Both of my kids have VERY different personalities, and I feel like all the teachers have adapted and responded to both of their different needs so well! The owner, Ms Kathryn, has amazing communication skills and has created such a sweet community here in Manor for parents, teachers and kids. There was a parents night out recently that my oldest was begging to go to just to have a chance to be back at her old school! All of the teachers here are kind, friendly and trustworthy. We receive multiple updates and pictures per day and they have fun, interactive activities and lesson plans. My kids have gone to many different daycares, camps and schools and this has been one of our favorites jsut because it truly feels like part of our family!

We were unable to attend due to financial situations with COVID and being unable to receive the vaccine exemption form(required to attend school). I spoke with Kathryn and told her our situation. She extremely rude and condescending when I asked for a refund. She told me "I'm trying to run a business here and I don't have to tell you our refund policy." I didn't sign a form that stated their refund policy nor was I aware of it before or after the transaction. We have been effected heavily by COVID and can not afford to lose money but this business could care less about the financial situation of their families. I was given no options. They wouldn't transfer the deposit to the next quarter, no partial refund, nothing. Following writing this review I have been threatened with a lawsuit, over $150? AND HARASSED ON MY BUSINESS PAGE BY THE OWNER BOBBY!!! I am honestly not surprised with how I was treated over the phone.

Lucky for me their prices had decreased a little since the last time not due to age. I've always liked the staff. I was was taking him to Extendacare off Cameron Road / 183. Although I loved his daycare teachers in the classroom unfortunately there was only one other child remotely close to his age so he never got to really have a classroom full of other kids his age. I also want a daycare payments for the entire month on the first of the month and I only get paid my child support Weekly through out the current month... that's really difficult to know that your rent and your child's daycare is due on the first of the month. And then they didn't even provide meals! I also had to deal with all horrible morning traffic at Cameron Road/183. I had to deal with parent traffic like a regular school. Also because I had to walk quite a ways from my car to the front door if it was raining outside I would not be covered. i still wait for someone to open the door to the day care vs a code I could press to get in. It Just became a huge inconvenience taking him to Extendacare. Then they required a 30 day written notice before pulling him out of daycare! As you can see I'm very happy to see him back to Creative World Learning Center that is nothing like the old daycare and that functions like a "regular" daycare.

I trusted this place with my child, and what we experienced was extremely hurtful and unacceptable. Over time, I witnessed behavior from certain staff members that made me seriously concerned about the environment and how children were being treated. My son experienced inappropriate and hurtful comments about his skin color, and instead of addressing the situation, the blame was shifted onto him. He was also being bullied, and nothing was handled properly. On top of that, I also noticed a serious lack of confidentiality. Personal information about families and their situations was openly discussed among staff and even shared with other parents, which is completely unprofessional and unsafe. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this daycare. Families deserve a place that is safe, respectful, and supportive, and unfortunately this daycare did not provide that for my child. I strongly hope changes are made so no other child or parent has to go through what we did.

They take the time to really get to know each child and family, which makes all the difference. I especially want to shout out Ms. Mary, who is truly the heart of the Academy. She watches over all the kids like they're her own, and her care and love shine through in everything she does. You can tell she genuinely loves being with the kids, and they absolutely adore her right back. It's such a comfort knowing our little one is spending the day with someone so kind, attentive, and nurturing. It's rare to find a place that feels this safe and supportive--and Kiddie Academy, thanks in large part to Ms. Mary and the rest of the staff, absolutely delivers. We're so grateful!

My son's teachers kept quitting and new teachers were joining, with the average tenure of teachers being 1-3 months. (In stark contrast, he now goes to a different daycare where he has the same teachers throughout the almost 9 months he has spent there. ) There was a teacher in his classroom who reported having Covid to the school but the school did not send out a timely notice, only sent it out after I emailed them and asked about the incident. My son ended up getting Covid and resultant chronic ear infections from their tardiness. Very disturbing, callous and borderline illegal. Don't send your kid here.

The classroom is fun, engaging, clean, well-organized and all the staff is very nurturing. Hannah is very caring, she is a great teacher and director. She has an excellent staff. The staff is so kind and caring and treat each child as their own. We love each teacher and have grown to become great friends with each one of them. The admin staff work extremely hard to provide the best in childcare, Hannah herself is dedicated to fundraising to add staff and amenities so that each child can enjoy their time at daycare even more. Their communication is top notch, especially throughout the coronovirus pandemic, I've always felt informed about what was going on with the school and how they're making changes to keep everyone safe. I could go on and on, but if you're wanting a daycare who will love your children as much as you do then look no further than Hannah's World.

Overall you can just tell this company is cutting corners and pocketing too much on tuition without caring for the children. I would happily petition to reform or put them out of business to be replaced with a family business with values for the children.

We love the small school feel of it, with community and teachers who know the children well. The school is an establishment in the community, and I meet many people with grown kids who attended there. My kids love the shady playground, and my older kid who is no longer there still maintains that it has the best swings in Austin. There is also a nice open indoor hall for rainy or hot days, as well as activities like Soccer Shots they offer. There is a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack cooked each day by the school chef. The school is play based and focused on learning through play, which I think is perfect for this age. Thank you First English.
