I called to make the appointment and the staff was super friendly. I love that they have late appointments (5pm) so I don't have to ask off work or anything. Once there, despite it being super busy, the staff was helpful and fast. They have you fill out a questionnaire. Dr. Kasbaum was great explaining the X-ray to me and answering all my silly questions. While you wait, they hook you up to these electrical pads for muscle stimulation. It's tingly and fun! The adjustment felt SO great! I'm pretty sure every bone in my neck popped. It did not hurt at all and all my pain went away! I kept feeling like I would somehow mess it up afterwards. I have tried many conservative treatments, including foam rolling, stretching, chiropractic care, massage, 8 weeks of physical therapy, and orthotics. While these all helped, overall I didn't feel I was improving as much as I could. I hated that I wasn't able to start training again due to the pain. A coworker told me about IASTM, also known as the Graston Technique, I did research on this type of treatment for about a week and found a lot of really helpful information, but I still wasn't sure if this treatment would be right for me. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Anson at Recover to discuss options and find a treatment plan that might give me some relief.
