Had a great fitting at the Westgate location for new fairway woods. They replaced my 5 and 3 woods with an 11 wood, 7 wood and 4 wood, and got great results. My fairway woods are going further and straighter, helping me big time on longer holes. After a 22 year hiatus I decided to start playing golf in early 2024. After sticking with it I decided that I would get fitted for some new clubs. The only time I was fitted was in 1999, and that was just hitting balls, measurements, and picking clubs/grips with the fitter. After about two months of deciding between different options, I saw many reviews on YouTube, TikTok, and anywhere else you could think of and I decided on PXG. Obviously the technology is a game changer, but this was the most educational golf experience I have had. First off, Zachary, club fitter, knows what will work and what won't work with your swing. He gives you tips and instruction during the entire fitting and after the fitting I used those tips with my own clubs. The difference was night and day. I opted to pick up my clubs from the Scottsdale location. They will send you confirmation that parts of your order will be ready for pick up. I had my fitting on Saturday and clubs were ready by Wednesday! Quick turn around, but this will certainly be dependent on orders. Took the new clubs straight to the driving range. Got the full bag experience and opted for the black ops. Hitting the driver at least 15 yards farther and hitting a 7 wood as far as my old 5 wood. Fabulous experience. Matthew was my fitter and he spent quite some time with me to customize my swing to these marvelous clubs. The delivery guy a little messed up, but guess what? They made it right and rushed it for me and the clubs arrived. Alec and the manager were both helpful to bro g this club fitting and buying experience home, and that they did. Poor fitting and even worse customer service! Went in for a fitting at Westgate and they fit me in a completely wrong iron setup - 70g graphite shaft 1 degree upright. Sure enough, I couldn't hit the clubs outside on the range or course. Went to PXG Scottsdale location and they fit me with a 105g STEEL shaft 3 degrees flat. Completely different! I returned my clubs, but they refuse to waive the 10% restocking fee (and my fitting fee) even though they acknowledge it was a very bad fitting. So much for great PXG customer service! They've lost a customer for life. read more

The last time I bought a new set of clubs was in the mid-eighties. Over the years I added a few woods and putters. I have golfed more in the last year since moving to Phoenix, then in the last 20 years. My golfing buddies all said new clubs would improve my game. A few even said to get a fitting. WOW!!!!! Was I ever impressed and amazed. I called in the early afternoon to set up a fitting with Westgate PXG. I was in a bay later that afternoon. Nick was wonderful, knowledgeable, empathetic and very easy to work with. Working with me, he set me up in a Gen 5 full bag set. I had planned on getting 14 clubs to begin with. Absolutely no pressure to buy. Different shafts, different heads, different grips, different weights. All for the betterment of my game. Who knew what a few extra grams of weight in the right place could do. The difference in 30 years of technology, that's who... and Nick/PXG The Trackman, which I am in total awe of, showed my increased distance, trajectory, carry and roll out. From it, Nick was able to dial in the best setup for my game. Even the putter selection uses Trackman. Clubs should be ready in a few days. Looking forward to getting out on the driving range to learn my "new" distances, then heading to the course. I was very impressed with all the personnel at Westgate PXG. I have to say I have never thought about a custom set of golf clubs until this year. My son and I decided to stop by PXG Westgate to look around after seeing there promotional adds. We could not have been more pleased by the service of the two ladies at the front counter after we left we talked about how great the service was. That was what sold me on going back for a fitting. 0 stars I purchased a driver from PXG. The shaft is for a man. I'm a woman in my 60's and there is not enough flex in the shaft. I drove to PXG and told them the issue. Had to make a appointment. The gentleman at the front desk said we will take care of it. Went to my appointment today. They want me to buy a new shaft. I purchased the driver September 2022. Cold winter, had to return to my home state mother not well. Dislocated my shoulder etc. told them all of this & they did not care. I would recommend you are more educated than me on what your buying. I thought that's what they were trained for? But they will sell you anything to make a buck! A new shaft will cost me what I payed for the club. read more

Group of us came in to shop (February 5, 2022) - older employee stated we needed to leave because they had fittings. Employee stated fittings weren't scheduled at that time - but the putting area was for only paying customers. DISCRIMINATION at its finest. This employee had no idea we were part of a 30 person group ranging from 30-75. The younger adults were asked to leave however the older people in our group were able to stay and they assumed the younger people, weren't there to buy anything. Customer service was nonexistent by this employee - never asked if we needed help in the first place. Keep in mind we had stuff in hand to buy - 3 putters and my husband was at the front desk wanting to purchase $1,400 set of irons from Bryan. Bryan and Porter were very helpful and professional - unfortunately there fellow older employee cost them sales. It's 2022, this gentleman needs to realize the golf crowd has become younger. His entire stores products are targeted for younger people. read more

We went to west gate for a date day. Went into PXG because my significant other is an avid golfer. He's actually one of the best golfers I've ever seen. His set is an immaculate, well maintained and expensive set. We walked into this place to see what they had. I had to use the restroom. We walked in and asked "where's your restroom" to which this short guy replied "it's for customers only" in a rather condescending voice. My S/O asked, "so we have to buy something?" He replied with rude undertones, "there's public restrooms around the corner". We continued to browse when this tiny man said, "oh that place is off limits". I said, "baby let's go" and I looked him in the face and said, "you're extremely rude". We are business owners, have a beautiful home and also have seven children. Perhaps we do not look like the typical "upper class white family". This man lost good customers and all of our friends/employees for life. PGX is an utter disappointment and clearly only services the people who look a certain way. This place is racist and classless. Thanks for showing your true colors. read more

Michael, the Manager at Westgate recently went above and beyond when it comes to customer service for me. My wife bought me a new polo and golf balls for Father's Day. When I tried it on, it fit completely different (better) than the same size shirt that I had bought previously that was beyond the normal return/exchange policy. I only wore that shirt once because it draped and was long. I took it in and he politely and professionally explained that the material was different now along with the snap buttons. He explained, that the fit is different based on the material. He also explained the return policy. Needless to say, he cared about my happiness and loyalty to PXG and was able to figure a way that we both won. He could have easily said sorry, it's our policy and you're out of luck. He got a new shirt shipped out, called me the next day and offered to ship it to me in time for me to take it to a golf trip to Bend Oregon. Instead, I drove over and picked it up. I want to recognize Michael for his excellent customer service. Not simply because I was able to exchange the shirt, but his commitment to customer service for the entire process and his follow up. This PXG location is not only convenient but the customer service is top notch. From the guys fitting you to the manager. They have already taken good care of us with anything we have needed. Very knowledgeable. If you have any questions they have answered them. With golf you have to ask questions and what's best for you and each individual golfer. We recommend you go in and chat with them and get a fitting and go through the whole experience. You won't regret it. Just left this location after walking in not expecting to leave with a new driver today. Low and behold I purchased a Gen4. Everyone at the store was super friendly and helpful. I got fitted by Clayton and I got to say he is 100% the reason I made the purchase today, he's great at his job. Clayton spent 90mins with me trying different shafts, tweaking and tinkering with said shafts. He talked to me like a human being and not like a dollar sign, and by no means made me feel pressured into buying something I wasn't comfortable with. If there were more stars to give, I'd give it, unfortunately I had to bring in a damaged club in hopes that they could fix it. From the minute we walked in the customer service was above and beyond. Our first encounter was actually before we arrived as we couldn't find the store, Scott guided us in as it was confusing on where it was at in West Gate (FYI if you have to go it's next to the Yard house). We were greeted by a Zach who took great care of our needs, though my club needed to be sent out to fix I have confidence that not only will my club be fixed but it will be done right the first time. As I was waiting for the paperwork to be completed, I noticed that the customer care was spread to everyone that was in the store as NO BODY was left unnoticed, they allow those to shop yet are there when questions arose. Mark the Gen. manager also was welcoming and very much attentive to the quality of his store/and employees, you know when people love there jobs they go above and beyond to help customers.
