Happenstance! We…read morewere leaving a bakery in Caldwell and were driving down the boulevard when we discovered Mexico Chiquito Taqueria. I immediately flipped a U-Turn and parked in a parking space. I walked up to the brightly lit truck/ trailer and placed an order for a Carne Asada burrito - It was $14.00 - seemed a spendy at the time but everything is more expensive now. I was handled a beeper pager and went back to my car and practiced some DuoLingo. About 10 minutes later, the beeper started beeping and I walked back to the trailer. The team was so nice. We chatted about different salsas and the weather. I noticed how hefty the weight of the to go container as I walked back to the car. I passed the order to my wife who was very surprised as to how heavy it was. She opened it to to go container and was stunned to see not a burrito but a log that looked like a burrito. This burrito was one of the largest burritos I have ever seen. Massive is an understatement. Obviously, she didn't finish it in the car and honestly, it took her three days to finish it. I wish I had turned on the lighting in the car to take a picture of this log of a burrito but didn't get a chance. It just means that we will have to go back.

The birria & carnitas tacos were definitely the standout, super flavorful and easily my favorite of the bunch. They came with consommé, which was flavorful, but the consistency is a little different than what I'm used to at other spots. The al pastor and carne asada both had really good flavor as well. The meat leaned a bit more cooked/harder than I personally prefer, but still very tasty. One thing that caught me off guard was not seeing options for sides or add-ons like grilled onions, rice, or refried beans, which I usually see offered. It just felt a little different from what I'm used to, but the tacos themselves carried the meal. Prices were slightly on the higher side, and the wait was a bit longer than usual, but they were clearly busy and working through a lot of orders, so it's understandable. Overall, a good spot with flavorful tacos -- especially the birria, which I'd absolutely order again.

We loved every drink we ordered but especially loved the Happy Camper, Founder, and Mango Freeze. The Happy Camper had root beer, toasted marshmallow, and half & half. It's refreshing and creamy at the same time! The Founder is the original dirty soda with Diet Coke, coconut, fresh lime, and coconut cream. The Mango Freeze is fruity and refreshing. We don't have a Swig near us in Los Angeles - so we each ordered 2 drinks. Can't wait to have Swig again!

When ordering I was told about a special promotion they were having if you ordered a 44 ounce drink. I usually never order that size, but decided to since I could get a free item. I had a coupon for a free drink, but was told I couldn't use it with the promotion they were having (which is understandable). I paid for our drinks and drove up to the window. I asked for the free item after I got our drinks and the cashier said, "oh sorry we are sold out." I was a little confused since I was just told about the promotion, ordered and paid for a huge drink I didn't necessarily want, and I wasn't able to use my coupon. Minor inconvenience, but still a little confusing and upsetting especially since they showed zero concern of making things right. However, I am sure I will return, I still need to use my coupon

While some flavors are the standard flavors you'd expect, they also have lots of unique options. You're able to choose between cup and cone as well as adding in a cookie or brownie. The other person there was great though! I was drawn in by the array of unique flavors and vegan options. I had really wanted to get something boozy and vegan, but they only had one flavor on at the moment that fit the bill and I wasn't particularly interested, so I sampled a few of the dairy boozy flavors and went with a vegan non-boozy ice cream for my actual order because a full scoop of dairy ice cream does not sit right in my stomach. I liked the boozy flavors more but that was only because of the flavors offered - the vegan ice cream itself was great, very smooth and creamy, not overly sugary. I got the float season vegan ice cream: blackberry ice cream with salted dark chocolate. I did still enjoy this flavor a lot. I really liked the crunchy bittersweet dark chocolate bits. I didn't get anything to drink but I was kind of tempted. The ice cream + beer or wine flights looked interesting. I don't know wine well enough to comment, but it looked like they had a good selection of beer with quality brewers and a good variety of beer types. This is technically a Warehouse Food Hall vendor but it's only accessible from the street outside the food hall. I wasted a few minutes wandering around the food hall trying to find it before I looked outside. They have a fair amount of seating inside and outside.
