I confidently ordered the wrong drink like I knew what I was doing, and instead of publicly roasting me, Fish cheerfully remade it without a hint of annoyance. The place was packed, but somehow the service was still fast. Drinks were fantastic -- strong enough to make me think I could dance, balanced enough to make me think I had sophisticated taste. Sneaky Tiki Bar absolutely nails the vibe: fun atmosphere, great drinks, and bartenders who treat your bad decisions like a minor inconvenience instead of a character flaw. Fish deserves a trophy, or at minimum his own cocktail named after him.

If you're looking for amazing local beach vibe bar with a twist this is it. It's definitely a local bar. It is pretty hidden and part of the RV resort, but is open to the public. There is no public parking on the lot however and you will be towed. Good news for you is you can walk from the nearby hotels or park in the lot next door where three hours are free then scan and pay. Some of these negative reviews are wild. I haven't seen one bad thing since we've been. We're planning on going again tonight for their trivia night. Drinks are fantastic, bartenders so fun, engaging and all the people we met just as awesome. They are dog friendly as well. You can't beat the vibes, photo ops and beach vibe. There are wings, bean bags, cozy chairs, TVs when weather permits and when a storm hit the other night we did storm shots. IYKYK. There are bathrooms, but be aware they're port o potties unless staying on site in your RV. Prices are good, you can even buy a cup with their name that is insulated, gives drink discount . Seriously the best stop on the beach. What's better than supporting local on top of it.

I can't tell you how many nights I spent here in my 20's and I always had a great time! Service can be "meh" but it's always busy so it's kind of what you'd expect. When visiting in July, I had a few days when I stopped by for a bushwhacker and a few nights where I wanted to just listen to music and dance with some friends. Such a great time! I'd recommend purchasing their reusable mug for you are going to visit a few times week so that you can get a discount on refilling it. Trust me, it's a better deal to do it that way. And feel free to ask for some mixed daiquiris and see what kind of concoction you come up with. Bartenders are usually pretty good at blending and mixing their drinks so just ask for a recommendation. I like the Orange Dream and Topical Itch and the Bushwhacker and Pina Colado and Rum Runner...but honestly, you can just enjoy any of them on their own. But it's a good idea to mix a few just to try different flavors. Enjoy! They do check ID's so be sure you have one with you! It's easy to spend the day at the beach (where you don't need your ID) and then stop by here for a drink and if you don't have your ID, you can't get a drink. Lesson learned. Never made that mistake again. Such a fun spot. Enjoy a drink. Enjoy the music. Enjoy the beautiful weather on the beach. Cheers!

This review is limited to my personal Experience…read more We visited Pensacola Beach the First week of June(2026) and no matter where we went, there was some indication somewhere giving credit to Sandshaker as the birthplace of Pensacola's "Famous" Bushwacker Cocktail. I had tried it a few other places and was not super impressed. Our hotel was very close to Sandshakers, so one of the days we were visiting, I decided to go get a couple Bushwackers for my Wife and I to try while the kids swam. Setting the scene... I walked into Sandshakers around... 130-2pm. Upon entering, not a soul in sight. The place seemed closed as it was VERY dark and quiet. I walked around until finding a small bar with a few patrons. All of which were pretty old (I am 40) and they all had to be in their late 60s to early 80s. I sat down, with the idea that i would be in and out. welp... I was wrong. The bartender was nowhere to be found, so I got to listen to a bunch of EXTREMELY crass men talk a bunch of nonsense as if they were teenagers that just learned to swear. It was very awkward. I would say 10 minutes passed and I decided that I had enough of it and was going to leave, as i stood up a woman appeared from the back and said "perfect timing" maybe thinking I had just arrived. I asked for two bushwackers and then got to see her exchange a few insults with the clearly regular patrons before getting my drinks and paying. I high tailed it out of there, but not being heading her warning that all of the booze was on the bottom and to make sure its properly stirred or it wont be very good. I walked back to the hotel and gave my wife the same instructions, we stirred as much as we thought was needed but were both met with straight alcohol. I guess not something most complain about because thats the purpose of drinking booze right? But they weren't good. We both struggled to drink ours and they eventually melted and we pitched them. Seems strange that the alcohol wasn't floated rather than put in first but I am no expert. We did not return and I did not get the hype. The Key lime Colada at Flounders was exponentially better than said Bushwacker.
