    Marinated olives

Tried the bar snack menu, since my reservation was late, and it was good. The marinated olives were fantastic, and the smoked haddock & corn croquettes were solid. The shiitake and tofu mushrooms were just okay, I could've skipped them. My cocktail was delicious and the atmosphere felt warm and stylish. A chill place to unwind.

This was the most amazing and delicious dinner I have ever had! You need to come to this resturant. The service was amazing and the atmosphere is incredible. The flavors are unmatched! 10 out of 10! Best beef dish I have ever had!

We were walking around the Spanish Arch and decided to try Ruibin for lunch. Somehow we had the impression it was a typical pub with pub grub. We were so wrong and I'm glad we gave it a try. We were taken to the second floor to be seated and given a lovely window seat looking out toward the marina. This is a locals place and there were several business people there entertaining clients. The menu is unique and our meals were delicious. My husband enjoyed the seafood chowder and I tried the monkfish curry. Both dishes were spectacular. They have a very nice wine list and service was very good.

I really loved the Rubin! I especially loved the ambience Ambience: a really upscale environment that strikes the perfect balance with coziness! I really loved the whole vibe Food: I loved the food, the ricotta gnudi was amazing! It seriously was one of my favorite meals in Galway Service: really attentive and great service Price: reasonably priced for quality and service

Amazing all around! We visited end of June for lunch as walk-in guests, but are still thinking about this place. We started with top-notch oysters. The monkfish curry was phenomenal, as was my husband's chowder. The staff was attentive and warm. We were seated upstairs, and enjoyed the rustic yet elegant atmosphere. We felt both at home and spoiled at the same time. Thank you for an incredible meal!

Dining upstairs requires reservations. This place was HIgHLY recommended by several local area individuals (bus drivers, taxi men, local whiskey tour guide). My husband was super stoked for the pork chop plate, unfortunately it was overcooked, tough and a bit dry although great presentation. Travel mate & I had the monkfish plate which was superb. Mine was dairy-free cashew cream sauce, hers was regular. Fine wine to top off our meal. Also had a starter of the Ceviche (sea bass) with a hint of spice, this is a must try because it was very delicious. Upstairs dining is cozy and not too loud. Great ambiance. Our waitperson was exceptional, we were well taken care of.

Best fried chicken and chowder in Galway! Amazing cocktails and super friendly, welcoming service. We had the opportunity to eat outside on a sunny day, perfect!

Absolute class! Cocktails, Food, Service, and atmosphere were all 10/10s. Make sure to try every cocktail on the menu and the infusions that are out on display. Dennis running the bar is the f-ing man... If we make it back to Galway we will planning our trip around coming back to Rúibín. Wow just wow.

Food was good but definitely over priced. I don't think it's worth the hype but it's not bad by any means

But the staff gracious sat us at our reserved table and handed us a few hand towels to notionally dry ourselves. We ordered the hake with mussels, scallops and the trio of crème brûlée. It was all absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this bistro if you're in Galway and looking for a nice mealtime experience. The venue was packed. So we're not the only ones to think so.

We ordered the crab dip (very small portion, and it tasted like imitation crab meat), the steak was overcooked with little flavor; the side of veggies tasted like they cooked them in butter and oil (no hint of salt). The drink was horrible and I'm not one to send things back, but I'm not sure how a lemon drop martini ends up tasting like watered down lemonade. The oysters were okay and they make a good home made mignonette, but there was no hot sauce or horseradish provided. Maybe it's an Irish thing, but room temperature oysters are off-putting. The service was terrible, but our waitress was likely working the bar as well. She definitely forgot about us for a solid 20 minutes after she took our plates and verified that we didn't want anything else. I do not recommend this place. Pros: The ambiance was beautiful and it's quiet enough to have a conversation. I gave 1 star for the aesthetic.

This was my favorite restaurant because of the AMAZING seafood. The raw oysters were super fresh and it was fun getting to see the manager show us how to shuck oysters (he used to compete in oyster shucking contest and was ranked pretty high!). The steamed mussels and crab claws were also delicious. Ending the meal with cheesecake was great! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you are visiting a friend's home for a nice meal. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the area and are looking for amazing seafood!

People after us were directed to the bar for open seating. The seafood chowder was rich and filling. Mixed oyster plate came with three Gigas and three natives (5 years to grow) but we couldn't agree on which was the best. Moran's featured half a dozen different cold platters and we ordered the smoked salmon which consisted of plate sized slices topped with a salad and a scoop of crab. The Marie rose dressing was delicious and made this salad one of our favorites of this trip. Lastly their Irish soda bread was the best we've eaten and wished we could've gotten a loaf to take with us. The good service, great food and eclectic ambiance made for a nice Easter Sunday meal.

We didn't have reservations but the restaurant was able to seat us at the bar. For drinks, it's wine and beer. They do have some liquor. Reading previous reviews highlighted an amazing cocktail, but the manager said they do not serve cocktails. They can do things like gin and a bottle of tonic. We opted for a bottle of Riesling. We started off with complimentary soda and Guinness bread and butter. You could taste the freshness! My husband and I ordered the seafood chowder. One of our favorites in Ireland. For dinner, my husband ordered the seared tuna which was a special for the evening. I ordered the pan seared seabass. Our meal came with a side of potatoes too. His seared tuna was so good! There was calamari along with a vegetable. My seabass was so good. It came with potatoes and corn. Most fish we have come across in Ireland was fried so it was nice to have so many pan seared options. The dessert menu looked great but we were pretty full. I took a peek just in case. Chill vibes which is way different compared to the rowdiness of the Latin quarters.
