I have been sending my child to Goddard for 3 months now and I have no regrets. She is in the infant room and when I drop her off she is excited to see her teachers and when I pick her up she is happily playing. They follow my schedule and requests and they are always so sweet with my little baby. I do not feel anxiety leaving her with her teachers and everyone is welcoming. If you are genuinely looking for a place to send your child to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually, then this Goddard location is your place! Although I think it's terrible that there was a miscommunication I do not think 1 star is fair. They also fill their slots on a first-come-first-serve basis. One thing to learn from the review is to double check their openings and meetings the day before you go because anyone could've filled the open spot.

We've been incredibly pleased with how smooth our transition to the school has been during the pandemic. The kids run in each morning & are genuinely excited about what they're learning. I consider that willingness to help to be a huge reason why I referred others to go there. Those that I referred, had nothing but a positive experience as well. This past year, there has been a huge drop off. Staff who cared for and loved my kids have left, prices changed and we started having to consider other option but I would have stayed if it had not been for the change in leadership. Melinda Rushing was not willing to work with us in regards to her issues regarding my wife's concerns about program quality and went so far as to claim my wife was "poaching" her staff because she was willing to help staff with resume. Simply put, my wife is not in a position to hire people. Further, I could have worked with Melinda but she chose to kick my kids out of her school. What kind of school takes out their parent concerns on kids? Robs them of the opportunity to grow socially and emotionally because the director has a parent concern? It saddens me that I can no longer recommend All Day, a once great day care.

Pay no attention to those reviews as those days are long over and it is a completely different center now. Lead by Ms. Vrinda and her assistant Ms. Orian, this center is growing what seems like by the day. My children LOVE it there and the teachers show love and care for both of my children. The curriculum is outstanding as my 4yo is coming home demonstrating sign language, knowledge of the 50 states and their capitals, Spanish, and even some reading! The center looks and even smells clean when you walk in the door and that's great for a daycare! Stop in to see Ms. Vrinda, Ms. Orian, or even the owner of the center and a really nice man, Mr. Jeetu. Take a tour with one of them and see their awesome indoor playground called make believe bullivard or their colorful and large classrooms. You won't be disappointed.

In my opinion, this day care is THE BEST DAY CARE in town (and neighboring towns). Let me start off…read moreby saying, that similar to many parents, I researched many daycares before choosing a location. In addition, my child attended two other day cares before we landed here. The way the teachers interact with the children is wonderful to see. The teachers are firm and consistent in their approach to bad behavior (ie. removing the child from the space, talking to them, explaining why, etc.). They are kind and patient, they teach, they have fun (art, shaving cream, dancing). It's truly the BEST DAYCARE IN TOWN. My daughter has learned so much!!!!! Examples - ABC's, sign language, how to write, even some Spanish colors, and so much more. The Director, Johana is phenomenal, as well. My daughter was having a behavioral issue 2-3 months into joining. She was ok with the other children but she was not listening to the teachers and displaying behavior that was not her normal behavior. I believe this was because we just changed daycares and in parallel I was transitioning her into her own room / bed. Johana sat me down and explained all the issues and the impact it was having. She gave some recommendations on what we could work to implement, together, to try and rectify the problem. She was also very clear on how long we had to try and implement a solution (before we would need to change schools). All things I truly appreciated because there was over communication on the problem, a willingness to work together to try and resolve the issue, and a clear deadline. In the end, I was finally able to get through to my daughter and her morning statements of "I don't want to go here!!!" changed into "I can't wait to tell Ms. Caila XYZ" or greeting Mrs. Johana on the way to excitedly join Ms. Temu's class. Their willingness to try and work with you (as a parent) and their dedication to providing a safe, fun, and educational place for all the children is impeccable. You won't regret sending your child, here.

Our one-year-old daughter just started this month, and the staff have been incredibly sweet and attentive with her. From day one, I received plenty of photos and updates showing exactly what she was doing throughout the day. That level of communication made me feel so much more at ease, especially as a parent leaving a little one in someone else's care for the first time. In just a short time, she's already learning to spoon-feed herself and is showing so much more independence while exploring and walking around with confidence. Our four-year-old son has been attending for a couple of months now. He had been struggling with some behavioral challenges at his previous daycare, but since switching to Guidepost, we haven't had a single issue. The difference is night and day. The teachers here are clearly well-trained and experienced. They have a calm, confident presence and complete control of the classroom (which is no easy feat with a group of four-year-olds!). They keep the children engaged while also teaching valuable social skills, like how to play cooperatively, share, and respect personal space. In addition, our son has multiple food allergies and sensitivities, and the team at Guidepost has been exceptionally supportive and accommodating. They've gone out of their way to not only make sure his dietary needs are met, but to support me as a parent during what has been a tough transition to a new diet. More than anything, what sets this school apart is how much they genuinely care (not just about the kids, but about the entire family). I wholeheartedly recommend Guidepost Montessori!

I looked in to TWELVE daycares/schools in the surrounding areas of Somerset, Piscataway, Edison and Metuchen to find the best fit for me and my family. Guidepost Montessori by far stood out amongst the rest. There is no other school that teaches the practical life skills curriculum and montessori method like Guidepost. During my initial tour, you could sense the professonalism of the facility amongst the rest. I love that they allow the children to choose what they want to do/learn day by day. It is not your average school that has the same curriculum for every student. Each child is taught to their standards and their likings and that's is so necessary in little children. Whenever I walk into Guidepost, the guides and staff are always so professional. You always see each guide being so attentive and nurturing to their students. There is never a moment you walk in and they are not doing their job. I have went on several tours and was instantly turned off due to their staff not being attentive and/or using the cell phones. Guidepost is NOT like this at all. I was instantly attracted to their Nido room when I saw Ms. Gioia sitting and clapping with the babies. You can see the love and care she has for each and everyone of them. I knew I would be in good hands leaving my baby here. The facility. is also VERY clean! I love that they do inside shoes and outside shoes and for the NIDO class room they wear shoe covers to keep the floors clean for crawling children. If you're looking into Guidepost, you won't be disappoint. This is definitely a great place to have your children. My oldest son is in the mixed age Childrens House class and when I come to pick him up he gets upset and says "He doesn't want to leave." At Guidepost, you will be well taken care of. You will be well at ease knowing that your children are in good hands at Guidepost.
