There was always a dull headache and 3 or 4 days of every week, full blown migraines took place of the manageable headache. Dr. Lydia was able to pinpoint the areas that were causing all the trouble and has given me tips on how to help relax the offending muscles in between adjustments. The migraines are few and far between now but when one occurs, I have a course of action and that involves an adjustment by my tried and true Chiropractor. All three of my children also see her regularly to keep their growing skeletal and immune system healthy as well as the occasional adjustment for dance related injuries on my daughter. One of them for ten years out in Burnsville and then after that did a few adjustments at Lifetime but still had pain. Most Chiropractors do cookie cutter adjustments and don't address your as in YOU, your actual problems. They do X-rays and full body assessment here and actually look at where your body is having issues then adjust your according to your own individual needs! I had a shoulder impingement for probably two years that flared up on and off and both my old chiropractors could not fix it. On top of that I also had pounding migraines every single day. I kid you not after a week or two of adjustment my shoulder impingement is completely gone, and migraine headaches went away. I have had chronic back and neck pain most of my adult life, due to sports, weightlifting, and a pretty bad motorcycle accident. In recent years the back and neck pain was constant. What sold me right away is that they "explained" what was going with my body - not just my back and neck. They took x-rays and that confirmed what I was feeling. He listens well and works with me to determine the root of the issue, as much as possible. Also, from the beginning he's flexibly tailored the treatments based on what's worked for me and what hasn't- instead of requiring I undergo all types of treatments (previous chiropractors have required services like elecrostim, which didn't seem to help me). Dr Dave tailored muscle strengthening exercises so they were more advanced and athletic focused, complimenting my regular weight lifting routine.
