False advertising. Maybe the contact which is very long and fine print, my fault for asking questions and not reading carefully, did say I had to pay for 2 months. However I asked if I could cancel at any time and was told yes at my sign up. When I last visited, I was reminded, unsolicited, that I needed to cancel before a certain date. So when I called before that date to cancel and was told I couldn't cancel until after another month, I was confused. I couldn't even cancel now and pay for the 2nd month. I have to call back after the 2nd pay date to cancel. This is not good practice or good customer service. When it comes to the actual chiropractic service, it's not great. Caused pain with the adjustment with one person. Two different people told me two different reasons for my pain. Neither could help the pain. read more

The staff is a all very professional, efficient and the adjustment is one of the best my husband has experienced. Went in to be adjusted for a condition I have treated for over 15 years. Saw Dr Lo and despite me explaining exactly what my condition was and what I needed for treatment he went on and on with scary talk about a possible herniation. I knew this was not the case told him as much even explained again what the condition was and what treatment I was seeking. After the adjustment he did I told him there was still something out of place and without checking he told me it was soft tissue inflammation,which I knew it was not. after 15 years you learn what is" inflammation"and what is somethings "out of"place. I was very disappointed by his lack of listening skills, and inability to do a proper adjustment for the condition I have. Disc herniation's can be very serious and it is not a term you should throw about lightly. It is not a condition that can be diagnosed simply by talking to somebody and watching them walk. Trying to scare clients with worst case scenario's without having the facts is disgusting and unethical. The scare tactics were not necessary for me because I know chiropractic, I know it works for me and I have used it for decades. This behavior or business practice with someone just learning about chiropractic and in a great deal of pain could become very expensive for the patient and make the clinic some money and in my opinion this is just wrong. **I did follow up at a different clinic,with a different doctor and had an excellent experience. I was listened to, receive the treatment I requested, could feel that everything was back in place, was 95% better within 24 hours(only tender soft tissue issues were left) and will continue to see that doctor or some of the others for treatment. I will be avoiding Dr. Lo in the future. In my opinion he doesn't do a very good job, his active listening skills are extremely weak and he lacks integrity. read more

Upon checking in for my appointment the second I said I had Medicare they refused to even explain why. The $29.00 new patient offer is a scam. I then explained I would just pay cash instead and they still refused to see me? What the hell. The Dr. Was extremely rude and we carried on this conversation in the waiting room. If I could have left it with 0 stars I would have.. The $60/month might SEEM like a good deal, but if you try and cancel you're going to get charged several times. "It's clearly in the contract," the woman said. They will act like you're all good to go, and then the next month, you will get charged again. They say they can't refund anything which is total BS because I know how merchant systems work and it's a very simple request. Nothing against the people, but the business model of screwing people out of an extra couple of months when they've requested a cancellation 38 days prior is pretty ridiculous. The Joint was recommended by a friend when I was being treated for severe neck and shoulder pain. The spine specialist said I should do PT, chiropractic and massage before we considered anything more serious. The docs at The Joint have been lifesavers since I could go in every week for less than my copay through my insurance company. For three months, I have been there every week and I always walk out with more neck mobility and less pain. The adjustments are basic, just as I have had at previous (much more expensive) chiros, and the ability to get in easily and afford weekly treatment has been key for me. My neck is much better and now I plan to keep going to ensure I don't go backwards. Another good thing: since their payment plan does not go through insurance, your insurance company can't decide when you have had "enough treatment" as they have with my physical therapist. read more

Don't waste your time or money. I signed their 2 month plan which you have to opt out of or cancel during the first month so that you won;t get billed for a 3rd month! What a scam! I saw 4 different chiropractors at 2 locations and only 1 did a satisfactory job. On several visits, the guy didn't even ask what I was there for, just told me to lay face down on the table. I get the concept that these people are a quick in and out chiropractor with faster than normal adjustments. But, there is such a thing as too fast. Literally in and out in 60 seconds. Do you know how that feels on your body and neck when you're in intense pain? All of a sudden everything is just jerked around before you can even let your muscles or body relax for a second? Not good. They take no time to warm your body up of any sort. The last time of going here I left with an instant headache and I couldn't move my neck. I know it is cheaper for everyone, but you definitely get what you pay for! If you have serious back/neck issues I would not recommend. They look into nothing of what could be wrong. They adjust you the same way every time without even asking you of the issues you have been experiencing. Save yourself the time & find a place that takes that time to make sure you're at your best potential! read more
