I decided to cancel last September 2024. I mailed a written notice to them to cancel, which they never responded to. I've had to dispute the their EVERY MONTH, since last October. Despite the written notice and now multiple disputed transactions, they STILL CONTINUE to hit my card EVERY MONTH - even hitting it twice in April! I just disputed 2 more charges from them. Dirty place, rude "head doctor". They don't wipe the mats down you lie on in between each customer. So you're lying down in the same sweat and human residue from the person before. I asked for a refund after witnessing this after one session. Travis Gearhart refused to refund me, canceled my membership so I couldn't go to another location, and then said i am not allowed back and gave me no refund. Came to see Dr. Nick on Monday. Fantastic. Massage, stretch, nice solid cracks. Came to see Dr. John on Friday. Never got to see him. There were 2 people checking in who took about 15 minutes arguing about insurance, calling their insurance company, just holding up the line. I checked in while these 2 were taking up everyone's time b/c of their unpreparedness. Then, the female of the couple scanned her card after mine to check in. So, now my name gets moved to second, and the Dr. John asks me if I'm new. I say no, I'm a regular, just need a quick adjustment. In my opinion, he should have taken me into the queue as the front desk person spent 20 min dealing with the unprepared couple and made me wait. Even though she and the doctor knew I checked in first and had a 3 min adjustment. The doctor came out 5 min later, looked at me, and said "oh my bad" and just walked back to the back. After 5 more minutes, 30 min in total!, I walked into the back and saw 3 more people waiting in the back. No apologies, nothing. I left. Really poor communication and slow service. I will go back to see Dr. Nick but not Dr. John and the front desk person needs to be re-trained on running a busy lobby full of people. read more

First off, I am no stranger to chiropractic care. In fact I've gotten hundreds of adjustments at a number of places. Some good and some mediocre. But I've never had a bad experience like I had at this establishment. Just canceled my membership after a long month of pain following one visit. My recommendation, don't get one. Don't go here. Don't even think about it. Go to a good chiropractor, and pay the money that they deserve. Cattle chute mentality combined with chiropractic care is not a good mix. They pitch you on monthly memberships and super cheap adjustments. Well...the old saying that you get what you pay for rings true. Had a very sore neck a month ago and my regular chiropractor wasn't available. Looking for a convenient local alternative at a good price I decided I would give it a shot. Bad idea. Spoke to the chiropractor briefly who seemed to listen a little but then did a very typical forceful back crack and then came the big kapow...Took my head and twisted it so forcefully that the neck cracking shot pain all the way down to my toes. i've had my neck cracked before a number of times and I've had as mentioned previously hundreds of adjustments. This was 100% overextended, scary, and painful. I walked out of the office in a daze feeling dizzy and nervous. For two days the dizziness and nervousness continued. All of a sudden I had a new pain in my neck that I didn't have before coupled with an overall haze. Took about a week to feel back to normal where my equilibrium was concerned. One month and one week later I still have pain from that violent neck manipulation that I received. It was forceful enough that I feared long-term consequences. Luckily, I have a good chiropractor who has been working on getting me back in order. Please, do yourself a favor, and never set foot inside the doorway of the joint. read more

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new chiropractor. After making some phone calls to a few offices, I was disappointed to be quoted prices that would have made it too difficult for me to afford going to the chiro on a regular basis. I've gone to the chiro all my life for chronic pain issues, and finding one I can actually afford without insurance is always a struggle. I have to admit, when I looked at The Joint, I was skeptical. I wasn't sure that the membership-based system at such a low price would actually provide me with the care that I need. Well I decided to go ahead and do a consultation. I met Dr Mike and was very happy with the consultation, he really listened to my needs and concerns and was clear about a course of action that would be best for me. I signed up for the monthly membership, and began coming in 2-3 times a week. Each time I come in, Dr Mike asks me about how I am feeling, how the last adjustment affected me, and whether an adjustment needs to be made to how often I'm visiting. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and I would recommend it to anyone! They have made it so affordable that I will be able to continue to get regular care, more so than ever before, so that I can avoid the kind of pain that comes with lack of regular maintenance. After being diagnosed with a herniated disc I saw Dr. Brian who in less than an hour helped me go from stooping over walking in pain to being able to stand upright for the first time in 2 days. Even though the chiropractor was very kind and seemed knowledgable, I had a tough experience here. I have has success with chiropractic care for years so when my guy moved I was happy to have a friend suggest I try The Joint. Not only did I end up in excruciating pain the morning following the adjustment, when I called and asked to be released from the 2 month plan I was upsold on, they told me they would not stop payment even though I had only been the one time. I was told I signed a contract and unless I could produce a Doctor note, I was bound to the contract. I explained I was not able to get a Dr not b/c I had to go to Urgent Care for help ( I could not walk until 9pm to even get medical help). When I went to Urgent Care for the note, I learned that these physicians do not stay in one location and can sometimes not come back for 3 weeks. SO...I am left annoyed that I was in a small amount of pain when I walked in to the chiropractor and woke up unable to move on top of $300 plus dollars they would not consider refunding me due to their contract leaves a very frustrated client. IF you do decide to go here DO NOT sign the contract!!!! See how you do first and then sign away if you find yourself with releif. read more
