    Coffee chip ice cream

Every time I go to New Hope, I always go to this cute little ice cream shop! I've had the best hot & iced coffee. The Thomas Sweet brand of ice cream is known to locals around NJ & PA. It's always creamy, fresh & tasty! The service is quick & staff is knowledgeable. It's an unassuming place, but the quality of products are worth taking a stroll down Main Street & up a few steps! If you like vanilla peanut butter or coffee chip ice cream- this is THE shop for your favorite flavors!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to check out what kinds of ice cream they had. I opted for their peanut butter vanilla and it was quite delicious. My boyfriend got a frozen latte and enjoyed it. They have a lot of classic ice cream flavors available and I would definitely return when in New Hope.

Cute little ice cream shop. It is nice that you can sit outside on the balcony and watch people go by and chat. There aren't that many options but the waffle cone was very fresh!

The best salted caramel ice cream. Yes I'm a local and never had had any problems with the staff.

$4.00 for one scoop $6.50 for a blend in. Didn't even fill the cup! Overpriced average ice cream at best. Never again.

When the server swiped my credit card, he also helped himself to a 15% tip. Cash only; don't get ripped off!

Perhaps this review is a bit belated, but it's never unnecessary to mentally return back to a trip…read more(from a few months ago) to ensure I close out my reviews from that time with one more stellar write up. Herein lies the five stars of Stella of New Hope which was a superb dinner for my wife and I on what was a lovely April night. This evening of early April was nice enough to warrant eating outside (albeit with the help of some heat lamps) on Stella's deck area overlooking the Delaware River. It's quite a calming view and definitely set the mood of the night. What also helped was some fabulous service as our waiter was kind, attentive, and gave a few great suggestions for the menu. After getting a couple of refreshing drinks (the wife did a margarita while I had the bourbon-based Stella Spritz) we headed down the food path. Those aforementioned menu suggestions started playing a role here as the waiter suggested the house-made bread, but told us we can get the brown pumpkin sage butter that's usually on top of said bread on the side (a fantastic idea, especially because my wife can be a little iffy with pumpkin/sage). Now it was a great thing to have that butter for dipping, but dang I wish the Delaware River was filled with it because that was some good spread! The wife even enjoyed it, and the flavors really complimented the warm, fluffy brioche type loaf that we consumed. For the main course, my wife got what can only be described as every onion ever (more on that in a sec), while I took the waiter advice one more time and got something I don't normally have, hence why I went for the house-made lobster ravioli. Wow were these tender morsels exquisitely delicious. The butter, lemon, and truffle found in the sauce added such flavorful notes. Speaking of flavors, it's onion time! My wife ordered the French onion pasta which literally lists four or five different kinds of onions in its menu description and really creates a wild punch on the palate. It was a little rich and perhaps overpowering for my wife to finish on her own (I can understand how it might be a bit heavy to attack for one person), but I helped to get her through most of the meal and I can't say I didn't love the onion life. Maybe it's not for everyone, but if you enjoy a good onion, get this. Overall, Stella of New Hope is a wonderful spot to dine at. There are great views, lovely service, delightful drinks, and some fantastic food worth experiencing. Not the cheapest meal I've ever had, but well worth every dollar spent. I can't say when I'll be back to New Hope, but it's not that far from where I live so there's always a chance I'll return. And if I do, Stella will be on my mind.

The ice cream is fresh, handmade, and absolutely delicious. They have a fun mix of classic favorites and unique flavors, and everything we tried was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We got the cashew caramel, cookie monstah, blueberry lemon, & cookie dough brownie. The shop also has a really warm, family-friendly vibe too. One of my favorite touches was seeing the coloring pages hanging on the walls--it adds so much personality and makes the space feel fun and inviting. If you're looking for amazing handmade ice cream, unique flavors, and friendly staff, OwowCow is definitely worth a stop even though it's not in the center of Lambertville. Will definitely come back if we're in the area.

My fiancé and I visited a friend who lives nearby and he recommended we go to OwowCow. Oddly enough, the temperature dropped 20 degrees in a matter of hours, but I was already committed to wanting ice cream so we went anyway. The line inside was long but it moved quickly. There were a good amount of employees helping to ensure everyone was taken care of. The flavor options here are so diverse and interesting! They have cute merch for sale, too. The honey lavender ice cream caught my eye so I decided to go with the Tea & Biscuits sundae. It consisted of two scoops of honey lavender ice cream, a lemon curd hard shell and shortbread crumble pieces. It was the most delicious, perfect, spring flavor combination. Inside the shop it was very warm. The heat must've still been on. Seating is also limited so if you want a seat, you should try to grab a table as soon as you see one.
