Also, if you're able to access the app, and order extra services (like an extra rinse) but you don't press those buttons on the machine before you hit start, you'll pay the $2 but not get the rinse.

I have been coming to this Hub Bubbles location since they opened in Smithsburg. I used to love…read moredoing clothes here until the last few months. The laundromat has a smell that smells like trash and rotten eggs. This location used to be so clean and tidy but has severely went down here. Trash liters the floor and inside of the washers. Judging by the smell of the washers, they haven't been cleaned in some time. I have also noticed a lot of "grease" marks on my shirts, after washing them at Hub Bubble, I know the stains were not there before being washed. In addition to the uncleanlines, there is no AC in the building, which means when it's 90° F outside, it's over 100° inside of the laundromat. The bathroom that used to be open to patrons, is now locked and not accessible. It is unfortunate and a hassle to have to run to the closest gas station to do laundry, especially considering how long it takes to wash and dry multiple loads. The dryer times changed... it used to be .25¢ for 6 mins of drying time, it is now .25¢ for only 4 mins. There was no notice to inform patrons the change either. While I was using one of the big washers, I put my $11.25 in the machine and it would not start. The machine threw an error message and the door to the washer would not open. If there is an issue like this, there is no phone number posted anywhere in the business for you to call the owners. The rapid decline of this establishment has me looking into other laundromats in the area.
