In the end he did an amazing job removing every single weed and dead plant, sprucing up our trees and edging our lawn. He designed and installed a system that handled our entire yard which is over an acre and mostly slopes. My husband and I are seniors, so everything seems to be getting harder for us . First of all I HATE leaving negative reviews. DO NOT USE this company. This is my 2nd experience…read morewith Luis. The first time I used them, they did a good job. It was some edging and planting plants in planters. I hired them for my new home around the October time frame to fix my backyard sprinklers and new sod. Luis said to get the more expensive sod to prevent the dogs from staining. I took his recommendation. He stated he would replace and repair ALL waterline, and then remove and replace the sod. I even boarded my dogs just in case for 2 weeks! He did NOT fix the water/sprinklers and All the new sod died almost immediately. The area that was peed on turned yellow immediately, not his fault but it was Luis who said buy the more expensive stuff to prevent this. The other areas just died by themselves. Probably because the water wasn't fixed right. I have no idea but that was a loss of 2k in a month! This was the more expensive St. Augustin sod. I have reached out to him now over 8 times. He text me back once, stating I should call the grass company myself. He did actually tell me on one other occasion he would come back to look and NEVER SHOWED UP. I stated to him very clearly that i was not looking to get something for free but full expected after paying $2,000 for him to rectify the issue. I at least thought he'd offer to fix the sprinklers and re-plant the sod at a discount. He did NOTHING. I still cannot reach him. I am presently in the process of filing a claim with the contractors state licensing board or against his bond.
