In February of this year, I tore my meniscus on my dominant right leg, while running. Needless to say, it had thrown my whole posture off and worsened my preexisting conditions. At the urging of my hubby, I decided to keep an open mind and go for a consult. All the girls at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Wait to get into exam room was a little long, but the consult with Dr Thompson went quick, was very informative and then was taken for x-rays. I was informed I would need to come back the following day to go over the x-rays with Dr Thompson. I came back and sat through an orientation of what Chiropractics entails and the importance of a good, healthy spine. I had NO IDEA how much our spine affects EVERY aspect of our health!! Needless to say, my x-rays showed that my curve, neck and lower back, was not existent. One of the girls in his office went over the plan that would best suit my needs to getting healthier. It is a process, won't happen overnight, will never be perfect, but will be a vast improvement and take time. There were many options provided in terms of financing and once I decided this was very necessary, I had my first adjustment right after. Again, I'm a bit of a skeptic, was scared out of my mind, but it wasn't at all what I expected. I'm going on my 6th adjustment and already feel the relief on my shoulders, less back pain and much less pain on my leg with the torn meniscus. This is a commitment to my health and one I'm truly excited about!! Dr Thompson is a positive burst of energy and his staff are incredible. This is one of the first offices that I felt they all have a passion for what they do and an enthusiasm in knowing their patients are feeling well. My only regret is not going sooner!

Her treatment session was about an hour and 15 minutes and while I have been to quite a few chiropractors I've never had a person work so skillfully by initially mapping all adjustments needed first with her hands doing massage and identifying muscle knots, increasing blood flow to the areas to be released, working out tension points over the whole body and only then correcting alignment. She reviewed stretches and exercises to strengthen correct alignment and was knowledgeable in many areas of health, diet and other treatments. This woman is a wizard and I was extremely grateful she is offering her talents and services in our area. If you have any back/neck pain, her one visit was like 30 hours with another practitioner, massage therapist or physical therapist I have used in the past 40 years!
