We have visited this cinema a number of times now, and find it to be a consistently pleasing experience.
Firstly, it is worth noting that the food here is not your average cinema offerings. You can enjoy a decent burger, or hot dog either in the modest restaurant area, or in the screen itself. The food, and drinks are reasonably expensive, as I half expected given the price of tickets.
There are three screens so no multiplex feel, and a limited film choice at any given time. However, each screen feels well appointed. There are comfortable sofas (with the occasional arm chair) throughout each screen. Each comes with a small side table attached the arm, so you can enjoy your food, and drink in comfort during the film. Also, there is a little foot rest ledge so you can stretch out. It's quite nice to know that no one behind me is going to have their feet up on my seat by my head! The screens are quite small, but even sitting near the front of the screen isn't too uncomfortable a viewing position.
After the trailers, and before the film starts, the manager introduces themselves, and the usher before the lights go out. A nice touch, in case of any problems.
Overall, this is meant to be a luxury cinema experience. I'd say it is more luxurious than going to a multiplex cinema like the Cineworld type venues. Could it be better? Probably. I personally don't like the smells of the hot food from other patrons wafting throughout the screen whilst I'm trying to watch the film. read more
