I fell and hurt my back and was looking for a chiropractor. I found her on Yelp. There were no…read morereviews but she was available so I took a chance. I'm doing this review so you know not to take the same chance. I arrived at her office which is actually her apartment. I'm going to skip over a lot of details to be as nice as possible. The first thing that happened when I walked in is she said I look like I need a hug and she gave me a hug. Uuhhmmmm... She put me down on the table and took out a large massager and massaged around areas of my back. Then we went into what I believe is a dining room and said at the table. She talked to me at length about her book and some papers. I kept coming back to the topic of "are you going to work on my back?" Because I was still in pain and I didn't like sitting up because it hurt. She would go right back to topics about her book and asking me what I did for a living and stuff like that. Finally she pulled down a small painting from the wall that looks like maybe she painted it. It was the letter Y. Inside the Y were dots. Above the left side of the Y was a frown shape and above the right side of the Y was a smile shape. She said each of the dots represented stressors and we had to move the stressors from the left negative side of the Y to the right positive side of the Y. You said this would cure the cause of any pain and discomfort. I asked her if we were just going to do a mental exercise to address my issue and would there be anything physical. Said yes it's physical and physically going to use my mind. I again asked if the only thing that was going to happen was this mental exercise and she said yes. I said with all due respect I'm looking for someone to fix the problem not do a mental exercise. I asked her what I owed her for the massage that lasted a couple of minutes with the machine. Her entire tone look and attitude immediately changed. She said "then just get out you're not my patient. You don't owe me anything." Whoa! Avoid.
