It did feel a little less like a structured lesson and more like the instructors just line dancing for the crowd to follow along. Still fun, just not super beginner-focused if you're hoping for step-by-step teaching. I've heard PBR Cary is better for the lesson part but their dances are more so exclusive to their bar. The space itself is pretty big, but the dance floor definitely gets crowded especially as the night goes on.

I have never been to a metal show where you could feel the AC at all. It did get warm during the sets, but the AC was cranking and you could get some nice cool air if you needed. Next was the security. They were professional, courteous, and made the experience seamless and fun. I felt safe and relaxed the whole time which is saying something at a metal show. The bar tenders were all friendly and efficient. They did not bat an eye when I ordered my strange metal show cocktail (whiskey and redbull). Finally the layout of the venue is the best I have experienced. The designated walkways and the little wall separating the pit from the rest of the venue was so smart. Can't wait to come back!

So, I added the listing to Yelp. Once, I arrived, I pulled into the parking lot and coincidentally parked close to Cooper Greers pickup truck. I asked him about the place and what kinds of music he plays. Anyway, he talked me into coming inside and I was very glad I did. He put on a great show. He indeed has a great band. I would definitely go see him again. They also have a bunch of TVs in here including some big ones that had live sports ball games on them at the time of visiting. You can also dance to the country music that the band is playing. I saw a lot of people country line dancing and having a good time. Furthermore, they have a pool table ( see photos). I also saw another unknown game table. I saw at least one video game machine in here. They have a full bar in here where you can beer, wine or mixed cocktails. I even got a margarita.

I was ecstatic when I learned he would finally visit the US for a tour and Raleigh was a stop. The staff did an amazing job controlling the crowds, providing hospitality, and safety. I parked in General Admission parking where I prepaid $14.00, it's the very last lot on your right. Entering was easy, getting out was a nightmare. Staff is needed following the event to direct the cars out of the spaces. There are other options for parking that will get you closer to the venue for $20+. We stood in line for about 45 minutes prior to entry. The staff managed the check in process very well. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We were offered filtered water from the cooler jug where we stood for the show facing the front stage by the speakers & entrance to the back stage. Closest to bar and the exit. Cocktails were served in a cocktail shaker were sold for $22. We had an excellent view of the show. There is upper balcony seating for an additional Upgrade price, if you do not want to stand or be in the midst of the action. The Jupiter Lounge provides an elevated experience prior to show. Allowing you to unwind and have a cocktail. The temperature in the building was set to Alaska. Bring a light jacket and a small clear purse. I really enjoyed this show. The lighting and sound were terrific ! Memories were made. Thank you to the staff.

The Haw River ballroom crowd is a very particular type of aging scene person crowd where a lot of people like to bring their kids and force them to listen to the music they like. A lot of dudes not realizing they are jamming you in the back with their craft beers or women flipping back their hair into your face time and again. This place is really a haul even for people in Durham where it's past Carrboro and in the middle of nowhere. The restrooms are pretty nasty. I do love that they have a coffee bar upstairs that has a decent menu and honestly something I liked having access to at a concert and feeling a little tired as I waited for the headlining performer.

At this time we were the only customers. Our server brought us the menus and glasses of water. After a little extra time, son needed extra time. We ordered the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs with coleslaw and Mac-n-cheese. I ordered the brisket bowl. We had a short wait before everything came out. Everything looked great. The meat literally slid off the bones and the ribs were very tasty. I sampled everything. The slaw was good and even the Mac-n-cheese was good. My brisket bowl was delicious. Brisket over a bed of rice, black beans, blue cheese crumbles, tortilla chips, and a sauce. All the flavors played well together and satisfied my taste buds. It was just enough food. First time here and we both enjoyed the experience. We would definitely eat here again. Recommend giving this place a try.

It was a great value at $35 on a Saturday! The course was in good shape. It is pretty flat with wide, forgiving fairways. The greens were in nice shape and fairly quick. I was most impressed by the friendliness of the staff and fellow golfers. There were three foursomes stacked up on the first tee at 0930 Saturday. The starter allowed us to start on the back nine instead of waiting. As we were a twosome, we caught up to a couple of groups ahead of us. Both allowed us to play through without making us feel rushed. This has not been my experience at other golf courses in the area. We'll definitely be back.
