Good old working class Chicago bar. Baseball (probably the cubs unfortunately) on the tube, pool in the back. Classic Chicago tavern.

Thanks to the kindness of Moe, the GM along with a few of his crew members who changed our tire in drizzling rain. They were not deterred by the fact that our wheel key did not fit the locks on our car, they asked other Eden crew members to check their glove boxes for a wheel key. Thank you Moe and Team Eden for your kindness. Sometimes we forget how incredibly kind and generous the hospitality community truly is . And as for the food- best ever! I had the Soul and Smoke wood fired ham and cheese melt. Delicious! The Market Burgers are the best in the city! Chef Devon Quinn and his team are outstanding. You truly can't beat the freshness of ingredients used and the delightful flavors that the chefs curate so well. Today j had the chicken Caesar wrap with the Eden salad & my husband had the burger with French fries- both dishes were absolutely DEVINE and we both really enjoyed the use of oven roasted tomato on each dish. The burger was delightfully savory and bursting with flavor, the fries were the perfect level of crispy and not too salty! The Caesar wrap was fresh and light while still packed with flavors, the chicken was cooked perfectly and not over seasoned. The side salad was delicious and not too big with nice touch of sweetness from crisp apples and dried cranberries. My favorite part of our meal was the pear and almond danish we finished with. The pastry was so crispy and delicious, but not overly oily or buttery & the filling was not overly sweet and perfectly balanced. Service was fabulous as always. TRULY, they exceed all expectations, every single time.

At 4pm on a weekday it was already bustling, and this place is popular for good reason! The entire vibe and the staff are just super cool. Even the bathrooms are an experience, with heavy metal music blasting in a way that just adds to the unique charm. To drink, I tried the lucky linny and blood orange sour, which were both fantastic. I'm not typically a huge beer person, but after this visit I'm well on my way to crossing to the other side. For the appetizer, we split the cheese curds. I really liked the Korean inspired twist and the kimchi aioli served alongside. I think it could've used a little more salt and arrived warmer for a nice cheese pull, but otherwise it was enjoyable. I opted for the double cheeseburger as the main event, and it was really well done. The beef was juicy, perfectly cooked, with ample high quality cheese and caramelized onions. I think the sauce could've used an extra something, but overall it was a great burger. Great experience all around. Can't recommend highly enough and look forward to returning soon!

Got it. Boozy? Check. No complaints there. Most of their food is pretty good. Went yesterday and had their nachos which were great. Unfortunately their mac of the month sounded good before we got it. Mac and cheese with mushrooms and bacon sounds great. But when we got it, it not only didn't look good it was just weird and they really missed the boat with it. They added blue cheese to it for some reason which threw off the taste, had raw tomatoes on it which added to an already way too liquidy sauce, and the pasta was way overdone. It's a shame because their pimento mac with breadcrumb crust is great. I feel like they just tried to get too fancy with that one and also forgot that if you add piping hot sauce to done pasta, it keeps cooking it. That said, service was very good and we will come back...but we will be wary of the mac of the month.

The meal started strong with crispy, golden flatbread paired with creamy ricotta. The ricotta was silky and lightly tangy, topped with olive oil, shaved cheese, herbs, and a sweet-savory jam that added depth. The bread had that perfect crunch on the outside with a slight chew inside -- simple but elevated. The pasta was the star. Wide ribbons cooked perfectly al dente, coated in a rich, slow-simmered ragu that tasted deeply savory and comforting. The sauce clung beautifully to the noodles, and the generous sprinkle of parmesan tied everything together. It felt rustic but refined -- the kind of dish you keep going back for.

Nice place with unique pasta and cocktails. The beet agnolotti was my favorite. The onion dip was pretty good but not amazing. The ice cream sandwich was also good but not cold enough. The burger was juicy and the bun was soft; didn't feel like I had to unhinge my jaw just to get a bite like with some other burgers. The toppings for the burger paired harmoniously with the patties, with the pickles adding texture and bite. The fries paired with the burger were honestly whatever, but the spicy aoli paired with it elevated eating the fries. We also got an elote app to share. I did enjoy the cheese and corn and how warm and melty they were, but I think it could've gone without the avocado. The mac and cheese though, now that was absolutely delicious. It was gooey and soft, with the breadcrumbs and bacon adding texture and smokiness. The drinks I got, the sylvan and green eyes, were a little strong for me (I prefer sweeter), but nonetheless excellently mixed. If you like strong, classic flavors, these are for you.

Loved the 90s female R&B playlist they had going! Little Bad Wolf has been on my list FOR YEARS to try the burger! My husband got the burger with fried onions and I got some Bao because those also looked delicious and were a popular menu item. Honestly the 3 stars are only that high because of the service. Our server was friendly and attentive + the food came out hot and quick. Unfortunately, the food was pretty disappointing. The burger was swimming in a puddle of grease and just picking it up made your hands greasy + was dripping grease. The fries that came with it were floppy, soggy, and sad...but at least warm? I personally wouldn't order this again. The Bao were better, but small for the price and honestly were just okay? It was nice they gave you sauces you could add, but I found the Bao's to already have enough sauce so I didn't need them. Overall I left feeling confused and disappointed. I don't feel the need to come back here - Little Bad Will was a one and done experience for me.

Parked in front at 7:15 and walked in - was pretty dead on a Saturday. Sat at a table in the front windows and ordered a coffee and an apple juice. Ordered a breakfast burrito which comes with skillet potatoes. I liked the flavor of those. The burrito was great - egg, chorizo, avocado, and cheese. We split pancakes as well which were good and came with berries and cream. Really liked it here - the locations are 10-20min away from central CHI but the drive is worth it.

The cost was typical for Chicago, but felt a little high as the bill was $26 with tip and I drank water.

We'd heard good things about Lula Cafe, so we decided to pop over on a Saturday morning. It was just after 9:00 but the place was already hopping. After a short wait, we were shown to bar-type seating near the back of the restaurant. It was perfect. I can never say no to a breakfast burrito, so we decided to share their Classic Lula Breakfast Burrito ("avocado, tomato, potato, cheddar, green chile soffritto, and soft scrambled eggs") and holy moly was it ever good. Every ingredient was above average and placed with care, and I was impressed by the perfectly-cooked eggs. (There was nothing bouncy about these eggs, that's for sure.) Because we're pigs, we decided to also share the Lox Toast ("house cured organic salmon, gribiche, lula seeded rye") and it too was very, very good. Finally, we each got the Fruit Cup and somehow it was also amazing. The fruits were cut really well and there wasn't a bad bite to be had. Yeah, I can see why Lula Cafe is doing so well.
