kelly was amazing, professional and very knowledgeable. The place is clean and also great location. Yet one of the best I've been to. Jelly was amazing quick and on time on every one of my appointments. I highly recommend asking for her as she is very personable and really nice. The Laser Spot - New location! The 2018 summer deals are fabulous, plus the laser services on Groupon are so good. Walt Whitman Shops is where it's at. - Laser Hair Removal Near Me - Huntington, New York

I am a client of the Salon Project and was introduced to Kelly who works for the Laser Spot. I was impressed to see a spa where I can get facials and laser hair removal inside of my favorite salon. Kelly removed my underarm hair and I couldn't be happier with the results. This may be TMI but I also noticed that my underarms progressively got darker from shaving. After laser, I noticed they are getting much lighter. Hallelujah! I noticed a dermaplaning trend on instagram and being a skincare junkie I needed to try it. Mita booked my appointment (she is the sweetest) and Kelly did my dermaplaning and WOW my skin never felt better! I never realized how much dead skin and peach fuzz I had. Kelly recommended some Biologique Rechere products and I love my new skincare routine. I'm so happy I found a company that is cautious, knowledgeable and most importantly professional. Thanks girls! read more

The Laser Spot is located in the basement of Gloss Salon. It took me a little bit to figure out where it was. Nicole did my facial and she was very informative especially when recommending products for those who are trying to conceive. She taylored to my problem area which were blackheads in my t zone and she went at it trying to extract as much as possible (i have a lot!). There was a little bit of some down time after the extraction, I was just laying there, but I went in with a groupon and didn't expect too much. Anyway it was an okay experience and the stars are for Nicole's effort with my blackheads!! read more

Kelly is amazing! I came here for a photo facial on Saturday and she took care of a cystic pimple that was stubborn and there for almost a month. It's only a few days later and you can barely even see it! read more

Just recently became a customer at The Laser spot. The laser spot is filled with such friendly people who welcome you and treat you right. Kelly, the laser technician, is amazing! Super friendly, gentle, and explains how the appointment will go, and warns you about the difficult spots and how to take care of yourself post laser. Highly recommend! read more

I went here for an IPL photofacial after purchasing a Groupon, and I didn't have the best results. She got too close to my lips, and I got really big blisters all over them. Also, the laser was really painful, even on the lowest setting. I've had IPL photofacials before, and never has it been so uncomfortable. read more

Best facial with Nicole P. She literally took 19 years off my face with her magic hands and high quality products. Totally worth it, and u can get a Groupon for new clients. read more

Don't go. I got a groupon for IPL, she overworked some areas and I felt it when she was doing it. I never signed consent and was never notified she could ruine my face. I have bad scars now. Major pitting and bad holes that were not there before. It made my face 10x worse. I feel like I took 20 steps backwards. I even loss collagen it looks like. It is horrible. read more

Mita is so professional and explains the whole laser process to make you feel comfortable. Her laser machine is probably one of the best ones I have ever had used on me. It isn't painful and it's extremely fast. I got my face and bikini area done and after the first treatment there was virtually NO hair. Her machine is very effective and I am truly happy I came across such a great laser spot (no pun intended lol) read more

Went here for an IPL photofacial treatment. This machine that was used wasn't too uncomfortable. After it was over there was hardly any redness except on one part of my forehead which took a week or so to heal after it scabbed. Other than that it slightly lightened up some freckles/sun spots. read more

Note: Not a yelper! However, a place like this deserves a review! I am very particular when it comes to my body. I was super nervous but Mita made my experience so comfortable. For the first visit just to get a gist of exactly how this procedure is, I only got my armpits and face done. Mita warmly welcomed me and explained the procedure thoroughly. I followed her instructions and the procedure was done within 15 mins. I didn't feel any pain and I was surprised! It was still questionable as to how can procedure like this be painless, quick and no hair growth? I scheduled next appointment for next month to complete the procedure. By next appointment, my hair had hardly regrown. I was appalled by the results but it was truly effective. I would recommend anyone to go to her! She is welcoming and patient with you. And who wouldn't love to be hairless? read more

Purchased three ipl photo facial from Groupon. Saw no results. Was really looking forward to finding a good ipl photo facial place near me. The results from the laser spot was horrible. Did not notice any difference. The amount of scabbing & flaking was practically nonexistent. Totally wasted $100+. Mita was nice but the treatments were not worth it. Very disappointing experience. read more

I came here for the first time and it was amazing! Nicole was so sweet and really knows what she's doing. I will definitely be coming back. My skin feels great after my facial. read more

A week ago I got IPL done by a woman named Kelly and it was the worst experience ever. I regret going there and this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I've been researching IPL for about 6 months; let me tell you the experience that I had was far from the YouTube videos and the information I read online. First of all no numbing cream was used I don't know if it's because I paid for the service through Groupon or what; my face after the procedure was unbearable. For me to say it was unbearable means it was truly painful because I have had every chemical peel under the sun you can imagine and I have never been in the pain that I was after this procedure. The second thing that took place is that Kelly went over my eyebrow with the laser and because I have micro-bladed eyebrows a scab formed. Instantly I asked her what was going to happen and she told me the hair would grow back and that I would be fine. Well let me tell you after a week my eyebrow has not yet healed and after being concerned because of the pain I made an appointment with my dermatologist. My dermatologist informed me that most likely the hair on my eyebrow will not grow back (I'm only 28 so that's great) and that the wound that I now have on my eyebrow will most likely scar. So instead of getting rid of scarring I was given more. To make matters worse my skin is the same it was prior to the treatment. I contacted the Laser Spot this morning and cancelled my follow up appointment and told them that they can have the money that I paid for the next two treatments. I was informed that the information would be "passed along". No apologies, no asking if I wanted a refund, nothing! For a place that's located in such a nice location you'd think that they'd be more professional. BEYOND DISGUSTED!!!!!!!! read more

I went in for a microdermabrasion facial and Nicole was amazing! She was very informative and went thru her recommendation at the end very thoroughly! Would highly recommend her! read more

I went to another place for laser hair removal services before coming here, just to "try it out" & it was NOT a good experience; it was painful & they also lied about pricing to purchase more sessions. I didn't go back to that other place. I found a Groupon deal for this place & what a difference. Mita is a doll, so sweet & personable. Also, this was virtually painless compared to the other place. This is why I purchased more sessions to keep coming back & will buy more to go back again. Parking can be a bit annoying, as there are a lot of stores & a supermarket in this parking lot, but it's worth it. I wish Mita all the success in the world to eventually have her own location! read more
