After injuring my shoulder and generally not feeling well I called to schedule an appointment and what a difference a month makes. The Movement is near Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove and has an incredible faculty and staff. Clean, options for open or private rooms available and a team of doctors that know their craft and teach you how to care for your body. They offer a wide variety of services (chiropractic, massage, health and wellness and have trainer that works with you to help you with stretches and exercises to not have to spend the rest of your life having repetitive care. They educate you on the benefits, don't pressure and are affordable with many payment options, they care about your well being and practice what they preach! Doctor Paul and Jon are top tier and Logan and the rest of the staff make the visits easy and comfortable. I don't have much experience with this type of treatment but I feel so much better and my visits are actually enjoyable! 10/10 I recommend. They do much more than pop your bones they give you exercises and stretches and strengthening exercises to help you be able to live your best life. Dr. Cydney adjusted me when I was pregnant with my son and my son as well. She is amazing with kids. Dr. J has adjusted me the past year or so and if you have chronic tightness like myself he helps implement stretching with his adjustments leaving you feeling more refreshed. My first visit they took their time explaining what was going on with my neck and lower back and backed it up with x-ray so I know what they were talking about. Please be advised, the Weightloss program is a SCAM and it does not WORK. I did not lose a single inch or even a pound of water weight. I feel like a fool spending over a thousand dollars on a garbage program, but facts don't care about feelings and here are the facts: Day 1- Paid for the program in full with no group on. There is NO structure to the program. I had to ask the front desk twice what I needed to do or where I needed to go. I also did not get the oxygen mask I paid for. They take a photo but DO NOT measure you. How then, do they track the loss of the supposed inches? Following week- New and better promotion in May that was conveniently offered a week after I paid. Maybe I can let that one slide. Following week- After coming in consistently for two weeks- April 30, May 2, May 6, May 7( only for the wrap) and May 8 I notice no loss or reduction in inches. Call and ask Danielle the smooth talker who says "Oh honey, this and honey that." My bullshit radar is on full alert now. Missed a few appointments due to work so I rescheduled for June 11, and received a confirmation for one of my last sessions. However, June 10 my appointment is cancelled with no reason, when I call to ask about it I am told they are unable to accommodate me at that time. I mean WTFFFF? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you like your hard earned money, like I do, do not throw it on stupid, fast, fake fix-ins like this. Diet and exercise is the way to go. I made a horrible mistake so learn from it. Oh, Christine you can donate the 4 remaining sessions since you refused to refund them. TL/DR: Nice staff, out of pocket/does not accept appointments/heavily perfumed air, don't recommend for people with sensitivities/major issues with reminder system I have to start out by saying everyone there is really nice. I've always been treated well there and I genuinely like the people. Seems like a great team but there are some issues that I feel need to be mentioned: Please note: they offer extra raffle entries towards things like a free massage if you give a five star review on their yelp. If you have sensitivities to smells, I would not go here. They are constantly defusing lots of essential oils, which is fine for most people but I get migraines and am sensitive to smells and it heavily permeates the air in the entire office (it's primarily an open concept). Heads up, they are out of network and don't take insurance for chiropractic, so you will be paying out of pocket. The weekly/bimonthly is the best deal, it includes stim and massage chairs for around $30 a visit. They try to get you to do a weekly visit, five month package for around $3000. The only inclusion is 25 minute use of resistance bands/ "recovery equipment". Which, depending on if you do the sign on discount, is between $50-$150 per visit, which you have to pay 25% of the $3000 upfront. Honestly, in my opinion, that package is not worth it. You can buy the equipment in an exercise aisle at a Walmart or Target for cheap and you can easily find similar rehab workouts on YouTube, not worth the extra $20-$120 a visit compared to the weekly. They also are having issues with their reminder system. This is where my biggest issues lay. Speaking on the phone with the doctor today, apparently they have been having issues with their reminder system (which no one informed me about, despite having issues myself), and are switching to a different service. So just make sure you are aware of that and don't rely on them to be notified of your appointments. My personal story below if you're interested: I had to schedule a massage appointment a month out, (I paid for it already through a Groupon), and never received a reminder about the appointment. I understand I should have written it down, but I had received notifications for all my other appointments except one (I called them to make sure I actually had an appointment, and they assured me the issue was fixed and I'd receive proper notification about any further appointments). They also had me in the system under three names, two of which were incorrect, and despite assuring me they fixed the issue, I'd still get text notifications for the other names on my phone. I never received a notification about my massage appointment, only a chiropractic one I had five hours later that day. When I came in for my chiro appointment, no one mentioned to me I missed my earlier appointment, I didn't realize I missed it till several days later. I called them as soon as I realized what happened, which was after business hours, on a Friday evening, expecting to get a call that weekend or on Monday (they operate for a few hours on the weekend). By Monday afternoon, I hadn't received a callback so I gave them a call. Due to it being paid for already through Groupon and they had already "redeemed" my Groupon purchase when they scheduled the appointment, they could not reschedule me or give me any sort of refund (I am going to try to get a partial refund from Groupon but I doubt I'll get anything). I understand I missed an appointment, but I am a little upset they can't do anything when the reason for the missed appointment was due to a faulty system I was not told was an issue. . read more

The staff (Dr. Jon) has been helping me for a while now. I get instant relief with adjustments and love the STEM while relaxing in a massage chair, it really helps relax my muscles. The staff are all so friendly and I plan on continuing care here as I think they will help me with my neck and low back pain. They have so much to offer other than just chiropractic services. Answered ad for free consultation. Filled out the 10 pages of paperwork and then told it was "illegal" for them to treat me because I was on Medicare. They would be shut down if they did. They should have told me that when I made the appointment. Also the treatment area is open to the reception desk and waiting area.
