    The Unlikely Candidates on stage
    Heather C.

This is a beautiful venue! We came here from Albuquerque to see The Unlikely Candidates and were blown away with how nice this venue is. The bar is well stocked with anything you could want, the bathrooms were clean, the stage was a good size, and the ambiance was great. I really loved the chandeliers. We didn't have any food so I can't give input on that front, but this is a great venue.

    Friday night steak dinner
    Lien R.

Luckily enough to find this hidden gem a few days ago and went back again last night for dinner with more friends. This is a private club that does require at least one person in your group to be a member. All 6 of us had steaks for dinner last night. Each steak was requested to be cooked at different temps. Me? I like mine a bit more "cooked and less pink". I'm gonna tell you, most cooks can't do that without turning a beautiful piece of meat into shoe leather. Chef here got every steak right! Huge slab of meat topped with a lot of perfectly cooked shrimp, delicious potatoes seasoned just right and the green beans cooked to perfection. Not soggy and not raw. Nice and crispy. Now, to the building. It's a very nicely renovated old warehouse. On my tour last night, I was told they repaired wagon wheels on one side and the bar/dining side was a parts store. When Covid isn't in full force, there's live music on stage. Out front is a wonderful patio for fresh air when it's nice out. The first night we came in, we were immediately greeted by Bo(sp), the bartender and Alice. The owner came over and gave us a lot of attention and made us feel so welcomed. Come To find out, we had been big supporters of their other location, Pecos Winery. On both nights, locals to the establishment came over and talked with us and made us welcomed. Would highly recommend this place for a few drinks and dinner.

    Artist for concert and venue

Here for concert. Easy to get to and park. Themed drinks were fun and delicious. Very close to the stage and fast service.

Herb roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, green beans with bacon and mushrooms, and spinach salad with candied pecans. Amaze.

The interior is surprisingly large with a spacious dining room to the right, more seating near the bar, and even an outdoor space that had live music when we went. Spicy Beef Nachos Appetizer: Chips topped with queso, green onions, jalapeños, black olives, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. My friend got this and I had a couple bites. Chips were not soggy and it was large enough to cover as his dinner. Green Chile Burger: Topped with monterey jack cheese and roasted chopped Chaves County-grown hot green chile. Served on a jalapeño bun with a side of our hot green chile sauce. Their signature burger and it tasted good. I don't need too much food but the amount of fries I got was too little even for me. Got two Johnny Walker Blacks with a splash of coke and they came well mixed and quickly. We did end up getting rained in and hilariously went back for a second dinner to wait out the rain. Black corn taquitos were OK, I would not get the fried shrimp basked again, the shrimp was too small and there was too much breading.

Because we arrived after the rush hours and after a huge call in order, many items on the menu were unavailable. We tried the brisket, ribs, brisket nachos, potato salad (unsweet), jalapeño sausage, and brisket sandwiches. Everything was delicious! We recommend the jalapeño sausage as they run out quickly. Kid menu items are available. They serve a coconut water sweet tea rather than regular sweet tea. Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The restaurant was clean.

Cold Grill…read more Restaurant and bar located inside the Holiday Inn Roswell that serves up decidedly American fare with a nice bar menu to accompany it. We only ate here because we were exhausted after a long day of traveling, and the convenience factor of it being inside our hotel trumped the less than superlative Yelp reviews. The Good: *Surprisingly, the food overall was very not bad (read edible). The fries were decent, and my Tuscan chicken sammich was not the worst thing I've had in my life *Local beers on-tap The Meh: * The actual menu changed quite a bit from the photos we found online. *Only open for breakfast and dinner. *Margarita was good but weak *Overall, our server was fine, but she did have a snarky reply to what time they officially opened as she was contradicting the sign they had in place. *Prices were a bit high for the area, but considering this place is here for convenience factor, then it makes sense. The Ugly: *Pub chips were a bit overcooked (i.e., burnt) TLDR: Maybe the low reviews gave us low expectations, but it wasn't terrible. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn, and you have the energy to go elsewhere, then by all means, do it. But, if you're exhausted and just want edible food, then this ain't a terrible option.

But the deal I made with my husband was if it was not edible, we would order pizza! Service was just ok. Kinda slow, even though not busy. But the food was fantastic, drinks too! We split the buffalo wing appetizer ($8.75) and the sliders appetizer ($8.75). The drinks we had were a Mexican mule and a lemon drop martini. Buffalo wings came with 6 (kinda high price IMO), and pub chips. Wings were a good size, had been baked, the flash fried. Good and tasty! Pub chips good to too. Came with ranch, celery and carrot sticks. Beef sliders had 3 to an order. Had cheddar cheese and bacon on them. Also came with pub chips. They didn't look great and first, but had a great taste to them! Drinks were nice. The only happy hour they had was Bud light and Coors light for $3. From 5-7pm. No apps on happy hour prices. You do have to ask for the 10% discount for staying there (show them room key). Only reason to take a star away was service.
