A good find for a clean laundromat in the area. Needed to pop over thanks to a non-working machine at a previous AirBnB leaving clothes in the middle of a wash. Dang! Happily, this place was good and the people were helpful. Definitely call ahead to confirm their hours. Though the listing here says they're open til 10pm, when I called they told me 7pm. That was juuust enough time for me to pop over, use one of the machines ($7), then go for the dryers. The temp on the dryers held pretty true. I used both the 'Low' and the 'Medium' for different clothes, and got the desired results. While it may not be the most fun on a trip, it's nice that there are options available. The positive reviews and rating for U-Do-It Laundry helped seal the deal for me. They also Do It themselves for you, if that's what's needed. read more

Horrible horrible owners/workers. This is the only laundromat i've ever been to where they demand that you wash your clothes before using the dryer. I explained I only needed the dryer because my dryer was down, they do not care, they said u must wash first. Ridiculous. One time I washed and dried my clothes here and my dryer did not dry my clothes at all, the owner did nothing about it even though i pointed out that the dryer didn't dry my clothes and i wasted that money and time. He simply didn't care. Never coming back here again. Terrible terrible TERRIBLE customer service and half the dryers don't even work. They don't even tell you which ones are out of service! It's all a guessing game to see whether your clothes will dry or not! Zero stars, negative even. read more

I visited this Laundromat bc it's near my home and I was satisfied. There are plenty of washers ($3.50 for the one I used) and dryers ($.25 for 5 minutes), so I wasn't waiting. I had no reason to speak with the staff but they seemed to be nice to the customers that were using the drop off service. read more

I went in to use the machines to do my laundry and everything was nice and clean. Decided to go early in the morning to avoid a busy time but there were so many machines I can't imagine there's ever much of a wait. The washer is $3.50 and dryer $0.25 for 15 minutes. I went here to get my Canada Goose jacket dry cleaned and mended. They did a very good job closing the seam. When I got my jacket back, I barely noticed where there was a slight tear in the seam. In other words, they did a very good job. My jacket also got dry cleaned. Strangely, it was slightly cheaper than out in suburbs where I lived. I needed to have a formal dress and down comforter dry cleaned. They were in great condition when the service was completed! If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought in 2 expensive white dress shirts to get dry cleaned. When I went to pick up my shirts, the worker literally walked outside and pulled my shirts out of the back of a van off the street. After I paid, I noticed black marks on one of the collars. The worker said, "it's not our fault, it's laundry." I said no these were suppose to be dry cleaned. He said, "no they were laundry, we charged for laundry." (As if I am suppose to know their pricing). Then he said, "oh those marks were they when you brought them in." (Keep in mind, these are shirts I wear for a couple hours at a time when I have to go to court for work). I literally wear them to court once and then get them dry cleaned. I know those marks were not there prior to them throwing my shirts in a washing machine and then in the back of a van. They ruined a $120+ dollar shirt and would not even give me my money back for their crappy service. Also, when I dropped off my shirts I specifically said I wanted them dry cleaned. Who brings in 2 individual dress shirts to get thrown in the washing machine?! Take your clothes elsewhere. read more

This review is for the DIY laundry machines. They are well maintained and work great, and there's an ATM and coin machine as well as a soap dispensary. It's $3.25 for a medium load with the option to do a "super" cycle for $3.50. There's also super large machines for blankets and large items. Driers are $0.25 per 5 mins but they are huge machines. I'd say this place has everything you need to do tons of laundry at an affordable price and it's very well kept. The owners seem pretty nice too. I saw a man struggle wth his dryer and the owner came over to help. read more

Anna, the seamstress, saved my bridesmaid's dress! My custom, floor length dress came in too long, and my roommate offered to hem it for me. But my roommate realized mid-way through that she actually couldn't, and I was left with an uneven, fraying, and too short dress with less than 3 weeks before the wedding. Changing from heels to flats helped, but the dress needed serious work. I brought it in to Anna, and after getting over the horror of my dress (I was too!), she told me she would do her best to salvage it - making it even and keeping as much length as she could. She rushed to get it back to me in time even though it was a time-consuming project, and I was AMAZED at her work. I was envisioning a dress at my ankles, and it was so close to the floor that you couldn't even tell that anything happened in the first place. this was my go-to dry cleaner for years. The prices are decent and on Tuesdays you can get 10% off. I recently had a bridesmaids dress altered (hem on a 2 layer dress) and it cost $50, which was half of what another vendor was charging. I have a washer-dryer unit in my apartment, which is great, but it's a little limited in its capabilities, which is not so great. When I need to wash a heavier garment or item like a blanket, I still have to go to a laundromat, and fortunately this one is in a great location for me. Prices are great, there's dozens of washer and dryer machines to choose from, and the ATM and change machines are very convenient as well. The big plus for me is that you can use actual quarters in the machines here. The other laundromat I'd been to required you to buy tokens, which are useless if you have any extras after taking care of your laundry needs. I might just have to try them for dry cleaning and alterations too. read more

This is strictly for the wash and fold service, I dropped off my laundry on the way into work on a Wednesday, and picked it up on Thursday on my way into work, I lost my pick up ticket but their backup system worked and I was able to get my clean neatly folded laundry without hassle, I got ALL my own stuff back, no random drawers of a stranger, even got my own laundry bag back! The laundry bag thing may seem petty but there is a british laundry nearby that simply can't do this one very basic thing of giving you back your own laundry bag, but will give you a cheap one with their own branding. I will return to this laundry for the wash and fold service whenever I'm in town, very reasonable pricing, great folding and clean with all your own stuff back, can't beat that, I might even see if I can buy a laundry bag from them so I remember them next time I'm in town. Good price for doing your own laundry. What I disliked was that I was within a few minutes after my wash stopped. When I went to get my clothes they had already removed them from the machine. I felt it was a little inconsiderate. The machine next to me and I started our loads at the same time. I'm not really sure how to rate this place. I was staying at a hotel a couple blocks away and this place was pretty convenient. The washers have a sign that says it doesn't recommend pods because they won't dissolve and I didn't see that sign until after my clothes were finished washing(took 37mins) but my pods worked so you can take your chance with that. It costs 3.50 if you do self wash and you have to pay in quarters but they have an atm and a quarter machine. Only downside is the 2$ atm fee if you don't come prepared. The dryers are a quarter per 5 mins and it takes roughly 40 mins for a load to dry. I put my load to wash, walked around for a bit came back, popped them in the dryer, walked around again and then came back and picked up my clothes. They also do pickup and delivery services but I didn't opt for that. All in all it's a good place to wash your clothes and I'll probably be coming here for the rest of my stay in philly. read more

This place was so easy! I called and asked about the detergent they use. I wanted baby non scented detergent. 5 minutes later they were at my door to pick up. They called and dropped off the next day, 5 min after they called to confirm I was home for drop off. Everything was clean and folded nice. Nothing had scented detergent so they listened to my request. I had a baby carrier, some wool items, sheets, blankets, baby clothes, my regular clothes, bras and undies, so a big variety... everything was washed properly and well taken care of. read more

Today I went to U-DO-IT laundry for the first time. It was actually my first experience at a laundry mat ever - the washer/dryer in my building is currently broken and I was super behind with laundry so I thought I should check it out. Overall I had a good experience although before h went I had a hard time finding prices so hopefully this is useful: $3.50 medium washer $5 large washer (what I used- I would've needed 2 medium washers so I just combined and used a big one; 22 minute cycle for a normal wash) $8 Xlarge washer - good for comforters I think but didn't use $0.25 for every 5 minutes of drying I was there for less than an hour which was great and had no issues with any machines. They have change machines in case you bring cash and need quarters- all machines are quarter operated. And if you're not into doing your own laundry- they have a drop off service as well that can be same day if needed. The one thing to note is that this space is hot temperature wise - I was sweating while waiting for my laundry to be done! You can put your items in and come back, but if you wait inside just be warned it's gonna be warm! read more

Came here to do my laundry, and the stall I put my coins in had either cat/dog fur all over it. So I moved my laundry to the next stall, and asked the owner to refund my money since that stall was dirty. I wanted to do the medium wash for $3.50, but then he kept arguing that if he unlocks the machine to take the coins out, it automatically sets it to the $3.75 wash, and that I need to give him an extra quarter or he won't take out my coins. I told him I didn't have the extra quarter with me hence why I just wanted to do the $3.50 wash but he wouldn't budge. I told him I can just take the coins and go to another machine that wasn't reset but he wouldn't give me back my coins if I didn't do the $3.75 wash. I had to walk all the way back home just to get him a quarter ... never coming to this place again. All that just for a quarter. read more
