There's always a warm welcome (even when it's busy), the prices aren't outrageous and you can usually find somewhere and plot or socialize with strangers. We chose some specials and were very pleased with what we were served. Some good ingredients, excellent preparation and presentation. Some of the components are locally sourced - I know everyone keeps banding on about that, but I live in Witney and want to see it thrive. The service was excellent and attentive, but not so attentive you feel like someone's keeping an eye on you. When the bill came, another pleasant surprise. I believe that it's busy every night of the week, the clientele seems to be a good mix of young and old. If you want somewhere for food, a couple of drinks with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, you'd have to travel quite a long way to find better.
