Jazzie is a true professional, and took great care in selecting and blending the perfect color combinations for my hair. Since the first hair extensions that were introduced in salons years ago, the application process is greatly improved... much quicker and less harsh on delicate, thin, and/or fragile hair. Yet, I did not know what to expect from the application of the personalized extensions within my own fine, thin and naturally curly hair. Truth is...I could not be happier with the results, now!!! Jazzie placed each hair swatch (about 6 in all--so few can do so much!) in the perfect area to add thickness and length to each side. 5 Star update for fabulous extensions, taking them out for the summer, and being left with GREAT…read morehair (better than before the extensions!). So here's the thing- I was initially nervous about getting extensions because I had heard horror stories about how they thin your natural hair. Enter: Megan: My long-time hair color fairy and the guardian of my hair (lol). Knowing she'd never steer me wrong, when I expressed interest in extensions, I was confident my hair underneath would be fine. 1.5 years later and I just recently took the extensions out for a summer break (your girl runs hot!) and I am so impressed by the state of my scalp and hair now. Not only has my amount of hair not diminished, I even feel like it's much healthier than before the extensions. I would think this is due to expert installation as well as the fact that the extensions lengthened the time between washes (my fine hair used to get so weighed down and greasy, so I used to have to wash very often, and the extensions prolonged the volume). I will definitely be doing extensions again, especially now that I know that I can easily get them installed and take breaks as needed. Megan was also able to help me extend the life of my extensions with education on how to care for them, so I still have them in a bag for when I go back to long, voluminous, vavavoom hair. Once again- no one is allowed to touch my hair with color or extensions unless their name is Megan Essig. Previous review: 5 Stars for extensions that perfectly match my hair and have changed my whole hair routine! It's been 8 months now of having extensions by Megan and I could not be happier. She is an absolute expert at color matching and she helps you buy the extensions directly from the supplier (no upcharging here!) from there the install is totally painless and flawless. I surprise people constantly when I let them know I have extensions because it looks like my real hair and the roots don't stick out prominently. The best part? I thought this would add to my hair care routine time, but on the contrary- I can go longer between washes and styling because it holds the style so well and doesn't get greasy. So now my natural hair is healthier. Truly wild because of the things I've heard from others about what extensions did to their hair. I think it's a testament to the way she installs them and the care that's taken.
