Well, if you're in the city centre, you could do much worse than heading to the start (or end, depending on which way you look at it) and venturing to Broadway Plaza.
This complex is only a five to ten minute walk from Broad Street's Cineworld multiplex and houses everything from bowling, a cinema, food, bars and a Travelodge if you love it that much you wanna stay overnight. The establishments are generally big-name chains including Frankie & Benny's, Bowlplex and AMC, but you'll also find the city's self-declared 'premier' independent Broadway Casino and the try-it-at-least-once Dragon BBQ Chinese restaurant.
A decent way to spend a weekend night, the big bonus here is clearly that everything is close together so you won't be taxi-hopping and the girls of your group won't be complaining about walking the breadth of Brum in hurty heels.
