Finally hitting weights again. I have a gym at work. but it's not always practical to go all the…read moreway out there when I can hit something closer. We signed up for a family membership after we found out we would get discounts on our sons daycare. What?!? Score! We were even more stoked to discover the veteran discount. Double whammy!!! The gym is old, but not bad. You can pretty much do everything you need for your workout. There's plenty of cardio machines, free weights, weight machines and matted areas for stretches. The machines were old, but I thought it worked to my advantage, the newer ones prevent me from adjusting it perfectly for me. I'm 4'11", I would love tone able to do full leg presses, vice partial leg bents. I was able to do all my supersets without fighting or waiting on a machine. Maybe it's due to the age of the crowd, they were either really old or really young. Score for me. My son goes to daycare here and he loves it. They are really great and the hours work out perfectly for my work schedule. He can be there as early as 7:30 and as late as 5:30 pm. They have a really structured schedule and here's the best part... They help with potty training at no extra cost! This girl is happy.

I'm really disappointed with how my daughter's party went at Pioneer Athletics. We had an amazing…read moreexperience in 2020 at her first birthday party here, so I was excited to come back. Also my daughters had attended classes for 4 years there. But this time, it was a whole different vibe. Chris was super helpful when we were setting up , but once the party started, Taylor took over and it was a complete flip . She was talking to the kids in a tone that was scolding. It felt like they were in trouble or something. It wasn't just the kids, she was short and rude with the grown ups too. I get it, safety first, but it's a birthday party, not boot camp! When we were trying to celebrate and have some fun, Taylor was stressing about everything and we were being treated like children. Even me, the person who paid for party was not allowed to touch pizza and cake without her basically blocking my access as if it was her very own personal pizza and cake. The worst part was when my daughter was sitting on her cousin's lap for the Happy Birthday song and Taylor scolded and embarrassed telling her to get off and sit down. My daughter looks so sad in all of her photos and videos in some pictures she's even visibly crying. What really bothered me was that we were paying customers, just like the VIP party that was coming next. We had paid for our time slot, and we were still within it. But despite that, the staff kept mentioning the upcoming VIP party, making us feel like we were being pushed out the door. Our business wasn't valued! I hope Pioneer Athletics takes this feedback seriously and works on making their parties more fun and less stressful. I want my daughter to have amazing memories of her birthday, not memories of a host yelling at her. This experience was a letdown, and it's unfortunate because there were 14 other kids at her party with their parents and they could have considered having their parties there or enrolling their children. However, they shared the same concerns as I did. Here are my suggestions: I think Pioneer Athletics should consider revising their party format to allow for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. With the current timeframe for obstacles , everything felt rushed the kids didn't get much time in the ninja portion and that was the whole point. The kids were just getting into the activities when it was time to wrap up, and it's clear the host were stressed about getting everything done on timez. If they could offer longer party slots or more flexible scheduling, I think it would make a huge difference. That way, everyone could enjoy the celebration without feeling like they're being herded through activities and out the door. It's definitely something to think about if they want to create a more positive and memorable experience for their party guests.

Staff shows up after camp is supposed to start. My daughter didn't want to go back after day 1. Staff is friendly but not very helpful to new campers. The camp councilors are rough with the kids in the way they talk to them, some of the kids that go there are rough with the way the interact with there peers! I was extremely disappointed because everyone gives this camp great reviews and I don't have a great review to give! my son has been away to Kung fu camps before but I just thought camp Weber would offer so much more as they divide kids into age groups and do activities all day long. I'm going to try roots as my next camp and hope for a better review from my son. Also I know it's hard to keep track of all the kids belongings but my son lost all his extra clothes, towels, lunch box's, etc. no one helps them make sure they have all there things and forget about asking the camp councilors to remember a kids name! my son was car pick up. I watched camp councilors chase down buses because they put the wrong kid on the buss! they even handed me the wrong child I was so mad because I watched them yell at my kid to go sit back down they told him no one called his name as this little boy comes running over to me and asks if im looking for him. yes they check ids but that's before you pick up a child so you can always take someone else's kid home! I was so mad! mistakes happen but they need to set up a different time frame from the bus pick up to parent pick up so it's less of a disaster! one of the camp councilors is bringing in dounuts but only the good kids will be getting them, I'm sure my son will be getting one I'm just not sure how other parents are with there kid being singled out like that. that's just my experience with the camp though. like I said I've heard good reviews none ever said anything bad about the camp. I just feel like it's a little to rough more like a boot camp! my son doesn't ever want to go back and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to sign him up again.
