Whenever, I have called due a flare up, he has been able to work me into his schedule. He also does a good job of explaining and showing you what is causing your pain. Another thing, he has been the only chiropractor that has only required that I pay my copay until my insurance fully covered the visits. Also, the massage therapist, Mary, is wonderful. The massages work wonders with the adjustments to help better your back.

Dr. Pettis has over 8 years experience treating a variety of health conditions. At Pettis Chiropractic, our priority is helping you achieve your health goals through individualized treatment plans. Treatment plans vary depending on the severity of the condition and what the patient wants to accomplish through chiropractic care. Some patients only want pain relief, so we help them reach a pain-free state. Other patients choose wellness care, where we help relieve their pain and keep them healthier through periodic chiropractic treatments. Wellness patients are much less likely to suffer recurrence of their pain and enjoy other health benefits with regular chiropractic care. Whatever type of plan you choose; we will support you in your decision and provide you with excellent healthcare.

Eagle Trace Spine & Sport Chiropractic has been a huge blessing to me! A friend of mine referred me…read moreto Dr. Jeff and she couldn't say enough good things about his expertise and his clinic. I haven't had the best experience with chiropractors in the past. One chiropractor I went to,after a car accident injury, would crack every bone in my neck and back and say "see you next week!" without explaining anything to me. I ended up with tension headaches every time after each visit- $110 per visit Another chiropractor turned on some calming music and and held his hands over my body, where I felt pain, then would lightly stretch the area ... maybe I'd feel a crack w a small release of pressure, and then he would send me on my way and say see you next week. $90 per visit. Dr Jeff introduced himself to me and explained his areas of expertise. (His walls are filled w diplomas, certificates of completion and awards - in his x-ray room) He took x-rays of my neck and spine. He thoroughly explained my x-rays to me and told me what was needed to be done if I wanted to correct my neck. My palms got clammy once I saw what was wrong with my neck and finally realized why I had been having pain .. but a big part of the clamming was because I thought that it was going to cost me lots of $$$ in order to feel better and correct my neck and spine. Eagle Trace Spine & Sport accepts most insurance policies. Dr. Jeff also cares for his patients and is willing to work out some sort of plan with you in order for you to be able to have the help and care you need to get on track. Dr Jeff focuses of the vertebrae that are the issue... he targets the pain and gives you stretches along with exercises to do at home on your own in order to correct the issue. Dr Jeff doesn't adjust the vertebrae that don't need adjusting. Eagle Trace Spine & Sport is a very clean clinic. Top Notch Equipment and stretching machines. It has never been a problem for me to schedule an appointment. They are very professional and I highly recommend Dr Jeff to anyone that has any sort of neck or spine discomfort and would like to feel better! Everyone I have referred, since my friend referred me, has thanked me! I hope this Yelp review will help you in making your decision! ;) You won't regret it. Shannon Romnes

When I did something unpleasantly painful to my knee after some serious daily running last spring,…read moremy first thought was: Oh! Great! Surgery! My knee is broken and I'm gonna have to get an MRI and that shit is expensive and me and the insurance companies are going to have a great romantic summer together. That's when I had the good sense to call my uncle, who's a physical therapist in Duluth. He recommended the PTs at this place, and said they were actually athletes and therefore in a perfect position to check out my bustedness to see if it could be cured without knives. I feel so, so lucky that these women were recommended to me, because they fixed my business. Laurie is/was my PT, and she's a rockstar. She did an evaluation of my knee, watched my gait, took videos of me running (awk- watching yourself run is akin to listening to your own voice on someone else's answering machine) and came to the conclusion that my knee was busted because I had a twisted pelvis. Guys, when your pelvis is twisted your legs/knees/feet don't work the way they should. Bones hammer on bones and after awhile you end up with exactly the kind of injury I had. She re-taught me how to walk. She taught my muscles in my core and my legs and my hips to actually work the right way- not the sloppy workaround they patched together because of my twisted hips, but in a way that supported my bones and structure. It made me a better, faster, smarter runner. Do you know how fast you can run when you're powered by your butt instead of your knees? REALLY FAST. And it's totally clear to me that if I had kept on going the way I was going, I was going to end up with a lot more serious injuries down the line in my old-age-i-ness. I won't lie: this shit took time. It was a couple of months of going there (Mendota Heights is a slog), and nightly exercises for months can be a drag. I also luckily have great insurance so I ended up paying almost nothing for this treatment, which I'm sure would be spendy otherwise. But it fixed my injury in a whole-body, preventative way, and I'm super grateful for it.
