Have never experienced any problems with sound quality or comfort levels. However, the audience at Apollo do have a tendency to talk through films, which is quite frustrating when you are trying to immerse yourself in a film.

The theatre is clean comfortable and well maintained and arranged so that everybody has an unblocked view of the screen. Although large, the cinema is easy to navigate and staff are helpful to giving direction if necessary. This has been me go to cinema and have never had a poor experience.

Which other cinema do you have to turn up over 1 hour before the movie in order to wait in a long queue whilst watching others form their own ques, it defeats the purpose of paying in advance online?! I WILL NEVER ATTEND THIS CINEMA EVER AGAIN!! The manager (an older asian guy with whitening beard in a suit), didn't care for his name tbh, made a bad experience worse with such a stupid response, standing around like a lampost, atleast a lampost provides light, much more useful than you. This was after I had already called for him before the movie started and he walked off pretending to be busy. Poor management and sick of the service. Will be telling everyone to avoid. Don't waste 3 hours of your life like I had to. People work hard for their money and if we spend it we have a reasonable right to watch our movies with comfort and ease. There are much better cinemas local, will be sticking to those. That is, if you can get a ticket! From when I used to live near the area, it was always sold out. So, big seats for the basic seats, then even bigger and four sofas which still work out comparatively to regular cinema seats. But the food and drink are rather more upmarket ...... a china mug of coffee, or a glass of wine and some cake or nice ice-cream but all affordable unlike a regular cinema. This is truly an outing and worth it. And then there are the bathrooms - black and white tiles, with individual fresh cotton hand towels and ladies necessaries free of charge on the window sill. And nice hand cream. It is worth it just for the toilets! Staff are lovely and helpful.

When I first heard about Super Spa Cinema, I knew it would be a great event. An evening on a…read morerooftop (apparently the largest roof terrace in Europe), with a surf simulator, a bar, hot tubs and films... This was right up my street. After I had missed Hot Tub Cinema in Digbeth, I just knew I had to go to this one. £25 buys you a seat in a hot tub, one drink token, top notch DJ's and a film. If you want a more personal experience with friends or a great date, you could book a private hot tub for 5 (for £125) or a deluxe hot tub for 2 with 4 drinks for £100. We arrived bang on doors opening at 6:30 (the film wasn't going to be screened until 8pm), so we could soak up the rooftop ambiance and enjoy a couple of drinks before the main event. One drinks token was £5, but we decided to cash in our 5 tokens as a group for a bottle of prosecco to get the night started. The rooftop was set up to give a proper Ibiza vibe. Comfy beanbags, the surf simulator, beach decorations, a bar (with themed cocktails) and DJ's playing from a hot tub with the sun setting over the Fort; this was a perfect way to start our evening. After Yelper Jack C. had broken the record on the surf simulator and we had bought more drinks tokens (all whilst having a groove), we were ushered to the hot tubs around 8:30pm. The film ended up being screened a little later (due to the sun setting later than advertised), but it was lovely getting into the warm water as the night got cooler. There were upstairs changing rooms, but these were a bit blustery and made it nearly impossible to get changed. The toilets inside the Fort were a much easier option for getting changed before getting in. The screening was fantastic. The sound was good, the picture was clear and the audience was calm and watched the film with only the lightest bit of chatter in the background. You could order drinks to the tub, so you didn't need to get out unless you needed to use the facilities (which was a cold run in the evening breeze). We left straight after the filming, but enjoyed a night of great company, themed fun and many drinks. The team at the Fort are hoping to host another round in August... I will be on it like a car bonnet and I recommend you get a ticket too for a night of hot tub fun!

Has a bar area, where drinks can also be pre-ordered for the interval, it is clean and warming, and the theatre itself is a gem. I did find the seats a little small, the larger bodied person may struggle, not sure if they have provisions. Ample free car parking outside too.

What really makes the Mockingbird awesome though, is it's theatre and the regular events hosted there.
