There were three weddings/receptions going on at once during my friend's festivities - one of which was in the area that was supposed to be reserved for post-wedding photos opps for our crew leaving us dilly dallying in the parking lot for a half an hour before heading in. The facility itself was clean and basic in a convention center kind of way. However, it appeared that the outdoor space might have more character. Because there was so much going on within the space you could step to the door of one reception and hear the music of the other reception down the hall (perfect wedding crashing opportunity?). -Food: not too shabby! I'd highly recommend adding the green beans and carrots sides to your menu - I may or may not have went back for seconds. -This seems to be the perfect spot for those wanting to hit the whole shebang - bar, food, venue in one swipe. The air conditioner fan was extremely noisy and if I wasn't so tired I would have asked for a different room. It also sounded like it was making the same noises as a car that could barely run. The bathtub/shower was not the best and the water didn't have pressure. The restroom in the lobby area had ants crawling all over. The continental breakfast was cold but the beverages were still good. I've been in worse hotels but this one was a bummer after staying at the same chain hotel, that was much better, in a different state. One positive is the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

It is always clean and quiet, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There are outlets conveniently located for laptops and phone charging. The breakfast is much better than average. Front desk clerk Lynne (man) states we could have cake and ice cream in the room but not at the pool and no "gaggle of girls". At this point I booked a room. We were in the room not 20 minutes, Lynne calls and states Fire Marshall forbids us to have more than 4 guests in any room at any time, and we have 10 minutes to pack up and leave or the police will be called. I asked to book another room or the adjoining room, he refused and stated they were completely booked. The only persons actually sleeping there all night was going to be 2 adults and 2 kids, only four kids would be swimming for couple of hours. I know persons, whom the supervisor Tamara didn't want to hear about, who have stayed here long term tell me that Lynne (man) is very difficult and has "god" complex. He would watch guests like a hawk and reprimand them, like they were children, at inappropriate things or times. I was not charged for the room, but what is extremely funny was that I called another IHG Hotel and told them I wanted a room for 4 kids and 2 adults (I added girls to not get confused like at Staybridge) and they booked me exact same room type, two queen beds and queen sofa sleeper) for $4 more that night. We had a great time, they could have cared less that we brought in cake and ice cream. Nice clean hotel and nice rooms, but don't appreciate the treatment of both adults and children. At no time did the girls leave the room after we got there either, so no one was running the hotel, per say.

The ground floor has a decent bar, kitchen, restrooms and seating for around 100, and a small beer garden outside. Here again, some plants would be a welcome addition. Everything is German themed, of course, however the wedding we attended featured a very good Tex-Mex menu, so don't worry if you're not a fan of Wiener schnitzel and sauerkraut. Lindsay is the most helpful and so knowledgeable. Our son got married here in October and this place was perfect. We were so at ease all day. We even had the rehearsal and dinner here and all the females in the bridal party got to stay at the amazingly renovated farmhouse that's on property. It was fabulous.
