You can see the store front from the roads if you're looking towards the plaza. The sign is done in a pretty font befitting its name. There's plenty of free parking. The lot is accessible from Steeles. The store looks deceptively small from the outside. It's long, and has a second floor. This specialty shop has just about anything you may require for all your sewing and thread craft needs. Not only will you find supplies, you will be able to avail yourself of the knowledge the owner and staff can share. In fact, they teach their own classes here. When we came in looking for a new pair of scissors, we enjoyed browsing the books, patterns, and accessories as well. We did find that it's a little more expensive for some things than going to the Fabricland up Weston Road, but we enjoyed the better atmosphere and the satisfaction of supporting a local business. If you don't want the sterile shopping experience of a chain like Fabricland, this place is for you. The inspiration and knowledge you will come away with from here instead make it worth repeat returns.

Since they had those yarn in their website ; however, they don't carry them in the store. They said that I must buy them as a bag (10 balls for a bag, and cost around $270) I wish to buy few balls and went there to ask. The lady said that she can take one bag of the yarn to the store, and let me touch and feel it if I really want to buy a bag of it. So, that means, I can't buy them individually anyway, a bit disappointed. I don't need so many balls. The service is ok, not as friendly as other local yarn stores....

All of the yarn is high end and beautiful but all very similar. They also have good quality needles. The service here is not great. The women that work there later in the evening are very rude; unfriendly and it always seems like they're just waiting for you to leave. If you like any pattern inside, she is willing to make a copy for you (and if you buy her yarn at the same time). I think she is pretty good in crocheting as she stocked up some (VERY FINE) crochet yarn with are very elegant and gorgeous. Although the shop is small, but it's always pretty crowded with knitters there. They sit there, chat, and knit. And the store lady is more than happy to teach how to read Japanese patterns as well. She sometimes have some sales on yarn , and she put them in the bins at the entrance. It's a good place to go, as she has new items for every season.
