Wow!!! What an awesome store for kids of all ages!We went in to peruse a bit, see the amazing displays and play with legos for a bit. Little did we know that we'd ALL enjoy the place. There is something to entertain everyone. There were two things I'd be remiss I'd I didn't share. One is the staff. Wayne and Anthony are two of the greatest employees and truly made everyone feel not just comfortable but fully engaged in the experience. While there they joined us in building LEGO's, showed us the latest items and gave us tips/ tricks. They greeted and engaged every customer and ensured everyone experience was fun. I cannot say enough great things about these two!!! The other is the pick three that is available in the store. The cost was $9.00 and you're able to build three legos. It's SUPER fun and such a great idea. It gives everyone an opportunity to get a little something at a reasonable price. I highly recommend stopping in the store and letting your little one enjoy the store and all it has to offer.

I'm shocked and appalled that the Lego Store in Houston has been open for about a week and no one has Yelped it yet! I went to check-in yesterday and no business was found, so here I am to announce to the world how lucky Houston is! (The official grand opening will be this weekend March 26-28!) The Lego Store is just like the Apple Store. . .but with Legos. Literally. They have the door greeters, walls filled with goodies that are easily categorized, and computer centers for kids to play while the adults shop. And yes, you will shop for yourself even if you're an adult. (I walked away with an AWESOME Guggenheim set that I completed the moment I got home!) They have all the oldies but goldies with the original Lego tubs for the nostalgic people. Then they have the boxed sets for kids based on age groups. Then they have the Holy Grail of Awesomeness--the Star Wars section. I fully plan on buying the $400+ Millennium Falcon set that is over 7000 pieces big. Oh yes, embrace the nerdiness. There's a bunch of cheaper stuff available as well--including key chains and Lego salt & pepper shakers. Definitely stop in and re-live your childhood!

Heard about the opening weekend so I decided to check it out as I grew up a fan of Legos. This place was mobbed, which I guess is a good thing. It's nice to see kids excited about legos in a world of computers and tech. Because it was so crowded I wasn't really able to look around. Since the store isn't huge and there were so many people it was getting hot inside, quick. I wasn't able to scope out the prices, which have always been a problem with me for a while. I would love the Millennium Falcon set but it usually goes for 500 bucks...which I don't have the money to spend on legos. Most of the good sets are at least 50-100 bucks. But I guess it ranks up their with a new video game and I would probably want my child to use their imagination and be money well spent. They were also building an eight foot R2-D2 which you could sign up and help out with. Overall I'm excited to recheck this place out on a week day afternoon.

I'm glad I was only able to visit this store while on a business trip, otherwise I would have surely gone back and bought something expensive. The staff was extremely friendly and are clearly big fans of Lego, and they didn't make me feel like a 27 year old loser trying to buy back some childhood memories. Store was a little on the small size, but this is the only one I've been to, so I don't know how it compares to other stores around the country. If only these stores were around when I was younger.

I brought my friend who is a big anime lover and the moment we went inside, his face lit up like a small boy in a toy store...i mean it's not that far fetched lol! he instantly left my side and i knew this place was definitely a comeback! i am not sure of what all he seen but i took pictures of my favorite things i was very interested in! ESPECIALLY the Heavy Metal vintage 1970 comic books. I'm sure the value of those magazines where literally a lot of in one of the employees opinions, "PRICELESS." I agree.LIKE WHAAAAAT! only had three because one donor donated loads of things and these were the only comics they donated, so if you have some old comics lying around, come to Misfit Toys and donate them, i would love to take them off of you! my favorite thing about this store (besides the comics) was the figures. The Simpsons was such a vibeeee! I literally wanted all of them and the backdrops! Also, the Michael Myers collectors doll with all the matching pieces....would be the perfect gift for anyone who is an obsessed fan of Halloween or just horror genre in general. I also loved the arcade game machine in the front right before you open the door :) such a throwback 80s/90s feel! Not sure what game is on the Arcade machine, but it works perfectly! I hope my pictures do justice, I can always upload the rest I have but here's a few :) It's so much more inside that I'm pretty sure i missed, but from The X-Files to Star Wars and even HUGE Transformers toys, it was so much that caught my eye, I can't keep up! experience Misfit Toys at least once! You won't regret it!
