There are usually nice staff and there are good facilities. The screens are a bit dirty and worn out but it doesn't matter really.

All screens are based on one floor, with the foyer area having two ticket desks at either end and a food and drinks island in the middle. There is an array of sofas, tables and chairs. Once you have had your ticket checked, there is a sweets counter and smaller food and drinks counters in the corridors although I have never seen these open. There is ample free car parking on site with a casino a stones throw away if you fancy a flutter and a branch of Chiquitos if you fancy a bite to eat. The staff here are friendly, and I have found the cinema quiet during the week in the late afternoon. If you sign up to Insider you will get to hear about advanced screenings, can enter exclusive competitions and you get discounted entry too - £5 admission on Sundays after 7pm and all day Monday and Tuesday. Cinema is located off junction 10 of the M6.

There is seating and arcade games while you wait for your film. The refreshments is in the centre of the foyer serving hot and cold drinks with some alcohol. There are 12 screens in total. I tried the XLR seats and was very impressed. Leather high reclining seats with plenty of legroom. Which I loved being as I'm 6' 7

Love the Mockingbird!…read more Great beers on tap, including a selection of Belgian fruit beers, and a neat cocktail menu. The food is also very good (try the Mockingburger- It's got a giant fried duck egg on it). The cuban sandwich isn't really a cuban sandwich (it's basically BBQ pulled pork) but it's still really delicious! Really chill vibe, with exposed brick inside and outdoor seating in the custard factory courtyard when the weather's nice. What really makes the Mockingbird awesome though, is it's theatre and the regular events hosted there. Movie screenings paired with live music and cocktails... most recently Brandon A. and I went to a screening of The Blues Brothers and it was great! If you're in Digbeth it's definitely worth checking out.

With a great bar and restaurant area feel feel to eat and drink afterwards too, some nights the venue also offer food that are themed according to what film has been shown. The particulary love the bright and insta worthy décor! Based in Custard factory of what a gem, I'll be back again for sure Have a good day everyone, thanks a bunch for reading ----

The only downfall is the location isn't very accessible without the option of driving. The theatre is clean comfortable and well maintained and arranged so that everybody has an unblocked view of the screen. Although large, the cinema is easy to navigate and staff are helpful to giving direction if necessary. This has been me go to cinema and have never had a poor experience.

From the carefree…read morerubbish service, no guiding/monitoring of the queues, staff talking/laughing amongst each other when customers are waiting 45 mins or more, to the temperature in the cinema being so high that i struggled to keep my eyes open and kids falling asleep and others said the same. This is a hideous excuse for a cinema. Not my first bad experience here neither hence my review here. Spoke to the Manager and his response was "what do you expect on an opening weekend?" SERIOUSLY?? What a stupid response!! Well let me inform you... I expect you to have a proper queuing system which is fair and tended to promptly and professionally, I expect a dedicated service by staff members serving me with a little sense of sympathy for all the ppl waiting and getting late for their movies through no fault of their own. Which other cinema do you have to turn up over 1 hour before the movie in order to wait in a long queue whilst watching others form their own ques, it defeats the purpose of paying in advance online?! I WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS CINEMA EVER AGAIN!! The manager (an older asian guy with whitening beard in a suit), didn't care for his name tbh, made a bad experience worse with such a stupid response, standing around like a lampost, atleast a lampost provides light, much more useful than you. This was after I had already called for him before the movie started and he walked off pretending to be busy. Poor management and sick of the service. Will be telling everyone to avoid. Don't waste 3 hours of your life like I had to. People work hard for their money and if we spend it we have a reasonable right to watch our movies with comfort and ease. There are much better cinemas local, will be sticking to those. I stormed out of the cinema after the silly basic response from the Manager, he needs retraining or moving to the toilets, maybe he can be of some use there, however i doubt it. An insult to the Vue name unless its how Vue is training their staff?? The people of Birmingham deserve better, its not good enough and needs to change immediately. Or close your doors. Let a proper chain like Odeon do things properly, even on opening weekends, what a joke of a manager!! #Disgusted #Rude #WorstCinemaInBirmingham #useless Manager #neveragain Ps. I've toned my feelings down compared to how I'm left feeling after this atrocious experience. Could say alot more. Please close your doors Birmingham Vue!

There was a DJ providing the event with great house bangers which kept the atmosphere very upbeat. We spent most of the evening socialising with Vicky and the mighty elites, they were very welcoming and it was a great chance to network. The night then consisted of a private hot tub for two, watching the sunset and a cult classic - J A W S! The staff were very welcoming and decorations were an added treat with blow up sharks! I absolutely loved this event and would strongly recommend everyone to try it! A great experience, feeling very grateful thanks to Vicky and Harvey x

An evening on a…read morerooftop (apparently the largest roof terrace in Europe), with a surf simulator, a bar, hot tubs and films... This was right up my street. After I had missed Hot Tub Cinema in Digbeth, I just knew I had to go to this one. £25 buys you a seat in a hot tub, one drink token, top notch DJ's and a film. If you want a more personal experience with friends or a great date, you could book a private hot tub for 5 (for £125) or a deluxe hot tub for 2 with 4 drinks for £100. We arrived bang on doors opening at 6:30 (the film wasn't going to be screened until 8pm), so we could soak up the rooftop ambiance and enjoy a couple of drinks before the main event. One drinks token was £5, but we decided to cash in our 5 tokens as a group for a bottle of prosecco to get the night started. The rooftop was set up to give a proper Ibiza vibe. Comfy beanbags, the surf simulator, beach decorations, a bar (with themed cocktails) and DJ's playing from a hot tub with the sun setting over the Fort; this was a perfect way to start our evening. After Yelper Jack C. had broken the record on the surf simulator and we had bought more drinks tokens (all whilst having a groove), we were ushered to the hot tubs around 8:30pm. The film ended up being screened a little later (due to the sun setting later than advertised), but it was lovely getting into the warm water as the night got cooler. There were upstairs changing rooms, but these were a bit blustery and made it nearly impossible to get changed. The toilets inside the Fort were a much easier option for getting changed before getting in. The screening was fantastic. The sound was good, the picture was clear and the audience was calm and watched the film with only the lightest bit of chatter in the background. You could order drinks to the tub, so you didn't need to get out unless you needed to use the facilities (which was a cold run in the evening breeze). We left straight after the filming, but enjoyed a night of great company, themed fun and many drinks. The team at the Fort are hoping to host another round in August... I will be on it like a car bonnet and I recommend you get a ticket too for a night of hot tub fun!
