What can I say about this company? THEY ARE AMAZING. I had my eyes set on a CLOUD couch from a very well know brand. The issue was the build quality, considering the sofa would cost over 20,000 new. The frame wasn't solid wood and the leather felt cheap. So our search for a new couch begin. I stumbled into leather sofa co on a Saturday morning and was quickly greeted by Carl N. He was awesome from day 1. I gave him a run down of what we were looking for and he had some wonderful suggestions. Carl stayed patient with me over the 2 month period it took me to decide and kindly answered the 100s of questions I annoyed him with. He helped me choose the right size and quality of leather that would be durable and withstand my active German shepherd puppy archie! Our sofa arrived a few months ago and I couldn't be more impressed. The craftsmanship is evident from the minute it's unwrapped and the smell is incredible!!! My husband and I wanted a fairly specific/odd-sized leather couch. We went to The Leather Sofa Co. as a starting point, because it seemed obvious. Well, we didn't end up shopping anywhere else. Jamie, our sales person, was knowledgeable, courteous, and not at all pushy. He explained that anything can be customized to suit our needs, and also what the price points and qualities of the different leather were. He was honest and forthright, and didn't try to sell us anything more expensive than we needed. This place is NOT inexpensive, but he didn't try to sell us on any unnecessary upgrades. Our sofa was delivered on time, and the delivery folks called beforehand to make sure we were home. The sofa is GORGEOUS, and exactly what we wanted. Super high quality, with details we didn't even notice at the store (cushions being securely fastened to the back of the couch, etc.). Beware Despite the various levels of leather they advertise you can pick the best one and they're just going to put in and put on your couch whatever is cheaper for them don't spend the $10,500 like I did go somewhere that's not going to advertise the highest in leather but only to get your couch and compare it to what you know you spent $2000 on at other stores and the material is nearly identical I can already tell after having this couch for less than a week that it's not going to hold up again do not $10,000 $5000 $6000 on the stuff that apparently has six or seven times profit in it than it should Update. This guys don't give a rip about you. They want the money. Before you buy contact me and cover over to my home and look what 1 year looks like I have had 4 people come over and then not buy. Mitch, you old dog you, trying to use the old excuse that the customer must have done something to make your product so crappy. Nice try, but you only proved my point that you do not stand behind your products or even attempt to help when there is a problem. I assure you that I did not put pool water or cleaning chemicals on much new $6,700 couch. Also, it would take my dog 20 years (that's people years) to produce enough saliva to cover the entire surface of my couch. Strange that I have had another leather couch for over 15 years and the color has not worn off at all. The fact of the matter is the finish on the couch you sold me was defective and started to wear off immediately with normal use and you did not lift a finger to investigate or help. The best decision I have made in a long time! I am recently divorced. He got the sofa. So what did I do??? I got a new custom-made leather sofa that I like. Jamie, helped me pick a sofa design that totally fit my personality and my budget. It was custom-made to fit my new family room. I never felt pressured during the buying process. Plus, Jamie kept me updated regarding progress at their factory and even let me know that my sofa was going to be delievered a week early. So two reviews for two different stores: The first review is a 1-star for the Inwood Road Store: Jamie is a great salesman and was easy to work with. We picked out a couch, chair and ottoman and left the store to discuss before returning to purchase. When we came back and I began negotiating a final price, the other salesman, Carl I believe, began murmuring to Jamie about how he couldn't get close to the price and who did we think we were coming back and negotiating, as well as the fact that he thought we were delusional. I would have stayed and negotiated further with Jamie but after hearing the other comments made by Carl I really did not want to remain in the store. The second review is a 5-star review for the store on Grapevine Mills Parkway. I loved the couch and chair I had picked out the day before and happened to pass by the Grapevine location and decided to give a different store a chance. Jocelyn and Rob were a pleasure to work with and made me feel a lot better about my decision to purchase furniture from the Leather Sofa Co. No sniping comments when trying to make a deal, just a fair negotiation and a pleasant buying experience. Now the only issue is having to wait for the custom pieces to be made, but hopefully as they say quality takes time (plus my leather was on order) which is OK with me as long as I can enjoy my new purchases for many years. Disappointing experience. Salesman was extremely rude when I attempted to use a 10% off coupon. Coupon had no disclaimer but was Not honored even though he said he sometimes allows the On sale items. Corporate lady was very polite but company needs a policy where they don't just randomly decide when they honor their promotions. read more

If I could fill my home with these products I would! I recently purchased my second sofa set! This is a wonderful product. 5 years ago I swore to never buy furniture from the big name stores ever again. Why pay the middle man for an inferior product? After bringing home my 2nd set, just had to get my cushions refilled on the 1st one! After getting my upper and lower cushions replaced, my sofa returned to its original sitting condition. This extends the life of the product, and saves the consumer money on the front and back end. This is a great family with great customer service! Mly sofa is 5 years old and comfortable. However, I was told the leather was dyed through-- which means - it is not surfaced dyed. The cushions are dyed through but the rest of the sofa is not. This picture is a 'walk- through area where clothing brushes against it and disappointing to discover the surface dye job. I had the same problem immediately and a leather man was sent out to re-dye this same part but he told me it would happen again because of the leather not being dyed through.. (this man was sent out by Mitch) so he was just being truthful. read more

Almost a year ago, we went into the store located by Stonebriar to look at living room furniture. We ended up buying a chair, but not a living room set that we had picked out. I felt no pressure from our sales person, Kelly, to buy everything we had picked out - he was polite, helpful and respectful. Last night we went in to buy the living room set we had picked out and were helped by Jamie, who was very pleasant and conscientious about making sure we understood the details of the set we had picked. He even texted the owner to make sure they could accommodate the changes to the set I had requested. We ordered the living room set at a very fair price for the excellent quality this company offers. My family has also purchased furniture from this company and the craftsmanship on every piece has been excellent! read more

We told the salesman about our issues with pets at the time of purchase and they told us there would be no problems. They should have directed us to the correct types of leather as you stated. We wasted $7,000 and now have an embarrassing ugly expensive sofa and loveseat. The costs for you to repair are close to $1,000. That is too much to spend after spending so much on the furniture. If you have pets you should stay away from leather. An expensive lesson for us. read more

In response to Mitch's post on 1/18/16, With my money safely tucked away in your pocket,of course you'd respond in defense of the inferior quality of your leather. Not a 3 year old sofa. And, to set the record straight, the fading began 6 months after purchase, thus is it safe to say that should a consumer purchase a red sofa from you, it'll surely be orange within a year? BUYER BEWARE! As well, I'm willing to test your theory in small claims, should the BBB be unable to persuade you to do the right thing (stand behind your warranty) for the right reason. Furthermore, fading and aging are 2 different things. I've had leather furniture and leather coats, neither of which faded, despite having been exposed to the elements, so come again Mitch? I will also upload more pictures showing areas that suggest the dye on this sofa was sprayed on. It's funny how you are so quick to post a response in an open forum, but are unwilling to return phone calls regarding complaints. And, given that you seem to be interested in the complaints waged against your company on yelp, why don't you correct the issues, as you obviously realize that posts such as these can perpetually erode your reputation in the eyes of potential consumers. Regardless of the outcome, reviews such as those you've received, coupled with the way in which you defensively respond, rather than proactively resolve, enables consumers to make a conscientious decision as to whether purchasing from your stores are worth the risk. read more

I wanted to write about two experiences that I've had at the Leather Sofa Company. My guess is that you're used to mostly getting complaints. Sadly, few expel the same time and effort to offer praise than those that want to offer criticism. However, I am so pleased with our experience that I wanted to take the time to offer my positive feedback. Back in April 2018, I bought a lovely Titan couch for our game room. I love it, I often marvel at its comfort, appearance, and it being exactly what I wanted. I affirm this satisfaction is thanks to the service I received by the sales expert, Carl Neyrey. Carl took the time to understand what I was looking for, helped offer true expert advice and opinions to assist narrowing down the field as to which models might best meet my needs. When it came to selecting the mind-numbing options of leathers he further shined. For instance, I mention I didn't like waxy-looking leather, and wanted durability due to our pets. He steered me away from brand A and mentions several excellent options to work from. At no point did I feel that Carl tried to pressure me into an up-sell. He had opinions and would offer honest feedback (even if critical) to really help me make what I felt was the best choice for what I was wanting. It was such a great experience that when our living room sofa broke down this past week, I knew exactly where I was going to go and who I was going to seek out; Carl Neyrey at the Inwood location. Carl did not disappoint. Having been thru the process before, I knew which model I was leaning towards. I took my wife this time, and feared the worse (as we seldom agree on furnishings the first time), however, Carl once again was our expert sherpa and we had our selections made within 20 minutes. Quality of product, and experts like Carl is what had me come back, and will be sure to do so again. He is a difference maker, my wife and I marveled over the sales experience on the way home. Ask for Carl! He is great, knowledgeable, and helpful. We needed a very specific size and shape sofa for the family room in our new lake house and Carl was able to help us plan the perfect room. I had a color palette picked out and found the perfect burnt orange leather for my hill country decor. Carl also helped me find the perfect coffee table at a great price through a connection he has in the industry. Our sofa was ready on time, and looks great. The delivery men were very polite and professional. We shopped other places and The Leather Sofa Company was comparable on price, and had more choices of leather. I'm very confused on how to rate store in north forth worth! It was my first time going to the store I was very impressed with the decisions and quality of the furniture. I had a man named john and he seemed like he was trying a to sell a bit too hard and when I asked him about how the frame was constructed on a couch I would be paying $3400 dollars on he told me, he couldn't tell me because it was patented. Okay first of all if I'm paying THOUSANDS of dollars on a couch I need to know what it looks like or how it's constructed. And all he could tell me was trust me. We'll news flash I don't! I don't know this company but I'm trying to get a well made couch for a fare price buuuuut I need information and not a trust me bit by a man I'll never see again. Very frustrating and I am a serious candidate for a couch, but I'm very nervous now. Hopefully I can speak to another sales man that knows about how the product is constructed. I must say I went back to this store to buy the couch we were interested in like I said, and I have to say john was very professional and very respectful and apologized how we had left things a few nights ago. I called the Inwood Rd. store today (around 10:15 am) and received the answering machine. I left a message - no return call. I called the store again around 1:30 pm and was told that my call had not been returned due to them filming in the showroom and that it has taken up their morning. So I began telling the man on the phone, who did not mention his name, that I had previously been in the showroom and spoken with Jamie last Fall. Jamie quoted me a price on the metallic silver modern Gev sofa and wanted to know if it was still available in the same configuration for the same price. This man bauked at me and said there was no way - the price he gave me was around $2,500 more than what I was quoted. I asked why it was such a large difference and he stated, very catty, that there had been 3 price increases since I had been in the showroom. I then told him that I obviously needed to take my business elsewhere - he said, "okay". This man was extremely rude and I obviously was a bother. These pieces of furniture are not cheap and are made with excellent quality, however I am not sure that I will be back. This makes me very sad as I had anticipated that silver sectional in my new family room. read more

This is the place to go if you are looking for high quality leather furniture. The 'big box' stores don't seem to know much about leather nor construction quality, they just point to the name brand. I dealt with Jamie at the Inwood location who was very knowledgeable about leathers, furniture construction, and also commented on how I sat on the different styles. I went in for a style I had seen on their website and Jamie pointed out how I actually sat on the sofa which led me to purchase a completely different style that was more fitting to myself for comfort and use. They also have a touch-screen in the store that lets you virtually 'build' the exact style with all the options a true custom furniture store allows you to choose. I could go in to detail about the leather details and construction techniques that was explained to me, but that would make this pages long. If you're reading this, I highly recommend you go to the store yourself before making a purchase decision. I just ordered the furniture today and will update once I receive the product. read more
