The other person there was great though! I was drawn in by the array of unique flavors and vegan options. I had really wanted to get something boozy and vegan, but they only had one flavor on at the moment that fit the bill and I wasn't particularly interested, so I sampled a few of the dairy boozy flavors and went with a vegan non-boozy ice cream for my actual order because a full scoop of dairy ice cream does not sit right in my stomach. I liked the boozy flavors more but that was only because of the flavors offered - the vegan ice cream itself was great, very smooth and creamy, not overly sugary. I got the float season vegan ice cream: blackberry ice cream with salted dark chocolate. I did still enjoy this flavor a lot. I really liked the crunchy bittersweet dark chocolate bits. I didn't get anything to drink but I was kind of tempted. The ice cream + beer or wine flights looked interesting. I don't know wine well enough to comment, but it looked like they had a good selection of beer with quality brewers and a good variety of beer types. This is technically a Warehouse Food Hall vendor but it's only accessible from the street outside the food hall. I wasted a few minutes wandering around the food hall trying to find it before I looked outside. They have a fair amount of seating inside and outside.

There is a certain appeal to this store that you cannot shirk from. Not only do they sell ice cream, candy, fountain drinks, and popcorn, they also sell Stuffed animals and letters/cards. It's a throwback to the days I never got to experience. To make it even better, it's only a short steps away from a small but interesting toy store next door! Their dark chocolate caramels are some of my favorites, and the malts are always delicious. The staff is consistently kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. While the ice cream can be a little icier and not quite as creamy as some of our other favorite spots in town, we still love coming here. Sitting under the big trees with ice cream in hand is part of the charm, and it keeps us coming back to sit on the patio with our ice cream.

The gal that was helping me today wasn't rude but wasn't nice, she was just there. She asked me my basic questions. What size? What flavor? Any toppings? Anything else? It was such a different experience from the first time when I came in. The caramel flavor was good. It didn't really taste like caramel to me but it was still tasty. Considering there was no dairy in it, it was pretty impressive. I didn't add any fun toppings this time around but I'll have to add some next time! They have quite a few to pick from! Such a bummer since they have so many other flavors to accommodate their drink list. Doesn't give sugar free drinkers many drink options. So, I ordered a custom dirty soda of diet Dr. Pepper with sugar free vanilla and cream. I also ordered a kid's size of chocolate and vanilla swirl custard too. We first tied on the 26th of December but the sign said it was closed for the day. Last night, the 28th, we tried again since store hours said it would close at 8. We arrived 15 minutes before closing, after spending 15 minutes looking for parking. When we got to the door it was closed, even though the sign clearly said closing was at 8pm. My wife pulled on the door to see if it was open and that maybe thr place was just preparing to close to get out as soon as they could after 8. Door was locked, and the employee ran to the back (trying to hide I guess). A closing early sign was have been dissapointing and frustrating but having a worker being there and running away is insulting. Makes one wonder how seriously they take their job in other areas of preparation/handling of the ice cream.

I don't recall all of the flavors but the dairy and the cream flavor really stand out for quality and consistency. I love ice cream in which you can really taste the flavor profiles of the dairy and it doesn't have to be masked by too much sugar. I also applaud the owner that is bringing so much creativity. My whole family enjoys the craftsmanship of your ice cream. It's a nice consistency, never overly sweet, and perfectly balanced giving nostalgia of a mix of old fashioned style technique and modern technique without seeming trendy. I live in Seattle and this balance is really hard to find. Customer service is exceptional and the staff add hard working.
