About a month ago I needed a chiropractor and didn't want to drive to Cary to see the one I usually go to, so I went here. Weird how they do the adjustments out in the open, right in front of everyone. They give you a sales pitch and it's the same one they give everyone. You need to come on a regular basis, they give you some "free" visits when you sign up for their monthly package. I fell for it. The issue is, while the adjustment was ok (not nearly as good as my usual chiropractor), the wait to be seen is FOREVER!!!!! After the first adjustment, I never got another one because the wait was too long for me each time, so I cancelled the membership. My husband started going there when they first opened and ended up cancelling his membership because the wait got so long. It's like they just took on more people than they could handle and didn't care that most people don't have the time to wait so long to be seen. read more

My whole family and I have been going to this chiropractic facility/ have been seeing Dr. Charise and her staff for several months now. She not only adjust my husband and I, but also my seven-month-old, and most recently my two-year-old. My husband and I have both felt more relief then we have getting adjustments at previous chiropractic settings. You may or may not have to wait a few minutes, but it's worth it b/c the doctor takes her time with you and really finds and heals troubled areas. This staff could not be any friendlier and more pleasant to see and work with. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for chiropractic care for themselves or their children. read more

I hadn't been back to The Joint in a number of years. The provided adjustments that solved my problem, but then I picked up an air compressor and hurt my back. This led to a return visit and an adjustment that removed the pain. I came back for a follow up visit and mentioned my shoulder pain. This led to an adjustment of my shoulder that made me smile widely at the relief it brought. Quick service too! Their hours seem to be designed for working people. read more

I took my aunt there this morning because she was in terrible pain. My aunt has special needs and not easy to handle. Dr. Cherese was so good with her. Recently moved from Charleston SC so my location was there. But now that I'm in Knightdale I came to this location for the first time the other day. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed so it made me have an excruciating pain due to pinched nerves. I already developed kyphosis of my spine because my whole alignment was thrown off during my pregnancy. I saw dr Cherese and she did an adjustment on me and I already feel SO much better. I came in with no ROM in my neck, walked out being able to move it a little!!!! It was amazing.. she also signed me up for the Wellness plan which is SUPER affordable and gave me a discount because I'm a nursing student. Will definitely make this my forever location!! I spoke to a young lady at the front desk about coming to this location as I was a VA member at one point. I was told that since that membership was cancelled, I needed to register here as a new patient and she would email me the paperwork. I asked if she was sure it wouldn't create an issue in the system and she said no. I scheduled an appointment for last Thursday but I had to call and cancel because I wouldn't make it in time. I was never told this location was walk in, even when I made the original appointment. So when I returned two days later with my forms, I had to explain again that I had a previous membership in VA. The situation transpired that I was listed as a completely new patient and I was lead to believe this was their protocol. Towards the end of my session, I was told "next time don't tell anyone you are are a new patient since you were with the Joint before". I never told anyone that. I explained my situation twice. Jennifer adjusted me the first day. And unfortunately, she was a bit too heavy. She put a little too much pressure on me but I kept my silence with that. Jennifer is also the one who came at me about registering as a new patient because now I was on the system twice. The next appointment I had no issues with my second second visit. Cherese signed me in and adjusted me with no problem. The third visit, I came in during my lunch break. I signed in and for some reason the secretary told me "I fixed your account, it doesn't show two locations anymore." I said okay and kept my music on. I washed my hands and went to the waiting area. I began to notice people who had come in after me be seen first. I asked about it and was told the reason was "oh, they were in the bathroom" which is not true because I watched them come and sign in after me. A few more people went ahead of me. Eventually the lady at the front desk came back and stated that I was in the system twice and the account issue I was told had been resolved wasn't. This is after the person doing the adjustments asked about why the system wasn't telling them I was next even though I was in the back. That's another thing I noticed. I am used to being told when I was supposed to come into the back because the chiropractor is ready. That is not the case here. I explained to her that I was having issues with my hips. That they are often out of place because all of my children were rather large. She made a disgusted face and looked at another customer then rather loudly told me that was too much information. Even though I had been speaking at a low volume. I'm sorry, aren't you supposed to let them know the what issues you have and what the causes might be? I am new to tne location and they don't have my history. The 4th visit was not much better. I am used to being told when I should come back for another session. This doesn't seem to be the case. The chiropractor asked me how I felt. I explained that i was tight and sore ftrom stretching. Usually at the end of the session, the chiropractor ask how it went. Wasn't asked that at all. The chiropractor just said rather loudly "you do hot yoga and you're still tight" after I asked If my body was still tight; I had been stretching, getting massages and lifting weights and felt sore. Never said I did hot yoga; he got this from a conversation he only partially heard where I only said "some locations want masks on some don't, it depends on the social distancing" when the person Cherese was working on said they can't breathe in a mask to do hot yoga. I didn't do hot yoga on this particular day. He was both loud and wrong. I will not be coming back to this location. The service is not good. You are spoken to like a child and people feel they can just say whatever to you. I will try a few other locations but I am strongly considering cancelling membership and finding a more professional company. I have an upcoming appointment with a different company that is not open floor. I explained the issues I had at The Joint and let him know I don't want to have the same experience. I was told by the chiropractor I will be going to (who is also a personal trainer) that they encourage members to excercise and do yoga. That people are treated with respect and has been in practice as chiropractor and personal trainer for 30 years and an acupuncturist for 20. If I have a repeat of my experience in Knightdale at the location in Raleigh, I am DONE with this company. I feel that just because you charge a lower rate doesn't mean you treat clients unprofessionally. I would gladly pay $130 a session, just treat me like I am somebody. Recently visited this location..really amazed at how much they have helped me..the service is quick..the employees are frendly.and the location is great for me..no medication is given..none needed in my case..all I know is when I walked in..I could not get out of the chair I was sitting in.had to push myself up with my arms...30 mins later..I sat in the same chair..and imideataly got back up..with no problem at all..don't know if you will have the same results..but I love this place..and I will return.. read more

I have been a member of The Joint for almost a year now. I frequent a location different than Knightdale regularly; however, the other day I found myself in Knightdale. I was between errands and found myself in a considerable amount of pain due to a fall a few days prior. I stopped into the clinic and met Dr. Cherese for the first time. My experience was wonderful. She had a new patient in front of me which I know makes the wait time a little longer. When it was my turn so took the same amount of time to listen to my concerns and get to know me. Her bedside manner is excellent and she fixed everything without rushing me out like most places do. Her knowledge and attention to detail are top notch. I have been getting chiropractic care from getting chiropractors for about 18 years. When the joint chiropractic opened a clinic in my town, I decided to change my regular chiropractor and try them out. Not only did I like the style of Dr. Cherese Bratcher, but the knowledge of the way the body functions and attention to detail has kept me going back on a weekly basis. Not only does she adjust me, but also my 89year old mother. I could not trust anyone else with my mother. I also refer all my chronic pain massage clients to her because she understands how the two - massage & chiropractic work together to keep the body out of pain and more functional. I found The Joint through a Google search. I have recently had brain surgery and was scared about someone touching my neck. Dr. Cherese calmly let me know that she wasn't going to manually adjust my neck. I felt much better hearing that. I was super impressed that she was familiar with the disorder that led to my brain surgery in the first place. Most "regular" doctors have no idea what it is!! I came in for knee pain and while Dr. Cherese said she wanted to address my other issues first, she just couldn't help but try to give me some relief on my knee. And BOY did she give me relief!!!! I have been hurting for over a month. My pain went from a solid 7 to about a 2 almost immediately. I'll be headed back today as per Dr. Cherese's plan for me. I am very happy so far. read more
