When COVID-19 first hit, my sensitive skin was overwhelmed with the daily use of masks. Dr. Herman-Oreste diagnosed my issue and set me up with a plan. After 2 HydraFacials with blue light therapy and a photo facial combined with the use of ALO products at home, my maskne is gone! Dr. Herman-Oreste even recommended masks for me to use that do not irritate my face. I have used several moisturizers in my day, but ALO's oil free moisturizer is by far the best! ALO's products leave my skin feeling clean and quenched. The skin relief complex is by far my favorite skincare product I own. I feel naked without it!! It calms down any redness or irritation I have. I carry it in my purse on days I know I will be wearing a mask for an extended period of time, as well as cleansing wipes that Dr. Herman-Oreste recommended to me. They carved lines with a microdermabrasion tool into my face and added a pumpkin acid mask on top of the already severe damaged skin. I ended up with a severe burn to my face. I have lived every day with the consequences of this act. Post burn, the lines and hyperpigmentation has been a challenge and it will only get worse with age as it seems. Not only did they not compensate me for the damage and all the money I had to spend on medical treatments, they actually charged me for the damage they did. I regret not suing them.

This was the single biggest cosmetic mistake I have ever made…read more I had tear trough filler done here, and it was performed incorrectly. The filler was injected too superficially, which was immediately obvious after the procedure. The placement was wrong, the contour was distorted, and I knew right away something was not right. I had to seek care from a plastic surgeon shortly afterward, but the damage had already been done. Years later, I am still dealing with under-eye issues that I did not have before -- including chronic puffiness, unevenness, and disruption of the natural under-eye contour. This procedure fundamentally changed how my face looks, and not in a subtle way. Tear trough filler is a high-risk procedure that requires advanced anatomical knowledge and extremely precise technique. Based on my experience, this provider did not have the skill required to perform it safely. This was not a matter of preference or "liking the result" -- it was poor placement that caused long-term problems. I deeply regret trusting this provider. I would strongly caution anyone considering tear trough filler here, or honestly any filler here at all. No one warned me of the risks, and no one should have to live for years with the consequences of a preventable mistake.
