I'm not a regular yelper. But this is so irritating, I feel like others should know so they don't waste their time too. I'm a regular at a different location. I recently moved and this is the closest one to me. I like the convenience and ease of being able to walk due to my work schedule. However, this location makes it impossible to be seen. This is the fourth time in a row I've come in and have walked out two mins later because they didn't have time for me. Today, I was turned away because the Dr. Wouldn't have time to treat me before lunch. Even though I had called earlier and they told me if I was a returning patient to just show up at a certain time. I did, and then was turned away and told to come back after lunch. After I had rearranged my day to make time for this. What is the point of having a walk-in service and if I have to make an apt to be seen (which doesn't work for my schedule because of my job, hence why the walk-in option is convenient) or returning at later time because it's inconvenient for the business. I hate to say it, but highly inconvenient and I do not recommend this location. read more

I moved to Riverside just about a year ago and started coming here shortly after. Dr. Maddi has got to be the best chiropractor I've ever been to. The Dr. here was very kind to me, and definitely cares a lot about his patients. What I appreciate most about him is that when he realized he didn't know how to help my particular situation, he referred me to another chiropractor. I am never coming back to this place again. I am 7 months pregnant and in a lot of pain with my hips. My initial consultation was with a caring, patient and attentive doctor. I saw him for a few more appointments and unfortunately my perspective of the joint chiropractic was changed today when I went in for a visit. It wasn't the same doctor I usually see and this doctor was flat out terrible. He asked me where my main pain was and only tried to adjust my back and neck forcing the cracks and rushing me throughout the process. He did not focus on my pain at all because he got frustrated and told me that I need to go workout more and not act like I'm a delicate flower. I am a high risk pregnant woman who was hardly cleared to see the chiropractor and was told I can only walk/stretch for this pregnancy nothing crazy like this man told me to do. This made me feel extremely offended. I am writing this review hours later in so much pain from the force he put on me and the way he tried to crack my neck has me so stiff and with a headache. I will be canceling my membership tomorrow and go to a better chiropractic facility that will actually be attentive to my needs. read more

Terrible place. In past 4 years, closed at odd times and their posted hours online are not accurate. I once traveled 15 miles on a Saturday, after checking their hours online and when I got there, they were closed, at 2pm. Hour and a half lunch I was told, after I waited. Closed all day today, also,at 2:30pm after a 15 mile trip, and again, website said they were open. You can't even call and get accurate hours. The recording says one thing, but you're taking a chance if you drive there. Great experience with both doctors and they didn't sell you on things you don't need. Have had lower back pain for months trying to do advanced yoga ( I'm clearly not at that level) Kaiser just gave me pills... But no tools to actually fix what was injured. I found out with x-rays and chiropractic that I have one hip that's alot higher than it should be, because of an old injury. Glad to know there is a fix instead of just taking pills.... Do not come here if you're pregnant. I was told to come on Saturdays because the chiropractor on Saturdays works with pregnant women. I expected an actual evaluation or consult since I was a brand new patient. She spent 5 minutes with me, maybe 10. She said did what she could but they do not have the equipment needed for pregnancy. I told her and the staff up front that i was still in pain- the whole reason why I came. They basically took my payment and shrugged their shoulders. The lady up front said she would look into what they could do, but I don't have a lot of faith in a company that tells me to come in, without the equipment necessary, and then STILL takes my payment knowing they didn't service me well! I nearly wanted to cry. I am very disappointed. I realize that not every place is equipped to care for pregnant ladies, I just wish they were honest so I didn't waste my time and money. Review: I am a SAHM of two girls. 4 1/2 and 18 mo.-ish. I had been to a chiropractor before, close after giving birth to my second daughter, and it provided some relief of tension, and I did feel a bit more balanced, but the chiropractor didn't really explain much behind anything that might have been going on to cause different things, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes on my first visit. It was my first time getting adjusted, and I found it interesting. After going back to that chiro once more, I lost interest and hadn't gone back. More recently I had a massage where the masseuse commented on how my back was "all twisted or something". I knew what she was talking about. It had become a regular thing for me to feel a tightness in various areas of my back, despite getting somewhat frequent massages, and cracking my back to the right to relieve tension. I also noticed on my own that I was putting more weight on my left versus right foot. All of this is new for me. I had a history of dancing, and have never felt as "off" in my life. After two kids, changes in my body shape and balance really started showing itself. Anyway, after waiting a while longer than expected initially, Dr. Majdi took a ton of time to talk with me and understand what was going on with my body. He recommended an x-ray of my back, which seemed to be showing signs of scoliosis, before moving forward. This was a completely different experience than the one I had going to a well-known chiropractor serving Riverside previously. This guy actually explains things in an understandable way, while still explaining in detail, what he recommends to solve your issue, or at least help. This is only the beginning of my journey, but it was a worthwhile experience. Will update more as I start getting adjustments. read more

I have been coming to this location for a couple years and Dr. Skane did a fantastic adjustment every time. Several months ago I returned after freezing my account due to the pandemic and there have been a series of other chiropractors there. The current one is the worst of all. I like to give people a chance and the three times I've recently come in for a basic adjustment, there was conveniently no waiting. Why then was the chiropractor lounging on his phone in the adjustment room, looked annoyed when I, a patient, waited back there to be adjusted, roughly hurried through a minimal adjustment, barely grunted a word to me, and as I gathered my purse and glasses to head out, was already back to scrolling on his phone?! He did a mediocre job at best and was rushed and rough even though no one else was waiting. I can't believe he's actually a health professional and I plan to freeze or cancel my plan if this chiropractor is my only option there. read more

I have had lower back issues (disc bulge) for almost 2 year and tried many things including physical therapy and chiropractic. My last chiropractic experience was so painful and gave me a bad impression about it, so I did not continue back then. Dr. Maddi is a miracle worker. Let me tell you why. I have had migraines for the past 10 years ~ Minimum 3X a week. Life was hell. Tried every possible solution. Pain pills, Excedrin, massages, water treatments, ice packs, etc. Everything .. until I found out about chiropractic therapy. Found out that this could help. So being the $$ saver I am, I tried to look up prices and found out that the Joint membership is a money saver in the long run if you want help on a monthly/pro long service. This is where Dr. Maddi at the Riverside Plaza is a miracle worker. I tried at least 10-15 different Joints around or 50 miles from my area. I don't mind the travel as long as my head aches are gone. All the doctor, I would say were good. They did their job, patched you up.. then sent you home to see you again next visit. Dr. Maddi treated me like a personal friend. Massages my neck at times when he notices it is tense to better adjust my spine. Ice packs my lower back when needed because I had a lower back problem at one point in time. This man even adjusted me when he had a wrist and back injury.. when most doctors would call off or just adjust the minimum. He staff are so welcoming and hospitable, especially Karen. Always brings a smile to my face. I have been with him for 2 years AND I travel 30 min to and from my home. Even though I have 2 joints closer to me,,, just because he is that amazing. When I first arrived several months ago the person at the front desk had a small apointment issue. Dr. Majdi took care of me right away. He has been very thorough at every visit. He has even stayed during his lunch time at 3:30 to take care of me. The atmosphere is nice and doesn't feel like a stuffy Doctors office. It's very easy to just show up and get seen. Dr Maddi is a really cool guy... And a great, comprehensive Chiropractor. I actually brought my MRI results and images into him to see what he was able to do. He read the notes, looked at the images and consequently gave me a long-term treatment plan that ultimately gives me hope. My wife and my two youngest kids come and see Dr Maddi as well. My 5 and 7 year olds love coming here; and have received pain relief from a bad nights sleep or a soccer injury. This was my first experience visiting a chiropractor. The only siniliar experience was a sports massage therapist that was somewhat similiar. Dr. Majdi was so so helpful and took his time throughout the process to educate me on what he was doing. I have a few lower back and sciatica issues due to cycling / running. He was able to do some adjustments on me that were immediately felt and the results were amazing....that was yesterday and today I feel even better. I am a dental hygienist which causes chronic pain on my neck and shoulders. I have tried chiropractors before but didn't receive much relief. After a week of severe pain, I gave in and decided to try a chiropractor again. I walked into the joint without an appointment and was seen promptly by the dr. As other reviews have stated, you do need to go to another facility for your X-rays. I had 3 X-rays of my back taken and the cost was only $40. Which is cheaper than a set of dental X-rays . The dr is very thorough. He takes his time with you and your adjustment is never rushed no matter how busy he is. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but not long and is worth it for the attention and care the dr gives. I highly recommend this office! read more
