorations/available for reading around the cafe. There's also two small restrooms (men and women, but they're individual rooms anyways). The staff were nice and the place was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

It reminds me of a country home by the water. The service was friendly and young. I got the plum salad, fallow deer, and roasted peach/caramel ice cream. The salad was spectacularly tasteful and fresh. I felt like the deer was a little too salty for my taste, but presentation was good. I was disappointed by the dessert. My ice cream was partially melted and the peaches were cold. I would give the environment/ambiance 5/5, service 5/5 and food 3.5/5. Overall 4/5.

I also had a banana soda, which was delicious. The ham and mushroom pie was ten stars. Excellent. Crispy charred crust, salty ham on top. And the mushrooms were not those boring ones like a papa John's:) Margarita was a disappointment. It may be a cultural gap but the cheese was not fresh mozzarella! Instead it was basically a cheese pizza. Enjoyed the boisterous dining area.

I stopped in while visiting Galway, and I now fully understand why the locals love it. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside with that ideal chew in the center. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the flavor combinations were bold without being overcomplicated. You can tell they care about quality. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun -- energetic but not chaotic -- and the staff were friendly and efficient. It felt like a local favorite that also welcomes travelers with open arms. In a country known for hearty stews and pints of Guinness, finding pizza this good was a surprise highlight of my trip. If you're in Galway, don't skip it. Trust me.
