The seating is comfortable and because it is a small venue the audience are all within close proximity of the stage with good visibility. I'd love to say I went here to see someone cool like The Hoosiers, who played here recently. Sadly I have to admit that I took my granddaughter to see Peppa Pig's Party! The seating arrangement was good because there was plenty of room between each row of seats. Particularly important when you have small children who decide they need the toilet when everyone is seated. Unlike some other venues you don;t have to ask everyone to get up so you can get out. The Live Level is easy to get to, being just off the M6 motorway and A444 and there is plenty of parking on site. The Live Level is situated very close to a large shopping area with M&S and Tesco within walking distance. The venue is more suited to smaller 'gigs' such as Peppa Pig or comedy evenings as it is 'intimate' and therefore too small to host major events. It is however on the same site as the Ricoh Arena which has hosted groups such as Take That, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pink, Bon Jovie, etc and is soon to host The Kings Of Leon.

The theatre is clean comfortable and well maintained and arranged so that everybody has an unblocked view of the screen. Although large, the cinema is easy to navigate and staff are helpful to giving direction if necessary. This has been me go to cinema and have never had a poor experience.

I expect you to have a proper queuing system which is fair and tended to promptly and professionally, I expect a dedicated service by staff members serving me with a little sense of sympathy for all the ppl waiting and getting late for their movies through no fault of their own. Which other cinema do you have to turn up over 1 hour before the movie in order to wait in a long queue whilst watching others form their own ques, it defeats the purpose of paying in advance online?! There are two places to purchase refreshments, there is the bar, but right next to it there is another bar-like area which sells soft drinks and ice cream. The queue moved quicker for this, so that's where I'll be going in future. In the auditorium, the seats were small and uncomfortable. I had to share a third of mine with the large man next to me. But the sound was good, and overall it was a very positive experience

Inside, the theatre itself is quite large, although it looks mildly amateurish inside. The outside architecture of the building leaves a lot to be desired, in its' 1960s concrete style fabrication, however, the stage itself is a good size, especially for some of the larger scale productions. There is a bar for mid-interval drinks, of which pre-orders can be taken to avoid the massive queues at half time.

The venue is very deceptive, from the outside it looks like a small pub when infact it is a decent size club venue with a large room at the back for shows and performances. We were treated a very realistic Madonna impersonator complete with outfit changes and backing guitarist. I was surprised with the quality of the act that it was free entry all night, apparently this is the case all the time! Its safe to say a good night was had by all especially Jamie T who really harnessed his inner queen of pop. It was a sunny evening so we headed straight outside to the terrace area. When we arrived I was instantly impressed. When we walked in we were greeted by smiles all round and a funky bass line. I'd say it was 50/50 male and female in there which gave the place a great vibe as the other places I've been in the area had a predominantly male crowd. The drinks were reasonably priced; I bought a couple of wines and a couple of shots which came to around £10. I'd definitely go there again. Good atmosphere, nice crowd, funky tunes!

This is a real toughie to list as it's a secret speakeasy bar in the Jewellery Quarter. If you would like more information on how to access it, drop me a message and I would be happy to guide you, but they don't broadcast their location widely (to keep it interesting). Once you are on the text list, you will get a notification when they are open and the password to get in. When you have found the magical doorway, you knock and a face pops out of a peep hole... To gain access you have to have the password (I'm honestly not making this up). You will be guided by your host through a secret doorway into the bar below. It's worth noting that the bar doesn't accept cash or card - it's done via a ticket system (where you pay for your drinks in advance on a punch card). The downstairs bar is basic, but pretty fabulous. Barely lit with a mishmash of furniture scattered around and DJ, it's an underground cavern of boozy wonder. The opening hours and days are sporadic (so it's tough to plan a night out here), but it normally opens on selected Friday's and Saturdays from 10pm.

A secret entrance, a musty staircase and candle lit rooms make up this venue, It's a "no cash" bar and can buy a card at the door for £20 which will give you 4 stamps for drinks. Most regular drinks are worth 1 stamp which is a little steep which is why it's not a five star venue to me. The staff were however really lovely! I almost walked out before the play started. However, I wanted to give the actors a chance to overcome the distasteful display of hate and assumptions. When they have Prince Andrew and Mendelson to target, they target the President of the United States. Not every play goer is hateful and against Our President. That said, there are the typical opening night issues. Long pauses that indicated lines were forgotten or missed. The sound was also a bit off. About who showed anger or severe emotional pain by screaming, were hard to understand and sounds muffled and lost. Either the actors were not annunciating or the sound was too high on they're mics. There seemed to be a few missed cues, as well. So if that said, this okay was fantastic and the kinks will be worked out in time. I wasn't sure about the minimalistic staging and lack of scenery, but I couldn't have been more impressed with the way the actors worked the bare stage making my imagination take over and seeing an entirely different experience in my mind. The acting was superb! Luccio came in a little rough, but he really stole the show by the end of the post. Well done! I would recommend the theater, as it is a bucket list for many thespians and okay goers! What an incredible production. Unfortunately, I allowed the RSC website to pick my seats. I ended up in a straight high back chair where my legs dangled and I couldn't see the entire state and videos in the background. It probably helped me be distracted by the disrespect they were insinuating. I would never buy tickets with these seats again. Almost intolerable, so the acting and entire production overshadowed what I didn't care for. Next time, if I'm lucky enough to be back in Stratford Upon Avon, I would return. Tolerance and giving things a chance worked out for me. I also live Shakespeare and am a thespian at heart.

From week to week the events here do change so be sure to check the website for what's going on but you can expect drag shows from international queens and music from the likes of Ms Dynamite and Aqua?! Door price is usually around £10 but you can usually pick up cheaper advance ticket options. This place can be a seriously good night out and worth every penny :)
