    Absolutely horrible place. Do not live here. Not only is the management stealing money from…read moreresidents and committing fraud by trying to claim township property for River Park and then charging residents to park there, but the management is unreachable, leaves calls and emails unreturned or returned at their leisure, closes the office early for no apparent reason, is not even IN the office when it is open, raised the already sky high amenities fees, did not PROVIDE amenities that were paid for because they closed them for "renovations" that took seven months and are still not done, and offered absolutely no compensation or pro rate for amenities not provided. They have an "important documents" tab on the resident portal app that contains NO documents--it is supposed to at least contain the resident's lease, but does not. So if for any reason you need a copy of your lease, you will not be able to get it, will have to go in person because they do not answer phones, and then will have to hope there is an off chance that they are in the office when you get there. They are on a fast track to monetizing EVERYTHING, from mandating you pay $100 for cable and internet that the building is "under contract" for, to paying even for township street parking, to a fee they charge when you don't pick up your packages in a timely fashion, to REGISTERING for your packages to be received at the building. Management issues new policy like it's going out of style; every several weeks we are getting a "new policy" and "thank you for your cooperation" email. Meanwhile, no one is cooperating because Alliance Properties' management of the building is utterly ridiculous and they could not care less about their residents. People are catching on quickly and getting fed up. For that reason, they've had a record high rate of failed lease renewals, replaced by a mass exodus of current residents. Those that haven't left or are choosing to stay are digging their heels in to pick the fight with Allison (building manager) and Alliance Properties over these absurd and doomed to fail business practices. Save yourself. PS didn't mean to forget, you have to register a license plate, make and model of car, and first and last name of visitors, and retrieve a hang tag for guest parking...even if your mother is just coming for dinner for a few hours! If you don't comply, they threaten to tow. Crazy.

    One of the Worst Living Experiences I've Ever Had - Stay Away…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Living at this complex has been nothing short of a nightmare from day one. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others before they make the mistake of signing a lease here. INFESTATION ISSUES This place is infested. I'm talking mice, roaches, and all kinds of bugs -- and not just occasionally. It's a constant problem. I've woken up to mice running across my floors and seen roaches crawling across my kitchen counters and even into appliances. Despite multiple complaints and service requests, management has done next to nothing. Pest control, if they show up at all, is a temporary band-aid on a much larger issue. PLUMBING & STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS The plumbing is absolutely horrible. Leaky pipes, water backing up into sinks and tubs, and constant foul smells from the drains. I've had toilets overflow more than once with no urgency from maintenance to fix the issues. The water pressure is inconsistent, and hot water is not always available. NON-EXISTENT MAINTENANCE Getting any sort of maintenance help is nearly impossible. You can submit requests through the portal, leave voicemails, even walk into the office -- and still not get a response for days, sometimes weeks. When maintenance does come, the work is either half-done or they claim they "didn't find anything wrong." I've had to resort to fixing basic issues myself just to be able to live semi-comfortably. RUDE & UNHELPFUL MANAGEMENT The main office staff is not only unhelpful -- they're downright rude. Any time I've tried to raise a concern, I've been met with attitude, excuses, or just ignored. There's zero accountability, and it's clear that residents' concerns are not a priority. Instead of helping resolve issues, the staff gaslights tenants or blames them for the problems. GENERAL NEGLECT & LACK OF CARE The entire complex feels like it's been neglected for years. Common areas are dirty, trash often overflows from dumpsters, and lighting in parking lots is poor, which is a safety concern. Packages go missing regularly, and there's no secure system in place for deliveries. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT MOVE HERE. It might look okay during a quick tour, but don't be fooled. Behind the scenes, this complex is falling apart, and management doesn't care. Save yourself the stress, the health hazards, and the money. There are much better places to live -- this is not one of them.

Paper thin walls and my car was broken in the first month I moved there. Staff is completely disrespectful, so I would feel a burden asking them for anything. Avoid this place. I have never wrote a yelp review in my life until now hoping I save someone the issues.

    I have been living here for over a year and I have a lot of great things to mention about the staff…read more- Angelo( Super) who is dedicated to resolving any service request as quickly as possible. His friendly personality makes it easier to communicate in addition to his dedication to fix all issues. His wife Florinda is extremely helpful with any issues related to the apartment! Other staff members - Arnav(Concierge) always assists with delivery concerns or reaching out to the management. And lastly, Miriam - Property Manager goes above and beyond to resolve any service or billing related matters. The apartments are beautiful and spacious and the quiet area comes in handy when I have to work from home! Love staying here!

But I will exempt Somerville Parc because of how I've been treated and my great experience staying there. I lived in Somerville Parc for about a year. I would not have left if not only for my son's school location. There are a lot of positive things I can say about this place. The concierge is always available if I have questions or need help with repairs for my apartment. I love how secure the place is but at the same time easy access for deliveries. A very pet-friendly place. Which I love! But though I noticed a lot of dog owners, they still kept the surroundings clean. There's also an indoor dog park. Very useful especially if it's raining. The gym, though small, still has everything you need. It's also a nice area to run outdoors. I had a smooth move moving in and even a smoother move moving out. I got my security deposit within a month. Just amazing! If I need to be back in Jersey again and need a place to rent again, I will definitely go back to this place. And recommend it to anyone I know.

They have recently snuck in multiple additional charges onto our rent. We are now forced to pay for "amenities" and in order to use our garages that are attached to our residence we must pay an additional $75. These garages have no locking doors and lead directly into the units. These have always been considered part of our domicile until recently. DO NOT RENT HERE. THEY DO NOT MAINTAIN UNITS, THEY WILL SNEAK NEW CHARGES AND FEES. WHEN YOU CALL TO ASK ABOUT THESE AND TO REVIEW THE LEASE THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THESE DOCUMENTS

Good luck finding someone who doesn't lie. Nothing that comes out of these peoples mouth is the truth. I've dealt with 732 different people in this crappy corporation and not one has come through on anything. They raise rent and charge fees for amenities that aren't even available. Lived in this complex for 12 years, not one issue these "people" come along and it's been a complete nightmare!!! Allowed me to move into a filthy, rundown unit (after Mr Yitz Ostrow stated that everything that I mentioned needed to be done was part of the "turn process" turn process my ***), garbage is a constant issue, work orders go under answered (which may honestly be a blessing because when they do attempt to complete a work order, you would have wished you've done it yourself) Save yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere. Nothing positive about this community except for the people in it (residents).
