Second time here (I frequent the Allegheny Ave. location)...be prepared to fight with the carts, because majority of them don't roll correctly. Make sure the area where you load your detergent is empty and test the card readers BEFORE adding your laundry washing solutions. I've done wasted, time, money and detergent here just simply trying to do a load of laundry. The location is dingy, but not filthy. They do need to do a better job cleaning the doors of the equipment--usually dusty. Just a heads up--although it's the same chain of laundromats, you have to get a new laundry card for each location. read more

0 stars! They lost my clothes!!! Clothes was dropped off. We were told we would get a call when it was done. We did not. 3 days later we went to pick up the clothes. We were told they lost our phone number and there may have been mix up with the clothes. Turns out they gave us 2 bags of clothes that weren't ours. We had dropped off 3 - 45 gallon trash bags full of clothes got back what looked like 3 - 13 gallon bags. Went back the next day to take back the clothes that isn't ours and our other clothes is not there. Left a message with the attendant to have a manager call back since there is never one there. Never received a call back. Have gone back 5 times in the last week and still no clothes and no call back from a manager. 2/3 of the clothes we dropped off is gone and no response or even an apology. Thier website does not provide any main contact information for the company. Thier phone just rings and when it goes to voicemail you get a mailbox is full message. The absolute worst. In addition, the little bit of clothes I did get was a mess...Shirts inside out, half of the stuff not folded, socks not paired. It's just a mess. Do not take your clothes here. Unless you are prepared to buy a whole new wardrobe. read more

I was drawn to this laundry mat due to the fact of the difference of it being a cafe- we'll when I went I didn't see a cafe- must be broke or was taken down cause there wasn't a such thing! Just a little disappointed due to the fact it's misleading with the photos on here. Kinda wanted the whole experience of a laundry mat cafe- we'll anyway there were plenty of machines and not bad prices- love the fact that if you use the big machines you get free drying minutes! That's a huge plus for me since I had allot of laundry to do! The staff there were pretty helpful and answered all my questions and helped me understand the whole card process- I m used to using quarters. Also love the location- can walk down and get snacks or soda from the dollar store while waiting for my loads to get done or or go to Burger King. They also had video games to do entertain your kids if you bring any! And there's free WIFI which is always a good thing! read more

Okay here's the good, the bad and the ugly. The Laundry Cafe is large and well lit with ample washers and dryers, they also offer massage chairs and free WiFi. And they are usually open 24 hours. However there is a major issue with the card readers that are attached to the machines. Attempting to use either the Laundry Cafe card which cost between $1-2 to obtain or your own credit/card is like playing Russian Roulette you slide your card and pray for the best. Today after no exaggeration at least 150 attempts alternating 3 different cards my laundry is finally washing. Now the tears because I'm anticipating a repeat when it's time to use the dryer. Adding insult to energy the management is well aware of the problem, has no plans to rectify it. I quote " well with that's how the readers are they're very sensitive you can either try a different machine or just keep playing with its up to you. We don't have any control over them. I can say that I appreciate coming in and the tops of the machines aren't covered with dust. Maybe someone here actually read my review. The place looks much cleaner...but there also isn't as many people here...midday Thursday. The gook between the machines are still there...and I'm ow noticing that the machines themselves need cleaning. (Pic soon to follow) A bit more attention to details of cleaning. This place is really great nevertheless! Upscale and inviting. Couple computers you have to pay for using them but not too expensive. Free wifi if you have a device already. Wait let me look for outlets...haha. Starbucks coffee maker. Massage chairs...I love it. Clean restroom. 24/7 Located near karaoke places & many Korean restaurants in surrounding areas. The place is dangerous. I have been there three times, at different times of day in the hope of seeing different employees who had acceptable behaviors. Each time, the employees were wearing their masks under the chin or under the nose, which is exactly the same as not wearing one. They also made no attempt at all to socially distance themselves, even while maskless. They were out on the floor in close contact with customers, as well as at the tables on the floor where they fold the laundry of people that dropped theirs off. On one visit I needed assistance from an employee and asked her to pull up her mask, which was below her nose. She did, but as soon as we were done, she pulled it down again. When I asked for assistance a second time, her mask was under her chin and she didn't bother to pull it up at all. Additionally, despite the large sign greeting customers as they entered, stating that masks are mandatory, none of the employees enforced this or social distancing, and a lot of customers had masks pulled down or had no masks at all and were making no attempt at distancing themselves. This location has mostly Black and brown customers, the people who have been hit the hardest and have experienced the most deaths from covid 19. The employees lack of regard for safety in this area is an active and defiant act of aggression against their customers. read more

this place is terrible the owners have a manager who is very nasty to the customers. I had an item stolen from a dryer after using the bathroom. I asked the manager to review the tape , he told me he was busy loading a vending machine, I expressed the urgency of seeing who went in my dryer because I didn't want the person to get away. The manager ignored me completely and then went into his office and never returned. I reported this to the owners who didn't seem to care and they never followed up. The word "Cafe" in the name is slightly misleading. Unless you want to eat laundry cakes (is there such a thing?), vending machine coffee or vending machine snacks it is not exactly a cafe. Let's instead focus on laundry. I'm a bachelor. I recently moved to an apartment with no washer or dryer. Although I am adept at doing my own laundry I seldom want to take the time and sit there babysitting my unmentionables while they process though the laundry cycle. If I were inclined to do so I can see that this is a great place to do it. There are an ample number of machines of varying sizes. Depending on just how much laundry you have you can either use small machines and separate your darks from your lights or you can be like me and just toss it all into one industrial sized vat (I pretty much only have darks). Once you're through with the washers there are an equally ample quantity of dryers. The way it works is, for each washer you pay for you automatically get a certain number of free minutes in the dryers. The larger the washer to longer you get with the dryers. The room is cheerful, smells good and is well lit. The signage is clear so even a laundromat novice such as myself can figure stuff out reasonably easily. That said, I rarely use any of the above. I prefer the wash and fold service. I walk in with a bag of dirty laundry and meet an always cheerful laundry specialist at the front desk. I throw my bag onto a scale and they charge $.99/pound. A few hours later, I return to collect a bag of clean and folded laundry. I've been using them pretty much since they opened and consistently I have been thrilled to take my bag home and find everything nicely folded and smelling fresh. I'm not sure it qualifies as a complaint but if I were to get nitpicky I might observe that although they always match my socks they do not pair them. read more

Love this place! The staff is friendly and eager to help, and all the machines are kept clean and in great order. I like doing my laundry here better than I like doing it at home! The children's play area is a real blessing- you can keep your kids out of your hair but still in clear sight while you get your laundry done. Starbucks machine is a plus, and I absolutely LOVE the vending machines that have detergent on hand. Computers with internet access are a nice touch, and who doesn't love listening to the Jackson 5 while getting it all done?! Better than any laundry place I've ever been to! read more

Machines out of order but staff was nice. Too many kids running around unattended and two massage chairs that you will never get to use! One small load $5.00 and large load $9.00 way too much. Enough trips and you just need to invest in a washer and dryer. My dryer broke and I dread laundry mats but the laundry cafe is no ordinary laundry mat! As soon as I drove up, two people came out to help me carry my laundry inside. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I've been there three times and never had to wait for a machine! It is air conditioned and there is music, TV and computers to entertain you while you wait for your clothes to finish. Hopefully, I'll get a dryer soon but meanwhile this is my place of choice to dry my clothes! read more

The best Laundromat in town!!! I don't go to Laundromats too often, but when I need to wash multiple comforters and blankets, I make a special trip. First let me say that this place is really top notch. If you pull up to the front they will help you unload your bags. Once you come in the door, the attendant is very helpful. He helped me load the card and gave me instructions on how to operate the washing machine. It's a lot different from my machine at home, so I appreciated the assistance. They also have this cool massage chair that I spent almost $10 sitting in. THE CHAIR WAS FABULOUS!! There is also several different areas to relax, eat, or play games in the mini arcade in the back. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be a return customer. read more

Been going here since 2014 at first it was amazing with all their help and lovely atmosphere, 2015 they got away with not running a ac and employees seemed miserable ( understanding ) after that customer service dropped tremendously. Now 2016 summer ac is working but customer service is still really bad. Not sure what is going on. But I'm huge on customer service since we are the ones keeping the business going. I've never known of a laundromat that was open 24/7, but alas here it is. I really like being able to get up and go do my laundry at midnight when everyone else is home sleeping. I was slightly disappointed when I learned that it wasn't actually a café in the sense that there's no bar and ultimately no alcohol. But I got over that as soon as I sat down in the massage chair. This would've been my first time there...but when I called on February 22 around 6:30,the front an Oleny location. A women answered, an I asked we're they busy. Her response was "it's Sunday what do u think". I literally looked at my phone. Then she proceeded to say (after the awkward silence) we will slow down around 11pm. So I just simply said ok but I thought that was rude. I don't see how this place can even manage to get one star. The customer service is little to none. They do not put the customer first and expect consideration when ruining your clothing. I took a $400.00 Ralph Lauren dress to be dry cleaned they destroyed it completely!! Got ink stains all over it and ruined a beautiful brooch that was attached to it. They refused to refund the money for the dress, and did nothing to rectify the error, not to mention the dress was for a prom and the student was left without a dress!! I experienced very friendly staff, a very welcoming owner who showed me around the facility and made me feel comfortable. The machines are very high quality and are maintained well, along with a great variety of sizes of both washers and dryers - (they have a few of the largest dryers I have seen!) - they are not expensive and DRYING IS FREE! A small detail that made me smile was that you drive right up to the front door, and a staff member assists you with your bags, they placed them in a cart and park the cart in the front. You go park and your clothes are waiting for you when you walk in. The same happens when you finish your laundry, they watch your cart of clothes for you while you get the car and they help you load your car. They also provide you with an area to relax, area to do some computer work, wifi, coffee station (Starbucks) and detergent/supplies vending. There are community events/workshops in their lounge area in the back - but you can learn about that when you go! I definitely recommend The Laundry Cafe, just go once and tell them you are new, they will help you learn about the place! I'm thinking i might try the drop off service next, not sure but I would like to go back. read more

My daughter Jeannie and I love coming to the laundry cafe!!! Its Beautiful! At times our internet service is down at home so the computers are great when she needs to do an assignment. They really do strive for EXCELLENT customer service and they by far achieve it. I've only been there twice so my review is as a first timer. Here's what you need to know: 1. DON'T FREAK OUT when they try to get in your car... they're only trying to help you take bags in for you. The only problem is that they don't announce themselves, so my husband was about to two-piece the manager. 2. DON'T COME WITH QUARTERS you don't need them! Which is AWESOME. You can use your debit card or cash to upload onto your laundry card. 3. PRICE RANGE for washing is $3.49 - $9.99. I was able to put four bags of regular laundry in the $9.99 washer and another one I was able to fill up with 4 comforters, towels and sheets. 4. FREE DRY can be misleading because even though you're using machine designated for the big washers, it's only wise to fill them up half way or your clothes won't dry. The temperature also gets real hot. 5. SUPER CLEAN PLACE You have to use your laundry card to use the bathroom which cuts down on public usage. The manager is always seen cleaning or assisting people. 6. PRODUCTS they sell everything from laundry detergent to Starbucks coffee. They also have FREE PIZZA WEDNESDAY if you like Little Caesars :D The only other downfall (cutting drying load in half being the first) is that the dryers made my comforters smell funny. BUT that maybe the comforter stuffing. I'll continue to investigate. :) They also have a variety of music they play along with around 5 flat screens that play different channels (unless it's Wednesday night and we all gather around to watch Empire and eat pizza). Im new to the neighborhood and The Laundry Cafe is NOTHING shy of superb and excellent. It was recommended to me by a friend. The staff is VERY friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly polite. For a little less than $20 I washed 5+ loads of laundry, dryed them for free, my daughter was entertained by flat screen tv's that showed Saturday morning cartoons, a juke box, free wifi, inexpensive computer services, and it is very spacious. THIS IS A COLD WATER LAUNDROMAT!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Laundromat only has cold water, and management is well aware. The first time I went. I started washing my clothes, and chose the hot water option for each of the washers. I like to wash my whites, towels, sheets and underwear with hot water. I started the washers and checked the water as it flowed in to the washers and noticed all of the water was cold. I told the lady that was on shift at the time, and though she was very helpful and considerate, there was not much she could do. She called a manager that goes by the name Miss Hazel, and miss Hazel gave her an excuse to give me for the water being cold. I had to cut my loses and continued to wash my clothes because I thought this would be a one time issue. I came back almost a month later thinking that maybe the water would be hot now and the prior issue of there only being cold water would be resolved by now. I loaded my clothes, started the washers looking to only use hot water, and to my dismay the water was cold again. Maybe they're trying to save money on the gas bill by not having hot water, idk.. I have a husband and five children so I had a lot of laundry. They did an EXCELLENT job with our clothes!! Everything was cleaned very well and folded very professionally.. I have only used two other laundromats in the past year since my dryer has been on the bum, however this laundry succeeds all. They have door to car service, and since I overloaded the "suds", the manager did not hesitate to "restart" the washer and explained what I had done wrong.
