The teachers are warm and inviting and truly care about their little ones daily needs as well as looking into the future and preparing them for the next step. Curriculum is being updated and teachers are attending trainings and 1 on 1 assistance with their lesson plans. The four season porch is absolutely unique and something I have never seen in a daycare. The children are able to experience all elements without getting muddy and bit by mosquitoes. I also appreciated that Brighter Beginnings utilizes Classdojo. Not all schools use this. During the day, teachers can post updates, and pictures of what the children are learning in class and the fun they are having outside. Classdojo makes communicating with the teachers very easy and puts working parents minds at ease when they can see their kids happy and engaged. Our daughter has such a strong bond with her and is always happy and smiling when I pick her up at the end of the day, Ms Virgen truly treats those babies as if they were her own and I couldn't have asked for anything better! Her and Nicole (who is also amazing!) read books to the babies, do arts and crafts, and make sure all babies get equal love and attention. The room is cleaned daily and their sick policies protect our little ones from spreading illnesses. They have a huge fenced in backyard with play structures and activities for the older kids. They frequently take the babies on walks with strollers. They also post the cutest pictures on their daycare app, which is nice to see while you are away from your child. Lily is awesome and runs a great facility. She is easy to work with and has always accommodated our needs without issue. My boyfriend and I both cried on our daughter's last day here (due to relocation). It was truly heartbreaking leaving this place behind as we knew how loved and well taken care of our daughter was in their care. I have nothing but great things to say and if you get lucky enough to send your child here, I promise you and your kiddo will be more than pleased with your experience

And unlike two other reviewers here, I've actually been inside the building LOL. You'll not find a warmer kinder staff than at this Y. You will be greeted as a friend. The equipment they have is amazing for the size of the place. No gym can be everything to all people, but this Y really does a pretty fantastic job of providing equipment to build a healthy heart, strong muscles and flexibility. There are tons of classes too. Up do a dozen during the week and 4-6 on the weekends (including programs for kids.) I always work a little harder when being encouraged by a pro and the instructors are legend. Everything from crazy hard bootcamp to gentle spinning. This Y has two pools. I'm not a swimmer, but the pools are a large part of the place so I thought I should mention it. Everyone who goes to a gym regularly knows what happens to the cardio equipment in January and February. This Y is no different. In those months, don't expect to come a peak hour and not say 'excuse me' to a person or two. It's a very family friendly place too. I don't have kids, but it's fun to see kids of all ages, sizes, colors and shapes in the front desk area on their way in or out and I feel good about being a member because the Y offers financial assistance to anyone in need. They don't turn anyone away who needs them. And there a lot of folks in our community who need help preventing chronic diseases!
