Very well designed golf course with challenging greens. The course wanders through a very nice neighborhood with water in play on several holes. I really enjoy the food and drinks with fun friendly service. Newer golf carts and good friendly cart personal. The club has gone private lately and getting good tee times is not a problem. It's not public anymore. I drove out there and got in through the gates no problem because they were open but when I parked I noticed signs saying they weren't reliable for theft which made total sense at the time but upon asking for a bucket to go to the range I was told they're "recently private" ... I've been playing golf for over 25 years and I've never dealt with a rude response like that. Also if you're private maybe up your security so the average dick and Nancy can't just pull into the parking lot that you're not responsible for. Place has got even worse.. in the heart of "prime golf" The greens are concrete, the cook is also terrible lately, fry's come out unsalted and over cooked and the burger from the menu comes without the correct toppings.. it's literally the menu item, how do you screw that up.. the burgers are also cooked different lately they taste terrible and have given me stomach issues.. 100 % steer clear of this place until the dbag mark and his crew all get fired like the last 3 people.. last week there was a full schedule and a frost delay and mark was the starter and was allowing whiny member go out in 2 and 3 somes instead of adding 1-2 golfers and start catching up.. not intelligent.. can't believe a I was considering joining this joke of a country club.. don't waste your money here.. gcu cost less with a city card and has way better course, service and food.. read more

This is a very pretty course and for Summer conditions was in pretty good shape. The greens however were not in good shape; extremely bumpy. This is a challenging course with lots of bunkers protecting the greens on the front and both sides. You are not going to roll anything up onto these greens so take an extra club. read more

This use to be one of my favorite courses since I'm local to the area and they had reasonable tee times for the course condition. I've noticed recently that the tee times are absolutely ridiculously priced. I'm not sure if they are trying to keep the public off since they were going to go "members only". Listen i fully understand the prices of tee times go crazy during the cooler seasons but I've noticed a substantial difference with this course. Literally could go play at trilogy in Vistancia for cheaper (1000x better course and conditions) which i did by the way. I wouldn't be that turned off about the influx and pricing, but the course condition has literally worsened as the price rose. I mean an afternoon teatime is still 70 dollars. Figure it out legends, your no TPC or Gray-hawk. Wasn't surprised to see the low rating after my experience and how it's changed so quickly in 2 years. Stay away from this course, there is tons of better options 10-15 minutes away that won't change overcharge you. read more

on first hole one of our group's golf cart lost battery power and had to sit and wait for them to bring another one. Then, after 11 holes another cart had a flat tire. We called and were told it would be a few minutes. Half an hour later we called again and were told it would still be a while. We decided to leave without playing any more and they wouldn't give any refund. They did say they could give 9 hole credit for a future time, but after the wonderful experience we didn't want that!!! I'm have mixed feelings about this course. The course it self overall was pretty nice, the staff and value was "sub par"... It started off like this, my party walks into the clubhouse and we aren't greeted or treated like a valued customer. The dude behind the counter asks, "what do you need?" Like seriously?? Why else would we be here??? The guys Jack assery did not end there, I had to ask a thousand questions about where to get carts, food, bathrooms, where the 1st tee was. He as all around a giant waste of an employee and a horrible first impression "of such an illustrious course" The rest of the day was infuriating as well. It had rained 2 days prior and upon starting out everything was soft and wet and we were directed to stay on paths. Well you know Phoenix, after an hour or 2 of Sun everything dried up really well. But we had to stay on the paths and walk across for our ball everytime. Needless to say it took forever. The had this obnoxious marshal that kept circling and couldn't stop pestering about the carts on path, even if we were in a narrow areA and had to pass or the ground was hard and dry. To top it off one of the carts died. Took the club house 15 minutes to drop off a new one. And yup, you guessed it, that annoying marshall was expecting us to keep up with the party ahead of us and wanted us to leave part of our party. Idiot... Terrible customer service over all was trash, definitely NOT worth the money, overpriced for sure. read more

Course is in great condition... the lunch menu could be better for their Prime customers. Staff is excellent. The marshal makes sure pace of play is going with the slower groups. read more

I love the course layout , yesterday they still charged us 78 with the arcis card. The group in front did not show . The greens were in horrible shape with no mention by the team . The ranger also pushed us along we finished in 4 hrs and 10 minutes on a hot day. We had to stop the cart girl to get ice and drinks read more

How disappointing, how can you charge $50 for a course in this condition. Greens are crap or wait that's what you see all over the course from the Geese. Sandtraps are like concrete. Golf carts are dirty and its a 105+ degrees out and there is no water on the course or beverage cart. The course looks like they haven't had grounds keepers since pre COVID. You are happy to take everyone's money and won't reinvest in the course. Definitely will not be back, if you read this post find another course you are guaranteed to have better results. read more

Each time that I have played this course my round was delayed at least 30 minutes due to the cart batteries being low. The time of play was around 2-3pm. The course does not give you a heads up about the cart situation so you will be left at the course waiting. For the price, I would say that there are better courses in the area. read more

played here for 5+years and yes the course was in some disarray, but the staff at the time was amazing, fast forward to now and its run by a bunch of low class d bags, they actually banned my buddy when he asked for a manager because of the rude hispanic bartender that no longer works there either but the gm at the time i believe antwan or however you spell it his name was some heavyset guy that had the personality of a wet paper bag, came out and instead of trying to see what was wrong actually escelated the issue by being extremely rude, then kicked us out for and didnt give us our food that we paid for. what a crook... hes not there anymore imagine that.. we played there again and the only thing good on the course is the bunkers lol what a weird thing to say right? take you money elsewhere looks like arcis strikes again with turning a great course into a overpriced dog track with rude dbags that run it.. took my business to a course down the street who is now offering membership for less than arrowhead and has 3 courses within 3 miles of each other.. they need improvement but at least the acknowledge it there.. read more

Their computers were down, the staff did their best to accommodate us, but I was surprised that the pro shop staff had no idea how much it cost for a round, and would take our credit card and charge it when they came back up. It wasn't a good impression. read more

Not sure where to begin on this update. Well here it goes. The driving range turf is non existent you might be able to find a small area in each stall to hit from. The balls are old and worn many take off and drop or turn abruptly from being damaged. The tee boxes on many holes are okay. The fairways are over watered and very wet tee shots in the middle of the fairway plug. Approach areas are very wet and shots do not release they plug. The greens on many hole are invested with ball marks, not totally the courses fault golfers do not fix ball marks. There are many bunkers with very little to no sand, that's probably why many bunkers have no rakes. The course should purchase ball repair tools and give one out with each round played. The good is the staff except for a couple of guys the Tuesday afternoon cashier and Wednesday am starter Joe must hate his job he is never in a good mood.The rest of the team is fantastic a shout out to Dave, Brian, Tony and Kieth in the pro shop and Lyndsay in the snack shop, Lee on the bev cart and cart corral guys. I love the course layout and the location but please increase the maintenance budget and stop watering the turf. read more

I'm so disappointed. We drove an hour to this course today because it WAS my favorite course of all the Arcis. We had 3 prime members and my daughter (a junior). They refused to give her the junior rate and charged her $70!!! When we pay so much a month for membership and only pay $40 ourselves. Are you kidding?!?! Never again!! If you can't value your members and charge a kid up the wazoo and disrespect us like that we're never coming back! Great customer service! Don't let their two star review fool you, this is worthy of a one star nothing more. The fairways and "rough" (where I spend a lot of time) were in just horrible condition. There were 100's of geese all throughout the course so if you were anywhere near water it was so covered in bird droppings that you literally couldn't take a step w/out stepping in them. They didn't maintain a decent speed with the golfers so this was over a 5 hour round because we just sat and waited to hit so often. Hard pass from here on out. read more

Another awesome experience at this ARCIS golf course. Took my dad out and received great service from Tyler in the pro shop and Ron has the starter. Carts are clean, services was nice, course was beautiful and the surroundings are phenomenal. I don't know how this course only has a two-star rating on here. read more

The course has recently remodeled. The course is in great shape. It was 90 degrees . There is sand in the traps light and fluffy. The greens were smooth and got faster as we played. They removed a lot of traps and trees it made the course more playable. Amazing that their T-times are spaced 7 minutes apart, obviously for more revenue. I will never be back after wasting a Sunday waiting on EVERY SHOT all because you believe it will increase your bottom line. We played today, July 3, 2023. The course has gone downhill from the last time we played there. The greens were the worst we've played this summer with many bare spots. The bunkers were great when they renewed the course, but they have not been maintained well. The facilities have improved. The restrooms are cleaner and most things work now, but this course is well below the standard of public courses in the area in their price range. read more

The course is pretty decent. The superintendent does a good job besides poor customer service. The outside staff(Terry, Brian, Jacob) are really good. Arcis has gems in them who whom they 100% underpay. (I was an Arcis employee I know the game) The neighborhood treats the course like a park. Lots of people walking dogs, riding bikes, teaching kids how to ride bikes on greens, walking on strolls in the "park". It is not at the fault of any of the staff but Arcis. They understaff and continue to be as cheap as possible. The course is much better than Arrowhead across the freeway, unfortunately there isn't a membership just for Legends. I wish I could be a Legends member and not associated with arrowhead. I don't want to have to pay for that crap "country club" with an awful course, vintage gym, unplayable tennis and pickle ball courts, and a lap pool they try to make resort style. read more

Nobody answers the phone, the range hours are not listed on their website. A small bag of balls for $5 is the smallest bag I've seen. They just don't seem to care about their customers at all. Seriously! Put your range hours on your dang website! read more

Constantly over books and no marshall in sight. Finished 18 holes in 6 hours. Poor management.

Played early, 6:48, to beat the heat. Didn't help. 108 when we finished at 11:15. Off season price is amazing, $21 for 18 with cart. A lot more water on course than I would have imagined in the desert. Some tight fairways through the houses and interesting, undulating greens. Great staff from the club house, to snack bar, to cart barn and on the course drink cart. Wonderful experience. read more

I signed up for Arcis in August at $79 per month for 12 months. I just noticed that they started charging me $106 per month without any notice and contrary to the terms I agreed to when I signed up. I was told that they simply decided to change the price for everyone and are no longer honoring the original agreement I signed. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I am strongly considering canceling my membership and my wife's. A company that is willing to charge more than the agreed amount without any notice is not the kind of company I want to do business with read more

Played this course not long ago for the first and last time. It wasn't an enjoyable experience, one of the worse courses I've ever played. The guy at the check in was rude and acted like he didn't want to be there. The greens were in terrible shape with lots of brown burnt grass. The sand in the bunkers was like concrete. The fairways are lined with houses right on top of them. It was like playing in someone's back yard. As if that wasn't bad enough the damn marshal wouldn't leave us alone. We were playing at a decent speed but he kept telling us to go faster. He was so obnoxious we decided to quit after the 15th hole, it just wasn't worth the hassle he was giving us. Updating to two stars. Played three times this week. On Tuesday they teed off two twosomes in a row. Obviously friends of the course do my tee time was pushed back. Thursday they put a twosome ahead of us again and we were again late. It was getting dark so we asked if we could play along as our third left due to slow play. They said no. Today they were 40 minutes behind and I write this entire review. Note at this word the group ahead of us finally teed off. It's ridiculous and not a ranger on the course. Brutal. 5.5 hours and still didn't finish. Im done here. No grass to speak of at the range. Range balls need replacement. Course bunkers rock hard, not maintained. At one point three groups were waiting at the sixth tee box waiting so i called the pro shop to let them know. "Players assistant " rolled up and stated there was "nothing i can do". Ugh.
