I was in Philly longer than expected and had to do laundry. Not the most idea when traveling, but this location was great. I was: 1) able to find parking 2) walk around and get a coffee 3) switch my laundry over 4) grab a bite to eat. 5) I felt safe leaving my clothes while I walked around because the attendant assured me he would be there the entire time. read more

Clean, which is the most important thing in a laundromat. Machines are pretty fast. If you're driving, it's on a block that almost always has parking available. There's an attendant so you can leave your stuff, and IM Laundromat offers a wash and fold service for when you're just looking to get it done with as little effort as possible. As laundromats go, highly recommended. My only complaint is that the machines take quarters - there's an ATM and change machine, but it would be easier to pay electronically read more

I've been traveling the East coast for 2 weeks and have gone to laundromats in Boston, NY, and DC. This one was the cleanest with the most functional washer/dryers. Value was unbeatable. I spent around $5 to do a small bag of laundry (reusable shopping bag sized). 75¢ for a packet of detergent, bleach or fabric softener is a deal. The facility is air conditioned, with plenty of chairs to sit, and TV for entertainment. There is an ATM machine and change machine that takes $10, $20. The man working there is friendly and welcoming. This place is a gem. read more

Female Asian owner speaks no English, doesn't have paper towels in her dirty bathroom. Many machines are out of order. Lack of seating.

Great hours -- open til 9pm nightly, so doing laundry after work is an actual option. (Other, nearest, at 8th and South closes too early.) Clean. Large machines and regular, but I did not see extra large/super-sized for large quilts, etc. Perhaps I overlooked it. Very few small plastic chairs to sit and read/wait for laundry -- so they can fill up quickly during busy times. I just set a timer on my phone and paced around nearby South Street (and ran errand to nearby hardware store, convenient).'' Dryer took an extra 2 cycles (12 minutes) to dry towels, so I think lint trap needed cleaning -- they are large and these places tend not to clean them often enough. (why would they, they'll make more money if you have to put in for extra time). In future I would ask girl at desk (lost in her phone, like most) to clean lint trap before I use the dryer. You can drop off laundry, as many people seem to since there were a dozen or so neat bundles waiting for pick up. I prefer to do my own, but nice to know there are options to drop and roll. Between South and Lombard Streets, with a lot of street parking mostly during the day. read more

Horrible communication! I specifically sent off my laundry trusting this company would do a great job after multiple conversations prior . They ruined my brand new Nike jacket! Who washes white and darks together?! When confronted , they informed me because my whites were a small load they washed it all together . You would think they would've called me and informed me before doing such a thing but no. Now my jacket looks extremely dingy ! read more

Great, new laundromat. Clean, new machines that'll take huge laundry loads. Will get you in and out quick. Also offers wash-and-fold and free wifi. I always put off laundry day but their effective, large machines let me get in and out fast with clean, dry clothes. read more

IM Laundromat - Hours and drop off pricing. - Laundromat Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The lady at the front has selective understanding of English! When she took my clothes and weighed them, there was no problem. She told me when to pick them up no problem. I showed up to pick them up (at the designated date and time), and they were not ready. While I was there waiting, she pulled it out of a dryer and started to fold it- I joined her and folded half the load to expedite the process (as I was double parked!). When I showed her and requested the new customer discount is when she didn't speak English anymore. As mentioned, I was double parked, and didn't have time to try and explain... Never got the discount, and never going back. read more

Great Service In and out in 3 Hours for Fluff and Fold Thank you read more

Not many washing machines and getting a ticket it's common but others than at it's a nice affordable laundry :)

I'm new in town and coming to this business once a week. It's convenience, cheap, perfect location and súper clean. Always find parking in front of the store. read more

So convenient-- I brought my laundry down at about 6:30pm on a Friday night and it was washed, dried, and folded and ready for pickup at 8am the next day. I had about 7.5 lbs and it was $10 (they said $1/lb but I'm not sure if there was a minimum). Regardless super convenient for a traveler with no time and no clean skivvies. read more

If you need laundry done- they'll do a great job! Worth the money to not sit around and wait

While in town visiting, we needed our clothes to be cleaned and I found this place based on the great yelp reviews. The reviews are 100% accurate in that the place is Very Clean - the way a laundromat should be. Ling (? the lady working there) was very sweet and helpful and did an excellent job with our laundry. Our clothes came out fresh, clean and neatly folded in 3 hours. I highly recommend her services. FYI - $10 minimum for laundry services - but well worth the price! read more

Had to get my laundry done somewhere because the hotel charges way too much, and I don't need dry cleaning. The place is fine, but the lady doesn't really speak english. Not that you need to talk to her unless you're dropping off, but even that can be done without talking. A couple of the dryers were broken but it's just a quarter so I'm not complaining! read more

So this was my first experience getting my clothes washed at IM Laundromat and it will be my last. I went to pick up my laundry and to my surprise their were roaches on my bag! I did not notice until already taking one bag out and putting it in my car. I go to pick up my other bag and notice the tape had a bug on it, and a bug was on my arm. I drop my bag and realize it's a roach! I run to my car and realize the tape on that bag has two roaches stuck to it. I come inside and show the lady who doesn't speak English so she was not much help. She just kept saying "not inside bag, it's okay"... I said no I need to speak to a manager ASAP. She called him, I explained the situation and he said no worries just leave my things and they would re wash. Um yea NO that wasn't going to work for me. I asked for my money back because I would need to take my things elsewhere and get washed because I did not want to take roaches in my home!!! I DON'T have roaches and I don't want them! read more

I am continually impressed about how clean this place is! The lady who runs this shop is an example of what all Business owners should be. And the machines are beautiful and never smell and always work! read more

I went here to use the Wash/Fold service on a Saturday morning and was able to get 15lbs of clothes Washed and neatly folded for $15. I dropped my items off around 9AM and was able to pick them up same day around 6. My clothes were clean and I couldn't be happier. It is a little under a mile walk from my apartment, but I will be making the walk/bike ride every couple of weeks to this laundromat. If they offered delivery (even for a fee) they would be off the charts! But a great place especially for those that are used to NYC laundromat prices as other wash/fold places in Philadelphia are nearly double the price of IM Laundromat. read more

Great, clean, bright laundromat. Free wifi, free laundry detergent, charging ports with cables for multiple devices, book exchange- it's ideal. I mostly do my own, but have used their drop off service for my comforter. Good prices and done quickly. read more

The woman who runs this laundromat took my clothes out of the washer and put them on the floor. BTW I put the clothes in the washer at 7:04. It takes 23 minutes to wash. I was back by 7:30. My clothes were already on the floor. I think that's enough said. Terribly disrespectful. read more

This place is the Louis vuitton of laundromats. The staff is very friendly, a couple of times I have had a cart with me, and they'd rush to the door to help me in and/or out. They have free wifi, a vending machine, a restroom for customers, and keep the place very clean and tidy. The comfy red chairs are a plus!! They will also do your laundry for a cheap price. The location makes it great to if you want to grab some coffee, lunch, dinner, or in my case go workout at the gym down the street. read more

Really happy this little gem is here! I'm passing through town with a large crew whom we practically live on the road. We all came here with our laundry for fluff and fold. $10 minimum for 10 pounds and only $1 a pound after that! Great service and fast! We were all super happy and no one was even missing a sock! read more

Great place to do laundry. Very quiet, very very clean, free wifi. Need I say more?

We used Yelp to get a suggestion for having our laundry done while we were at mid vacation.. They did a great washed, folded and ready when they said it would be. The shop is clean and well maintained. Pleasant staff. read more

Excellent wash-and-fold service with very nice owners. Everything was ready on time and neatly presented. The price for wash-and-fold, at $1 per pound, is fantastic. Way less than at other places in the vicinity. They have a 30 minute loading spot right in front for drop offs and pick ups. read more

Great laundromat!!! Low price {$1.00} per pound for "Wash & Fold." Super quick, same day service!!

First time customer. I came in less than 2 hours before closing and no one seemed upset about the lateness of my arrival. The place was very clean and offered some seating. There was no wait for any washers or dryers but that could be credited to my late visit. There is a limited amount of parking and you may have to drive around the block a few times. It's right off of South St. so there are options for biding your time. read more

i'm glad this is the closest laundromat to me, because it is the best in town. (well, maybe the one at 15th & spruce is on par, but i'm not schlepping clothes all the way over there.) super nice staff. clean. lots of machines. feels new. restroom. change machine (accepts $20s, and returns only quarters) comfortable. never crowded. i'm pretty sure there is a snack machine here too which could come in handy now that 8-Twelve mini market is no longer. read more

Since this laundromat happens to be the closest to where I live; consequently it's where I always go to do my laundry. The environment is clean and never crowded with ample washers and dryers (as well as Free Wi-Fi!), and while you have the option of bringing your own detergent, they always have some that is free for customers to use as a courtesy. Since the machines only accept quarters, there is an ATM and quarter machine up front for your convenience. While I have never taken advantage of the Wash-and-Fold service, it is available for those who need it ($1 per 1 lb. of laundry with a 1 lb. minimum), and if you need comforters, rugs, or sneakers washed, they do that too! I will continue to patronize this laundromat because of its cleanliness and convenience, and if you don't feel like sitting there waiting for your laundry to be done, it's close enough to many of South Street's coffee shops and restaurants. read more
