Chiropractors training ground Let me first say that I'm a consistent client. Every time I turn into a stress ball one or two visits to the joint and I'm all straight. That said, I fairly certain I've never had the same chiropractor twice. It's always a new chiropractor "possibly right out of school" sometimes but either way if you're ok with that then this is a great place for a fairly affordable adjustment. If your needs are something more long term then there are better places for that. Overall I've had some chiropractors that I'd follow to the moon others that satisfied my insanely picky wants and needs and 1 or 2 that need lots of work on their craft and bedside manner. I really liked coming here to see Dr Doug. He has a very intuitive feel for chiropractic, and I actually left a 5-star review for this place previously. The staff were fine & seemed pretty nice. However, when I turned 65 & Medicare eligible, I was given a form to sign about not filing with insurance. I did not understand this at all, since The Joint only took out-of-pocket payments & did not file with insurance. It wasn't even the fact that they made the request, it was how nasty they got when I asked questions about it. I have not been back. read more

My first two visits with Dr. Doug were good. My 2nd visit within the same week I was informed Dr. Doug was moving. Continued going for about 6 weeks in total as I signed up for 2 months. Each visit after Doug was with a new random "doctor", the last of which caused some severe pain and other issues that I didn't have when starting treatment. As if this isn't enough, the main reason for my bad review is I misunderstood the "two month minimum" that I was signing up for. Paid for an additional two months without being aware I was being charged or knowing I could even use the services. When I saw these charges on my credit card statement I was told I needed to physically go into the office in order to cancel this "membership" that they were so sure I was educated on. I didn't request a refund though I feel these are reasonable grounds to do so. Instead, had to call Rachelle the receptionist who spent 15 mins passive/aggressively thanking me for my feedback and offering nothing in return past a series of pointless and repetitive questions. Overall, this was a very negative experience and will not be using their services in the future. Having used multiple chiropractors in the past, it is clear these "doctors" are less capable then others and the billing system is a scam. read more

Since these ppl wasted my time, I hope I can save someone else some time. Even if you have insurance and /or are paying out of pocket, if you are injured at work or in an accident, you may be refused service! I'm giving one star, because I explained exactly the situation upon booking the appointment. I explained I'm in current pain and looking for a provider. At ten am, I was told I could be seen today at 2pm. I work 3rd shift, so this is obvi an inconvenient time that requires me to lose needed sleep. I stayed up and drove to a diff town to make the appointment, to be told I can't be serviced, because I sustained injury at my POE. Now, I'm tired AF, with a ton of back pain, and no other options since they've wasted my day. It's too late to get in elsewhere, and if I were to find anywhere this late, I would not be able to get any sleep at all before work this evening. The front desk receptionist referred me to another clinic. I may try, but I'm not sure I want to be bothered, if the initial staff is incompetent and either: unable to perform basic communications, or deliberately misleading/shiesty vibes. Very annoyed. That level of info is so basic, it could have been stated upfront. The other clinics they gave me contact info for are closed (shorter work hours) right now, so that's another barrier that will prevent me from accessing any type of treatment and relief today or tomorrow read more

Dr. Nick is the best! He doesn't rush though things. He gives advice on how to help you feel better, he gave me exercises to do at home for my neck. I've been to several Joints and it just like an assembly line, just in and out. Like a drive through at Mcdonald's. I even had one Doctor walk away while I was talking to him. Terrible! "Doctor" James attempted to adjust my neck after I explained to him I was currently experiencing neck spasms (I even brought in my X-rays). That went in one ear and out the other. He then tried to adjust my neck multiple times without any luck he continued to jerk my head back and forth without getting one Pop!! He then told me I need to come back to him 2x a week! I left in WAY worse shape then when I came in! I was in so much pain I couldn't help but tear up at the front desk. -a week later- I went to the neurologist this morning Bc I was having extreme pain from the top of my neck to the top of my forehead. This pain began the night after j I went to The Joint, "Doctor" James pinched (layman's term) a very important nerve in my neck that runs through to the top of head usually causing permanent damage to the area. On top of that, he had HORRIBLE bedside manor. I will never go here ever again and neither will anyone I know! read more

The Joint in Creve Couer is great. Dr Nick and Dr Allie did a great job. I am a 55 year old broken down runner. I went in with back pain and a pinched nerve causing arm numbness. Walked out feeling much better. Completed my 3rd visit today. This was the best chiropractic care i have received. Highly recommend! read more

If you just need a simple adjustment then this is the place. If you go in with an actual problem I don't recommend. I was having sever sciatic nerve pain. I went for 5 weeks. The man doctor made it worse. The women doc really tried help. On the day I deemed my last visit- I was getting adjusted and in a lot of pain. Dr Kristen did a few adjustments and stretches. Then she peeked at her computer and stated. There is no one waiting. So I can do a few more things to help you. What!!! I never signed or saw anything stating my visit was on a time clock. Why would you not do everything thing you can to try to help me so word gets out that you are wonderful? That's when I realized the Joint is about quantity not quality. My regular chiropractor was unable to get me in and I needed adjusting really bad. After google searching, I found "The Joint". It's the same concept as the franchise massage places, only with Chiropractic services. I was a little hesitant, but after seeing the summary here about the Dr. on staff at this location, I decided to give it a try. The girl at the front desk was friendly, and after filling out some paperwork, my wait was only about 5 minutes. There was one patient in front of me. So I was very happy with the speed of service. After being taken to the main exam area, I had a brief "getting to know you" discussion with the Dr, he gave my spine a quick exam and then gave me a GREAT adjustment! It was just what I needed! Be aware that they will try to up-sell you on "discounted" maintenance plans. But if you need a lot of adjustments like I do, it might be worth it. I will be back for sure! read more
