I decided to try out lash extensions again after having them for a few months while living back in Los Angeles. I'm so glad I found this place because Sam is amazing! She was very warm and friendly and made me feel comfortable. She also didn't make me feel like my request to have thick lashes the first time with her was unreasonable. The 75 minute session definitely zoomed by quickly with her easy going conversational style. I'm looking forward to see her again for my refills. I am so bummed I neglected to take "before" photos of my lashes! But SO happy with the "after" result. As for the price, it is definitely well worth it. My lash extensions in LA cost $130 for a full set and $85 for refills every 4 weeks. My eyes would itch for a while and I could feel the weight of the lashes, even though it wasn't very thick and long. Lash Loft has very affordable prices but they don't skimp on quality. If you're undecided, just go for it! You won't regret it. P.S. I have VERY fine and short Asian lashes. They don't curl well and mascara does nothing for them. read more

I had originally loved this place. I went three times... the first time was great. The second and third time I noticed that my eyes started to itch. At this point, I had already recommended this place to another friend, who also after the first week of application, had itchy eyes as well. We started to have pretty bad skin condition as a result of the glue and who knows what else. (And we are not dirty people!) Eyelashes were glued to my eyelid instead of the lashes and often clumped together. We both had to remove the eyelashes the best we could and were left with short stubby lashes. I believe they use a cheaper glue and I am not positive they clean their utensils after each visit. My friend is a hair stylist and would leave the same review... As a side note, they give extra $$ off your next visit if you leave reviews, thus the many positives I am guessing. They do have return clients, but I will definitely not be one of them. Some of the staff is pretty unprofessional and I would of liked to see more cleaning done and their certificates up. read more

Ever since my initial eyelash extension application, I have fallen completely head over heels in love with the way that they look and feel! I booked my first appointment with Samantha and I absolutely loved her application technique and warm personality! She instantly made me feel at ease and asked me questions about how I wanted the lashes to look, educated me about the whole process beforehand, and made sure that I was informed about what was happening while she was applying the lashes. Afterwards, she gave me a little card that had tips on how to care for the eyelash extensions and advised me about when to make another appointment if I chose to have a fill. Samantha applied them in a style that was exactly what I was looking for (I asked for a "wispy" and natural style; nothing too dramatic-looking). I could not be happier with the way that they look and feel. Having these lash extensions has cut out a good chunk of time in my makeup routine; I have even found myself skipping makeup all together sometimes because they simply look so nice on their own! After trying every mascara and fake lash set under the sun, I thought I was doomed to have short, thin lashes forever and spend forever caking on mascara & falsies every day and STILL be unhappy with my lashes...until a friend referred me to Robin at The Lash Loft! I'm not exaggerating when I say lash extensions changed my life. I finally feel pretty without makeup on, and when I do wear makeup, it looks way better with bold lashes that aren't spidery and flaky with mascara! The first appointment took about 90 minutes and was totally painless, just a bit uncomfortable at the end when I had to open my eyes and a few lashes were briefly stuck together. Now I go back every 2 weeks for a fill and it takes about 45 minutes each appointment. The glue used caused me to have an allergic reaction and didnt know why until i spoke with my doctor who explain the glue contain formaldehyde. Also they use hospital bandage tape undsr your eyes instead of a eye pad. So when its pull off it hurts like hell! There is only one type of lash offered and its heavy as heck and so syntheic it feels like plastic and it pokes. The price is cheap but you get cheap product and its not worth it. I as losing more natural eye lashes from it all. I even attempted to go back a few more times to make sure it was not me over reacting. At the end of going here several times i discovered cheaper comes at a high cost to your over all health and beauty. Its not worth it ladies, pay a good tech a little more money and walk away 100% satisfied instead of saving a few dollars and going cheap only too discover months later your eyelashes are looking like a bad perm. read more

Samantha did my first-ever eyelash extensions a week ago and I am 100% happy with them. I've gotten so many compliments from both women and men. Not bad for an old married lady like myself! The best way I can describe the look is that it's eye-catching and dramatic without being over the top. Samantha knew exactly how long and thick to make them to fit my personality and lifestyle within minutes of meeting me. The process was enjoyable and not at all uncomfortable (and I get a little weirded out with stuff involving my eyes). She had a great playlist going, so I just laid back and relaxed for about 45 minutes while she worked her magic. The lash loft is a really lovey place!! It is quiet and comfortable when you get you eyelashes extension. Samantha is really nice, she did my eyelashes in less than an hour, no uncomfortable feelings and it turned out really pretty. I have got eyelashes extension since 2013 and it feels really wired without it. There is really few places to get eyelashes extension in Madison I was trying to find one and luckily I found this. I went in on Friday to get my first ever lash extensions and they looked super great when I came out and looked good the whole first day. I followed the instructions on brushing them and not getting them wet, but as the days went on lashes would just fall off so easily. It's now Tuesday only 4 days after getting them and all of the lashes are off on one eye and only a couple left on the other eye. These were supposed to last 2 weeks. The Lash Loft changed my life - Sounds dramatic, but it's true. I can't remember the last time I left my house without a pinch of makeup on UNTIL I got these lashes. I had my lashes done by Ina and eyelash glue was placed in my eye but was told it was because of fumes (whatever!) The lashes were EXTREMELY THINNED OUT. When I first arrived I was told that the lashes would thin out in about 2 weeks and then I would need a refill but after application I notice they were already thin and Ina told me that they would get thicker over time when my new growth of natural lashes came in (WTF???) So which is it, are the going to get thicker or thinner? How could it get thicker when naturally the older lashes with extensions will fall off? To make this horrific experience story short; MY LASHES ONLY LASTED 3 DAYS!!! There wasn't any water, oil, or tears place in my eye area during the entire time. Lashes was placed on Tuesday and by Sunday my eyes were bald. I called and was treated very rudely. She did offer to apply a new set but why when you going to use the same products and procedure? Honestly that woman was so mean-spirited on the phone that I thought she was going to pursposely place glue in my eyes so I didnt even go back for a free application. She can keep that $92, I mistakenly gave her a $12 tip, because it's not worth me being treated badly. read more

This was the dirtiest, most unprofessional, rude place I have ever been to for ANY beauty services! I wouldn't ever recommend them! I would never go there again! If you want to get your lashes done well and feel valued and accommodated go to Studio Z. They are the best! I called the Lash Loft after having my lashes done for about 3 months because a few of my friends go there and the prices are a bit lower than the place I go to. I called the first time to speak with Ina who was incredibly rude. I hung up feeling like I was basically throwing her my business and she acted like I was inconveniencing her. After talking it over with some friends, I called again, in hopes that this was just a bad day. Ina answered again and was also rude again. She told me that because I had lashes on she didn't know how long to schedule and so she would have to book a 3 week fill appointment. I reluctantly agreed as it had only been 2 weeks since I got them done. I took off of work drove 30 minutes there and when I walked in the front entry lights were off. I was on time so I thought that was a bit strange. Ina sat gabbing on her cell phone in the room straight ahead with the door open (not a work call) and a friend or coworker sitting on her couch. She yelled out to me "I'll be right with you." So I was standing there waiting and she yells out "you must be Teresa, come in." Okay, so nice of you to come out and greet me and get me for my appointment. The lady on the couch in the same room stays. Ina says nothing more, so I chime in, "should I lay down now?" Typically, at the salon I go to normally she asks me how I am doing or how my drive in was etc. Also, I don't know if she is left or right handed and the towel (that had her hair or someone else's hair on it) was not on one side like I am used to. She says "yeah" and I lay down and remove my glasses. She says "um no I cannot do your lashes you only have 3 lashes on each eye left. Why did you book for a 2 week fill with 3 lashes?" I told her "I called in and this is when you could take me we agreed it would be a 3 week fill then." She says "no I cannot help you I have other clients and they cannot wait for me to finish with you." I told her I had drove 30 minutes and taken unpaid time from work to get them filled. Waited 10-15 minutes in the waiting room without being greeted while she chatted with a friend after finishing her lashes. I ended up getting pink eye from here. My eyes were itchy and gunky after a few hours into the next day. When I asked to come back in she said I couldn't come back because I could spread it, and when I asked for a refund she ignored me. I have never left a negative remark on a business before, but I feel as though this one is necessary. I had an appointment this morning with one of the lash technicians, whom I've never had an issue with, and was running a few minutes late to my appointment. I called their main business number about 3-4 times with no luck of reaching my tech to let her know I was running a bit late. Once I arrived, I was approached by another tech who very abruptly told me "Oh, YOU'RE the 10:45 appointment. She's not going to take you now. You can wait, but I doubt she will do your lashes." Mind you, I was a total of 7 minutes late. This was the second time I've encountered this woman and both times she was pretty short with me and with other clients who walked in. This is a bit of a turn off when you're paying someone for a service and expect to be treated decently. I am a freelance makeup artist, have worked for almost 2 years in the business, and I would never treat one of my paying customers with such disrespect. After that, my actual lash tech came out and insisted I reschedule my appointment since she "already marked me as a no show." My being late was only cutting into my own time, nor did the client after me have to wait for me to finish. My appointment only lasted until the next appointment which is what I expected, so the trouble i got at the start of my appointment was unnecessary. I have to say, the price is what drew me to this business because it is much more affordable than other eyelash extension businesses, and their work is very nice, but their customer service has proven they are still a young business and have much to learn in terms of client satisfaction. read more
